Do you have Netflix? They have the complete DVD set of the show on there. All 18 discs of it. I'm sorry that you're not able to watch the show.

So, it turns out that the Hub is going to start airing the Animaniacs on January 7th. I was getting ready for school at the time when I saw the commercial, and it literally made my day. When it airs though, hopefully they don't edit anything out, such as those sneaky jokes I didn't catch when I was a little kid. What do you guys think about this? Is it good or bad? I'm personally excited. First Batman, now this!
  3. I'd say cranberry also. I could see Derpy liking sweet flavored muffins over somewhat plain nut flavored ones. I personally love blueberry muffins, but will take a cupcake over that any day.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgX839ftKO8 Ah yes, Craig McCracken, the guy who's responsible for two of my favorite early childhood shows; The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I was surprised that a topic wasn't made for this show by now seeing as how Lauren Faust is co-producing, and it's Craig McCracken, but maybe it's not that big of news as I thought. Anyway, it's premiering next year on Disney Channel and it looks promising. If Gravity Falls got off of its hiatus and this show premiered around the same time, I would be so happy. So happy in fact, that I can't describe it properly now.
  5. Oh wow, Dinosaur. Now there's a movie that doesn't get mentioned that often. I remember a PS1 game I had for it that I'd play a lot. That movie was pretty good, it's been a while since I've last seen it though.
  6. Good lord! That clip reminds me of those "Spengbab" drawings that I ran into a while back. I'm sure a little kid would get a kick out of those faces. I know I would've, seeing as how Ren and Stimpy was one of my favorites.
  7. Well, considering how long it lasted, I'd say Nick's doing something right with the show. Is it as great as when I was little, as in, the early 2000s? No. Is it good when you consider that they have different writers now, is trying to please the new generation, and is one of the few cartoons that Nick has left that it actively pays attention to? Sure. Spongebob is Spongebob, even if the show is a bit different now then the majority of us were introduced to initially. All I can say in the show's defense, is that it's not trying to make episodes for the teens and adults that first watched the show, it's making episodes for the kids who are the age now that we were when we first watched the show. The only complaint I have is directed toward Nickelodeon itself, if it even uses that name anymore, but that's for an entirely new topic. In the end, Spongebob isn't as bad as people think it is. I watch both the old and the new episodes, and while I think the old ones are better because its jokes had a more subtle charm that I didn't appreciate when I was little, the new episodes have a sense of humor that appeals more towards the new generation of kids. In which case I say, hey, at least it's better than Fanboy and Chum Chum.
  8. Thick line animation never bothered me too much. I actually prefer characters that are drawn in thick colored lines than thin black lines. It just looks more appealing to me, it's blends better I think. Then again, when I watch a cartoon, I don't watch the lines of a character, I watch the character itself and anything else that's going on in the scene. I only ever get analytic on that kind of stuff with Bob Clampett's works, and Disney movies/shorts. Those and the show Ren and Stimpy. Seriously, ignore the voices and just watch the animation and imagine how hard those animators worked, especially considering how strict John K. was with them.
  9. Kick, punch, it's all in the mind, if you wanna test me, I'm sure you'll find, the things I'll teach ya, are sure to beat ya, but nevertheless, you'll get a lesson from teacher- now KICK! I am in lesbians with this game. I would love for it to get another game, even if it was on the PS3. I'd buy a PS3, just for Parappa 3, granted it was a bit longer than the PS1 and PS2 games.
  10. Edit: Okay, turns out it's Dextroamphetamine that the military uses. That's what I was thinking of when I mentioned the scientists. My bad. That stuff's pretty risky to take though, like other medications. What works for one, won't work for the other. Still, I read in a scientific magazine that a better version was being developed that wouldn't be potentially detrimental to your health, so, yay!
  11. Well, the very simple answer would be no. You need sleep. I'm no expert about it, and I'm not about to pretend that I know why, so I guess the journalists at the Washington Post can tell you; http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/08/AR2005100801405.html
  12. Dude, Flowers for Algernon is one of my favorites. It's very, very thought-provoking, I'd recommend that you get that one squared away first. You won't regret it.
  13. I voted Lisa, because really, there's only so much humor you can get out of the dime a dozen dimwitted character such as Homer. I too, could relate to Lisa in a way that someone can with a drawing. Bart used to be my favorite, but my tastes changed as I got older. Now that we mentioned the Simpsons, is it really as bad now as people say it is? Hopefully it's not South Park and Family Guy bad in the sense that they've gone on for too long....
  14. I'm slowly reading The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling at the moment. Different, but it's nice to see that Rowling can write titles that aren't fantasy-oriented and still make it work well. Oh! And I'm reading Christine by Stephen King, or as like to describe it to relatives; "And then; honk! honk! The car honked its own horn!"
