  1. @Saturn Ring “Yep, that’s me!” Silver shouted back. “Come over here!” He waved her over to the steps that went below deck. “What is your name?” He inquired once the unicorn could hear him at a normal conversational tone. “And since you’ve found me, was there something you needed? Did Silky send you here, by chance?” He asked somewhat hopefully. They would often have each other’s backs, even in the worst of situations.
  2. @Princess Silky There was something about the way his bestie smiled at him that brought a certain warmth to his heart, even amidst all the chaotic fighting that surrounded them. He also couldn’t help but feel a bit concerned as they went their own ways, but Silver recognized that this is what was needed of him in this moment. “Understood.” He replied with a nod. “I will take care of these two crystals. Please stay safe, Silky.” Silver would not get too far before he heard the voice of one of the villains, followed by a dark magic attack on Silky. Thankfully, her elphenite shielded her from the attack, but the impact would cause her to drop the crystals, absorbing some of the dark magic in the process. Silver looked back and would nod in agreement as Silky told him to run, noting that she would quickly fly off to collect the crystals, and then fling them towards the enemy moments later. Where those went, Silver hadn’t the slightest clue. He would have to worry about that a bit later. For now, he returned his attention back to the task at hoof. The kirin would make his way to the front of the ship, utilizing his adventuring experience to remain undetected as he dropped below deck. Here, inside a protected area, two sockets for the crystals were housed. Silver removed the crystals from his saddlebag and placed them in the corresponding slots, remembering Silky’s instructions from earlier about the colours matching. The crystals glowed and gave off a low hum, indicating that they were place correctly and were now powering the ship. However, this was only half of the power that they needed to take off. Now, he would need to find the other two. @Saturn Ring He poked his head up from below deck and surveyed the scene around him. All sorts of ponies he has never met before were running about frantically every which way. Using his superlative powers of observation, he spots a pink unicorn mare who appeared to be searching for something. “Hey!” He called over to her, waving a hoof. “What are you looking for?”
  3. @Samurai Equine Suddenly, Silver feels the environment around him start to change. Everything starts turning red, and the sense of dread he starting feeling becomes much stronger. He can also hear screams, and after a moment, he identifies those screams as belonging to his family! Silver’s eyes go wide at this realization, and he takes off as fast as he can, down the road he saw the ghost go down in the last dream.
  4. @Princess Silky Silver’s ears perked up upon hearing his besties' voice and hugged her tightly as she threw her hooves around him. “Hey, Silky! It’s so great to finally see you here. Things seem pretty hectic and crazy right now, but I’m sure we can get through it together.” He smiled warmly. He listened and nodded in agreement as Silky explained the situation to him and what they needed to do. Looking around at the chaos that ensued only emphasized the fact that they needed to get this ship moving. Silky took off to the other end of the ship and arrived at a locked door, Silver following close behind her. She used the elphenite around her neck to open the door and the two of them stepped inside. Silver nodded and closed the door behind them before taking a look around. The small room was filled with all sorts of artifacts, armour, and weapons. “Ah, why thank you, Silky.” He replies as she hands the armour set to him. “I’m sure it will come in handy, and it somehow manages to fit me perfectly.” He remarks as he puts the pieces on with his magic. He also notices the sword and decides to take it as well, figuring the extra protection wouldn’t hurt to have, not really knowing what he may be up against. “Very well.” He gives an understanding nod after Silky grabs some crystals from a hidden area. “I shall take two and you can take two? Or did you want to go together? I’d feel better if I could look out for you, but I also understand what is at stake here.” He asks, looking genuinely concerned.
  5. @Samurai Equine After spending a while around the mark, Silver can feel a sense of dread and fear start to wash over him. He doesn’t understand why, but he feels that he needs to touch the mark to find out what’s going on. He remembers how the ghost looked at him and his curiosity wins him over, wanting to discover the unknown. For better or for worse, he extends a hoof and places it on the scratch. Now, Silver waits to see what will happen.
  6. @Samurai Equine Silver is a bit confused by the elk’s response, but before he can respond, the creature disappears, leaving him alone to pick another way. He looks around and recalls the ghost that had been there the first time and decides to trot over to that area. Here, he doesn’t find much, aside from a large scratch mark where the ghost had been. He wasn’t sure what it meant, nor did he understand the look that the ghost gave him when it hasn’t been picked. He studied the mark for a few moments, but ultimately didn’t see the significance of it, if there was any at all.
