    Just got a notice that gems are on sale up to 50% off. Must be what was so exciting that we all needed to know about. There are some good deals compared to prices on gems usually... Still not nearly good enough though.

    Today several times when I've picked up my iPhone I have had an alert from Ponyville waiting on me that says something like 'Something amazing is coming to Ponyville', or 'Big things are about to be happening.' Has anyone else noticed this? My sister is getting them too.

    Wow, it seems like it takes everyone a pretty long time to level up..I reached level 60 two weeks ago and I've only been playing this game for 4-6 weeks. Yikes. Right now I'm in contact with Gameloft about the parasprite problem. My land, like many of yours, is swarmed with Magic Parasprites and I'm receiving no Magic Shards to kill them..and more keep popping up. I've contacted Gameloft about the problem, and they got back to me within 12 hours to let me know that they're aware of the Parasprite issue and they intend to do something about it with the next update. They asked me to send them screenshots of how many Magic Shards I have and what level I'm on. I also included screenshots of how many Parasprites I have. Since it's Sunday, they haven't gotten back to me yet since I replied, but I'm confident they're going to do something about it. If ALL of you who are having the same Parasprite issue would contact them and let them know, we might be able to get something done about it even quicker. Go into your MLP app, scroll all the way down on the selection menu to 'Settings' at the bottom, click on it, and select Customer Support. This is going to pop up a webpage to Gameloft Customer Care. Scroll all the way to the bottom of that, and select 'My problem is not listed as a known issue.' Now that's going to pop up a complaint ticket you can fill out. Type in your Gameloft username where it says 'Your name' and the email address you signed up for that Gameloft account under. In the select an issue field, choose 'Technical Issues' You don't have to fill out all of the 'customer number' 'Game version', etc. fields. Only the required fields are necessary. Now, in description, explain to them how you have an overwhelming number of magic parasprites and you're not receiving enough magic shards to pop a significant amount of these parapsrites, and more of them keep popping up. They'll get back to you pretty quickly, and likely ask you for more information, such as a screenshot of the number of shards and the parasprites in your land. (They didn't ask me for shots of the parasprites, but I included them just to show how unfair it is.) For an example, here is the complaint I filed to them 'In the new update it said that parasprite swarms that a player was not able to deal with would not pop up until they were equipped to pop them. That's all fine and dandy, but it doesn't help me with the previous swarms that been popping up that I've not been receiving elements to pop since day one when I downloaded this app. I have FAR too many magic parasprite swarms than I can reasonably get rid of. They've been popping up since the first day I downloaded this app and have continued to pop up in large numbers since then. I've only very recently started receiving a couple magic shards here and there on occasion, but never enough to pop a significant amount of the existing parasprites, let alone the new ones that pop up daily. I should be receiving enough shards to destroy all of the magic parasprites that are swarming on my land. I've paid good money to this app and the hand I'm being dealt is completely unfair.'

    I will absolutely add you and give you a heart every day, and a chest whenever I can. I'm sending you a request right now! And I know what you mean about hating this game sometimes. It can be highly frustrating in MANY different ways. If I didn't love ponies(and my iPhone) so much, I'd have thrown my phone through a window weeks ago. It wouldn't have achieved anything, but I'd probably feel a little better. For a few minutes..I think.

    My name is NoctemKnight. I send hearts every day and chests to as many people as I have time for. I'll add you next time I go to GL Live, if you don't add me first. I'm active on the app every day trying to collect money to expand and gems to finish some quests. Right now I'm stuck on trying to save up for Soarin. They ask you to pay way too much for those stupid things. The fact that there's even an OPTION to spend $100 on something in the stupid app is absolutely ridiculous. And the fact that even THAT wouldn't buy you the most expensive ponies, let alone be enough to unlock and pay for EVERYTHING in the app is insane. It's a virtual game on a hand held device..as IF they deserve that much money from people to watch some ponies run around. Keep dreaming, gameloft. You won't be getting my cash. As you can tell, I am currently frustrated with what this app is asking me to do. It's going to take me forever to stack up enough gems for Soarin..and then I'll have to save up for Rainbow Dash right after that. It's a nightmare.

    I swear this thing will be the death of me. So I have a lot of gems to save up before I can finally get Soarin. Until then, I guess I'm just kind of stuck. Which is DEFINITELY not fun. It would be extremely helpful if the 'get free gems' feature was popping up again. Is it showing up for anyone else? It hasn't showed up for me in about 2 weeks, so I was wondering if that's happening to everyone in general.

    But if I just buy Rainbow Dash and don't do the Soarin quest, do I still get to advance in the story? Or can I not advance until after I buy Soarin?

    I have now reached the point where it is asking me to buy Soarin...I don't have 250 gems and I am NOT paying 10 dollars to get the stupid gems. I'd then have to buy more to get Rainbow Dash. That is NOT going to happen. There's no option to skip the quest. Do I HAVE to get Soarin in order to complete the quests to get Rainbow Dash? Does anybody know a way to get gems? The free gems option hasn't showed up for me in about two weeks, so is there any other way to get gems fast? I'm playing on my iPhone.

