For what it's worth, mane6 never bothered to try and get a permission license from Hasbro. Sonic Rainboom has one, Everfree Network has one, etc. Mane6 never got one. This could have possibly been avoided if they had taken the legal time to secure this license from the getgo. As Feld0 says, it's generally a smarter idea than spending two years on something this big without worrying about impending legal problems.

Oh, I was not aware of that. Wasn't even really interested in the game, it's just, it's been a big project for those guys, and it's a little disconcerting when these things happen; that, and as you pointed out, it was really random timing on Hasbro's part.

Oh, well then Mane6 shouldn't be surprised and its on them for not getting a license. Still sucks though to put so much work in to see it dumped in one swift action.