  7. @Samurai Equine As Silver falls asleep, he finds himself in the same dream world that he had been in before. Only this time, some things have changed since he had been here last. He sees the elk asleep on the path to the forest, and he also sees the clam. He looks into his saddlebag and notices that the pearl is still there, along with the feather. I still don’t understand this place. He thought to himself. Silver decides to slowly approach the elk, not seeing any other meaningful interaction he can make here. “Uh, hey there?” He addresses the elk softly, so he doesn’t spook it.
  8. @Samurai Equine Silver looks over at the painting his friend points and nods. “Yes, thank you, my friend. Your painting looks great, as well. You have a good night as well, and I’ll be sure to tell you if I have any dreams.” The kirin puts his drawing away in his saddlebag before retiring to his room for the night. Before he falls asleep, he thinks about the conversation that he just had with his friend, and it makes him wonder how much longer he’ll be staying in Japone for. He had been through quite a bit with Samurai in the short time that they had met and became friends. He showed him around many different parts of his country and he met some great ponies along the way. They also helped many ponies, and Silver was even able to communicate with a dinosaur. The last thing he thought before he drifted off to sleep was that dinosaur wandering off into his new life of freedom.
  9. @Samurai Equine Silver looks at the art his friend made before looking back to him and nodding. “It looks great my friend! What’s a ukiyoe piece?” He asks while finishing up his own art and then passing it to Samurai to let him have a look at it. “I guess it is getting kinda late.” He remarks. “Good night then, Samurai. Have a good sleep.”
  10. @Samurai Equine “I do miss them.” Silver responds after a while. “They’re used to me being away for extended periods of time, though. It’s the price you pay for wanting adventure, I suppose. This time, I am a lot further away from home than I usually am, so the journey back will not be so simple, whenever I do decide it’s time to go back. It took me a while to make it out here, and I definitely have no regrets.”
  11. @Samurai Equine “Well, you certain have made something of yourself, there’s no doubting that.” Silver remarks. “And yes, Charlotte is my only sibling, my little sister. She’s pretty much the complete opposite of me… energetic, fun-loving, talkative, creative… she’s a really good artist. In fact, that’s what her job is. She struggles to get by sometimes, but she loves what she’s doing, so I feel that’s what matters. My parents and I have always stepped in if she’s been in need so she doesn’t go hungry oy anything. She’s definitely a huge part of my life, though.”
  12. @Samurai Equine “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, my friend. That’s good to hear you do keep in touch with your mother, though. She sounds like a lovely pony. My parents live in the same village I do, along with my sister. We generally don’t ever leave the village as it is regarded as being too dangerous in the wilderness. Most kirin aren’t as adventurous as I am.” Silver says quietly. “Do you have any siblings?”
  13. @Samurai Equine The two take a seat in a relaxing room of the house together and go about their creative activity. While Samurai does his calligraphy, Silver takes his art supplies out of his saddlebag and begins to draw. With all the things that went on today, there’s a long list of ideas he could draw inspiration from. But today, he decided to draw somepony else he hadn’t seen in a while, his sister, Charlotte. After some moments of silence, a question comes to the kirin’s mind. “Samurai, I don’t believe I ever asked you about this, but do you have any family? What are they like? If you’re comfortable sharing, of course.” He asks his friend as he finishes his line art and starts adding some shading to his piece.
  14. @Samurai Equine Silver also bows respectfully before boarding the train with Samurai and heading back to his region. “Ummm, well to be honest, I don’t really have anything in mind.” Silver replies, back at Samurai’s house. “We did quite a bit today with Gotaro. Traveling, shopping, eating, training… well, you did, anyway. If you want to practice your calligraphy, then perhaps I can just do some doodling for a bit.”
  15. @Samurai Equine “I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, Gotaro. I learned a lot and got to experience so much. I appreciate you spending time with us, and I thank you for the invitation to come back. Once again, thank you for the gifts. Japone really has been such a wonderful experience for me. Everypony I’ve met here has been so friendly and welcoming, it’s such a refreshing experience!” Silver says enthusiastically.
