Jake grabbed her arms to stop her from scratching and pulled her into a tight hug. "Stop that. Stop right there" he whispered as he held her. "You realize what happened, and you can't take it back. You need to just move on from it. Let this cool off a bit, I realize you are regretting it, but approaching them isn't the best option right now. Ok?"
"Y-yes s-sir" stuttered Scotserfield as he turned back around. His finger moved toward a button to add to the noise, but there was a split second hesitation. <is this even right?> went a flash of conscience, but he quickly shook it away and pressed the button. Failure to follow orders, he'd be no better than the poor lad in the container.
Trent chuckled, "Well I should say the same for you! Both of ya! First two girls in ages and they're gorgeous!" he then turned to Kohta, "Aww come on man!! That's not the attitude to take! Be proud bro! Be a little cocky if necessary!!"
Jake let this soak in a minute, slowly nodding. He sighed, then kissed her forehead, "Alright then. I believe you" he said gently. "I'll tell you now, but... just be prepared.". He then proceeded to tell her all she said and did since the assembly.
Jake and Echo walked out of the caf to where they were alone. Turning her so he could look her in the eyes, he said "Are you telling the truth that you can't remember? I need to know, its really important you tell the truth Echo".
Trent scooted closer and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, "Im... I'm so sorry. I didn't realize... I mean..." he sighed then continued, "Whenever you want to talk about something, you tell me ok? Im all ears for those who need it"
Trent looked up at the mention of food. As he did, his stomach growled very loudly, "Hehe, that's the sign it's time to refuel!" he said chuckling as he stood up, holding out a hand to help up Pixie.
Jake looked at the ground a moment then slowly shook his head. "No. I think youve been overwhelmed by the sudden attention. I could tell when I first saw you you're not the most social of people. All this sudden attention must've been a little too much perhaps" he replied.
When Jake didn't get an answer, it was evident he wasn't going to be talking with Echo. He headed to the caf where he noticed Erin and Keren in Erin's room. He forced a smile as he waved at the two. "Uhh... hey guys." he noticed the blood, but said nothing.
Trent smiled as the dog licked his hand. Old memories of his own dog flooded his mind. A look of nostalgia appeared on his face as he pat the dog, "You're... very lucky to have such a loyal companion" he said quietly.
