Well all our tractors do have A/C and that I don't mind. 107 degrees and no wind is awful. 107 degrees and wind isn't much better. You end up getting the reverse of a wind chill at that point. If your body temp is about 99 degrees and the air rushing over you is 107, it's not helping that much in the way of cooling you down. I just wish it would rain soon. Our farm is gonna be in trouble soon if this drought doesn't improve..

10,000 acres is considered a mega farm. I mean small family by means of 200-1000 acres. A Family Farm in the sense of what family farms technically are, are farms in which family only do all the work; it's a small enough operation which no one needs to be hired to do work.

Being an LLC is huge (my husband works for a company as a welder, they employ over 2000 employees and they are LLC). You are quite lucky though, to have that kind of acreage, we could dream but never hope to get that big. We only have 400 acres, but because we don't make money, we rent out our land. We will never sell because we have everything payed off (it's a 5th generation farm), and we do not support mega farmers in our area (they are quite greedy and haughty)