  16. "My name is Silver Slate, but my friends call me Silver. It's nice to meet you, Shiny." The kirin said with a smile. He felt as ready as he could be for whatever may lie ahead, and hoped that he could be of some help at some point along the way.
  17. @Samurai Equine Silver looks to Samurai with a curious expression. “Well, I must admit, I’m not much of a dream expert. But what you’re suggesting, I think I might as well try at the very least. We can see if I get any dreams tonight and go from there.”
  18. @Kramathia@Shiny Silvermoon Silver turns around to discover the source of the popping sound. “Oh, hello there, Chatterbox! My Name is Silver Slate, but my friends just call me Silver. It’s nice to meet you!” He exclaims happily, taking the paper with his magic and placing it in his saddlebag, before turning back to face the other unicorn. “I appreciate your interest in my kind and our culture! What you say is true!” He says with a grin. “I’m sure we will have plenty of time to discuss this later. For now, I understand the sense of urgency in our mission and shall head aboard. But thing before I do, what is your name?”
  19. @Princess Silky@ReverieRiver@River wisp@Shiny Silvermoon Silver watches all these events unfold from the safety of some nearby bushes. While he isn’t entirely sure of what just happened, he can tell by the crowds’ reaction that it had been very significant. Now, a small group of them head off behind a large rock. Clearly, these ponies must have some sort of plan. Or at the very least, one that was better than his. While he had been thinking the best idea had been to split up, he can now see that the best chance they had was to stick together. He quickly looked around but could not locate the other kirin who had been with him earlier. No use waiting here for them here, hopefully they’re ok. Perhaps we’ll meet back up someplace along the way. He thought to himself as he moved from cover to cover. He could not afford to be left behind with so much at stake. He would soon arrive at the aforementioned rock, where a nearby ship had been moored. This vessel also had several others onboard. The kirin looked around, trying to figure out which pony was in charge here. He saw the pink pegasus from earlier, accompanied by a unicorn mare, and decided to approach them. “Hey there!” He greeted as he walked up to them. “Would you happen to have room for a kirin onboard that ship of yours?” He asked with a kind smile.
  20. @Samurai Equine “It’s ok, my friend.” Silver responds understandingly. “Well, it was a beast of some sort. I wasn’t able to see what it was since it was dark in the cave and my dream ended as it attacked me. But it’s certainly possible that it could’ve been a dinosaur. Aside from that part, there were a bunch of other things that happened which I also don’t understand. The four creatures in the beginning, for example. I never would have guessed that some other creature would be able to reach out to me in a way like that, but now that you mention it, perhaps this is the case. Maybe I’m just overthinking things and need to move on, certainly wouldn’t be the first time.” He says with a bit of a laugh.
  21. @Samurai Equine Silver thinks for a moment before shrugging. “I can’t say anything really comes to mind. We mainly came here about my dream, and for Samurai to get some practice in, since he was having some doubts. We even got some gifts. I don’t suppose you know anypony who might be able to help me regarding that dream, would you? It’s ok if you don’t, just thought it was worth asking.”
  22. @Samurai Equine Silver dons a bath robe and follows his friends inside. He looks over the offered refreshments before deciding to take one of everything. “Shall we find a place to have a seat, or do we have someplace else to be?” He asks, his food and drink being levitated by his magic.
  23. @Samurai Equine “Ah, I suppose you are right, Gotaro.” He also steps out of the pool and with a flash of kirin magic, his fur and mane are dried instantly. “Besides, I’m always interested if there are snacks involved.” He says with a laugh.
  24. @Samurai Equine Silver looks in the direction Gotaro is pointing, and at first, he didn’t see much of anything at all, just clouds. But after a few moments, the sun clears the clouds away, revealing a stunning panorama of one of the largest mountains Silver had ever seen. Apparently, this one is the tallest in Japone. “It’s a beautiful view, for sure.” He replies with a nod. “I could certainly get used to this. One bad thing about living in the jungle, you never get to see views like these.”
  25. @Samurai Equine Silver is a bit apprehensive at first, but after observing the way his friends were so relaxed around the monkeys, he decided to also relax, and let the creature look through his mane. “Oh, and what might that reason be?” He asks Gotaro.