    Awesome, thanks for the advice. I just bought the hospital and hopefully sometime tonight I will be collecting magic shards from it. (Ugh, seriously 16 hours? They should definitely shorten the collection time on that. Crazy.) I'm also about to activate the Element of Loyalty, which is the last one I have to go before Magic. I've noticed that as I've activated the other Elements, I start getting more of the Element I have to activate after it..is this also true for Magic? Once I have all the others activated, do Magic shards pop up more often? I sure hope so, or I have no idea how on earth I'll ever have enough to activate the Element of Magic. I have ZERO magic shards right now and more than 20 magic parasprites to kill. Stupid things. Aww, there there. My poor poor, pony friend. I give you a chest every day. Some ponies keep giving me lots of chests, so I don't know why you're not getting any. Some pony help this lady out! DROP ALL THE CHESTS!

    I am now to the point that I am being asked to buy the large clock tower. And I am NOT pleased with it. I'm in the process of trying to expand and start moving my ponies and shops to where I want them to live on the map, and they want me to waste THAT MANY BITS (70,000) on a stupid clock tower I don't even want? I'm very annoyed that this quest isn't even skippable. And I will DEFINITELY be selling that clock tower back after I do decide to purchase it. But it's going to be a while because I'm using my bits for other things right now. Does anyone have any tips for how to get Magic Shards? I have a ton of Magic Parasprites, and 0 shards. So I was wondering if there was anything that can be done to start generating them more often? Does it help if I have all the other Elements activated? Or is there certain shops that will crank them out?

    Hahaha! You're very welcome. Someone had to tell me how to add friends too. Then it took me a a couple days to figure out what 'gifting' them meant, and how to do it. I was convinced I was going to be giving out all of my own hearts when I did it and I was like . Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

    Oh, and also! In GL LIVE, you may have some friends requests yourself sometimes. They'll be found under 'messages' instead of 'friends'. I just sent you a friends request, so it'll show up there. Scroll to messages at the very bottom of the menu. And once that loads, click the third tab (the very last one on the right) that says 'requests'. You should have a request from me. I'm NoctemKnight. Click the little check mark to accept the request.

    You have to add people on Gameloft itself, not the MLP app. Click the scroll in the top right corner of the MLP app(the thing you click to drop down the menu to get to the Store, Elements, Social, etc.), and scroll down it until you see 'GL LIVE!'. It's the sixth little icon, right under 'Album'. Click on 'GL LIVE!' and let it load. (You may have to log in once it does.) Now on the left hand side, on the options menu, scroll down it until you get to friends. In the top right corner you will see a little orange icon with a stick figure person and a + sign. Click that to add friends. You can now type in the GL Username of someone you want to add, search for them, and click on them to add. Repeat until you have ADDED ALL THE FRIENDS! Push the 'Back To Game' button beneath your name on the left menu when you're finished and go to your social (friends list). You may have to reload the list (or even the app if they don't appear). They will now show up in your friends on MLP.

    Okay, so third day I balloon popped with hearts..Another Celestia Statue. I'm seeing a pattern here. It appears as if my Ponyville is going to be covered in them. I'm adding everyone new that put up their names. I'm NoctemKnight, so you'll receive my request. And I give gifts EVERY DAY and send as many chests as I have time to. I push 'gift all' so that EVERYONE recieves a heart. Chests, of course, I randomly choose as many people as I can every day and give them one. So you'll all get one from me on occassion.

    Well, I played the 30 heart balloon pop again last night..and I got ANOTHER Celestia Statue. So now I have 2. Definitely shocked me, as I didn't even know that was possible. But I guess I'll take it. It's practically free so

    Today I spent some hearts to play balloon pop one time - and I got the Princess Celestia Statue, which costs 320 gems. I couldn't BELIEVE my luck. Spend 30 hearts and win 320 gem statue? YES PLEASE. Woo hoo. I've only ever spent my hearts twice at that thing and the first time was definitely not worth it, but now I think I'll have to start doing it more often.

    A Moped or Yamaha Street Bike. And I'm not just talking paint a pony on the side of it or paste on some stickers. I want it to have a FACE and a TAIL. Preferably one that flows in the wind. I'm talking, I want this baby to look like you're actually riding a pony. A lightning fast, supersonic pony. DJ Pon3(or Vinyl Scratch, whatever you prefer to call her) or Rainbow Dash would probably be coolest. If DJ, it definitely needs some blue tron-style light details..if Rainbow, obviouslly I want it to leave a rainbow trail behind it. So if someone in the world somewhere that rides a Moped or a Street Bike could get on that..and take pleanty of picture(and make me videos), that'd be fantastic.

