  1. I just wanted to say real quick, I greatly appreciate your ability to debate with me in a coherent and respectful manner, whilst articulating your points quite intelligently.

What made me appreciate this so much is the utter disrespect and self-contradicting arguments being thrown at me indiscriminately in the Switch 3rd Party Support thread. I was reading through that thread just a few moments ago and when I reached the bottom of the page I noticed you were viewing the thread too. That is what prompted this message (lol).

    Anyway, peace out ( ^-^)v

Thanks. I try. I get ganged up on a lot, too. Especially on Nintendo fan forums. They don't want to hear anything about how the paid online service is a rip-off, for example.

I cannot comprehend why these people feel the need to defend a corporation like they are defending a family member. Emotional attachment is one thing, but allowing one's perception to be clouded to such an extent that they ignore any and all shortcomings merely to maintain a positive emotional connection to a company that doesn't even care they exist (outside of their monetary contributions, ofc), is quite another story. The concept of such a thing is already disturbing enough (since I can only assume the vast majority of the people in question do not receive any financial compensation from Nintendo; I mean, if they worked for the company, I would totally understand), but when they will also resort to flinging condescending insults at people who aren't satisfied with what Nintendo is providing them with, it's just going too far. I suppose long-time customer satisfaction has now become an anachronism of past generations...

Why suppress negative feedback when constructive criticism can result in the company's improvement, thereby facilitating the production of better products/ services/ or just generally more pro-consumer practices in the future? I mean, imagine if Xbox fans didn't riot when they announced the DRM bullshit and perpetual surveillance via Kinect requirements for operation of their "new" console upon its initial reveal? Thank God there was an uproar, otherwise Microsoft would have had literally no reason to change their policy.
