Isolder is cool. I kinda think he has ulterior motives by marrying Leia which has to do with his family and maybe attempting to change the mindset of Hapan society which is essentially every nazi feminsts' wet dream, but his feelings for her are genuine as well.

Yeah, Leia is moreso due to all the stress of trying to both maintain her Princess status and her duties to the Republic itself. It's a difficult situation due to dealing with the whole Hapen monarchy situation.

Isolder is a very fun character. I love also seeing how Skywalker grows within this book. A lot of very cool moments with the Force itself.

Where are you at now

Still, to me it doesn't explain why she'd instantly get swept off her feet by Isolder when she's been together with Han for 8 years now, give or take. I understand she was stressed but it doesn't seem to me like enough of a reason for her to move away from someone she's been with for quite a long time in exchange for someone she barely knows who happens to come from a planet resembling her own. It seems more than a bit shallow and materialistic to me.