    I think they decided to change them because this -> looks like a hippo with hair. Not to mention I'm still trying to figure out how something that top heavy even stands up on legs that small (in comparison to the size of the..ginormous back end especially) And I really don't think there's anything provocative about the ponies of G4. If anything, I think they look even YOUNGER than the ponies of before. And unless there are some pedophiles amongst us..I don't see there being anyone who would think of a plastic MLP toy as sexy. Skinny doesn't equal sex appeal. Maybe society is under the impression that you need to be thin as a stick these days, yes. And magazines, celebrities, hollywood, etc. are all teaching us that skinny is what is most beautiful. But I don't think that has ANYTHING to do with the size of the G4 ponies or why they are thinner than the rest. Honestly, they're 85 times cuter than all the other generations combined. And they make every other generation look ugly (not just the hippo up there). I think that too much is being read into their current size in comparison to previous size and society..If something is going to teach children that they all have to be skinny, the LAST thing it's going to be is a miniature plastic horse doll. I mean, I don't know about you..but I've never compared my size to any sort of action figure or doll, let alone a non-human one. So I really don't think it's anything to worry about, OR that the size of our ponies has been influenced by society. The ponies look much more cartoon now. The dolls, for once, look as close to the show as possible I think. And both the show, and the pony figures are superior today to every previous generation.

    Ponies are appropriate EVERYWHERE. I live by the standard of if it's not strictly forbidden, ALWAYS try to get away with it first. If your boss has no problem with it, then your coworkers can certainly get over it. I think the whole POINT of FIM and the Bronyhood is teaching you to never be ashamed of who you are and what you love. One of the things you love happens to be My Little Pony. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I myself am a 20 year old female on the path to signing up for the United States Armed Forces as an Officer. Sure, my military career won't truly begin till several years down the road from now, but nearly every step I currently take is progress towards it. And even with that, I am in no way ashamed of my love for ponys. You shouldn't be either. So if part of what is holding you back is the fear of how people will feel about you because of it, throw that out the window right now. You will never, ever, EVER please them all. And if your status as a Brony is something that would cause someone to make fun of you, then why on earth would you care about pleasing that person anyway? It's your work space and YOU have to be happy there. If they're not happy with ponys, then they don't have to have them on THEIR desk. So long as your bosses don't have any problem with it, leave it up.

    I would say Pinkie, because she's my favorite Pony (and she sings SO much), but I honestly think that Fluttershy probably has the best singing voice. She even sounded awesome as a filly, so I think it's clear that she wins. We rarely get to hear her, but I think her voice honestly works best out of all of the ponies for singing. Of course, I could be slightly biased because most of my favorite remixes are Fluttershy..But really - So Many Wonders, Find a Pet..not to mention her mini-duet with Hummingway. That pony can SING.

    Holy Celestia. I just gave in and bought some gems last night so I could get Rarity. And now I'm going to need to spend 100 for Fancypants so I can get Fluttershy? Looks like I'm buying some more gems while they're on sale. UGH. Confound this addiction to ponies. If I didn't love them so much (and the app itself), I'd be deleting this thing and telling Gameloft exactly where they can shove their bits and gems. Fortunately for them, I can't seem to resist the insane need to build my own virtual Ponyville. I hope this is the LAST time I have to buy them, however.

    Oh, that is infuriating! These things drive me crazy. I finally managed to get rid of all the green ones, but overnight 4 more swarms popped up and they're ALL magic and loyalty. And I don't have any of those. Stupid parasprites! They make me want to pull my own hair out. Meanwhile, I'm trying to save up enough gems for Rarity, who I HAD enough for..until they made me buy Sweetie Belle too. So now I'm stuck with 0 other quests I can complete while I wait for my gems. And the free gem thing is down so that they can try to force you to buy their 'on sale' gems. Newsflash Gameloft - 'on sale' doesn't mean 'great deal'. Seriously, there's even an OPTION to spend $100 on some gems to buy virtual ponies? SERIOUSLY?! And even THAT wouldn't buy me Celestia. Look, I know she's awesome and all..but you're telling me a virtual pony running around on the screen of my phone is worth over $100? Me thinks not.

    No joke! I have over 400 Laughter Shards...and that's after selling hundreds more of them, and not a single Parasprite is EVER blue. They're always Parasprites of Magic or Kindness. And I get one Magic Shard every..oh, I don't know, 3 days? And Fluttershy Shards NEVER. I've got a giant swarm of green Parasprites just waiting for shards that are never coming. It's ridiculous. Ugh. I'd like it if they'd start selling some insecticide in the shop so I can terminate them all.

    I know, right? It amazes me how huge the MLP fanbase truly is now. I see people wearing shirts everywhere I go, and sometimes when I make a joke related to it, I'm surprised by who actually GETS IT. It's crazy.

    Thank you both very much! I'm really excited about exploring these forums more and getting to know everypony. I've looked around a little, and from what I can tell, everyone is really nice. I love the MLP community. They're always really warm and open to other fans. I hope to spread that love around here myself. (And I really love both of your signatures, by the way. So cute!)
