  1. Gale’s body became tense when the smaller reptile jumped on top of her, but that didn’t last long when said reptile struck at the larger paw. As soon as the mass retracted, the dragoness ran out of the hole to the cave, being careful to not throw her passenger off. Hopefully, whatever was trying to kill them was too distracted with its injuries to see them.
  2. Gale’s eyes widened as she moved in front if the lizal and swiped at the paw with her own, depsite the rather noticeable size difference. The last thing she needed was to fight anything in such a small space. The fact that they only had one exit wasn’t exactly helping things either. For now, she would have to be careful not to be taken instead of the smaller reptile.
  3. The fireball that was launched out of Gale’s mouth struck the stones higher up on the pile, causing some to fall to the ground. The dragoness then let out a lepight sigh as she felt cold air brush over her scales from the outside environment. The hole itself was just large enough for the lizali spto slip through, but the dragoness didn’t know if she could move the stones on the lower levels with just fire.
  4. Ryu looked down at what he had wrote and simply shrugged. It was a simple mistake at the very least. “To be honest, I don’t think we ever did have the advantage. We’re fighting someone who literally has nature in his side in the middle of a bloody forest.” The teen then gave a light sigh, before drawing his sword and walking towards the edge of the clearing. “Either way, we should get moving.”
  5. Gale looked at the smaller reptile and felt a slight frown cross her lips. “It’ll be fine. We just need to work from the top down.” The dragoness then glanced at the top of the pile of stone and could feel her flame begin to build in her chest. It would use up oxygen, but it was the best bet at clearing away the rubble if there wasn’t an alternate path.
  6. The snake faunus of the group raised a brow as she looked at the structure. It wasn’t exactly anything impressive to say the least. Granted, she wasn’t exactly from Vale, so she had very little information to go off of. “If you don’t mind me asking, what’s so important about this place?”
  7. Ryu thought for a moment, before snapping his fingers as a thought crossed his mind. The shinobi then paused as he realized that something about this situation didn’t seem right, The area around them was far too quite for his liking, meaning that sound would travel relatively further. The genin then drew his sword and began to write in the dirt at his feet. The blade would have to be cleaned later, but that wasn’t his problem. “Ok. Our best bet is to take out the wolf first. If we get hit, we technically don’t lose or gain anything, After the pup is taken care of, then we can focus on rushing our sensei as a team. Shian, you seem to able to sense chakra. Think you can track him?”
  8. Gale tilted her head and felt her ear plates fatten against her head. She wasn’t exactly trying to scare the poor thing, but it seemed that she had that effect on them. “I’m not going to eat you. You don’t have to be afraid of me.” Her voice was gentle, much like that of a mother’s. At the very least, she was hoping to calm the other occupant of the cave before she used uo the oxygen they had. The dragoness then turned her attention to the cave mouth and tried to find a way to break it down without having the rocks collapse onto her. “I wonder if whoever closed this off will come back.”
  9. Gale’s eyes widened when she found herself pinned by a rather large weight, and the sound of the cave mouth collapsing echoed through the chamber. “Can I just have a simple vacation?” The dragoness then pushed the thought to the back of her mind as she turned to glance to what had fallen on her, and was surprised when she found a large lizard on top of her. “Ummm, hi.”
  10. With everyone onboard the bullhead and the destination set, the engines came to life as wind was sucked into the turbine engines. The aircraft launched into the air a few moments later, and a quick change in the orientaion of the engines sent it forward. The city below rushed by and was soon replaced by a sprawling field. Dark clouds could also be seen on the horizion. Rei watched the others and gave a slight smile towards Euca. She would support him no matter what, that much was obvious. Her curiosity eventually got the better of her, and she eventually turned her head towards the members of Team DARC. “I’m just going to assume that no one knows about where we’re going, so I’m not going to ask how much trouble we’ll be in. I think it’d be best if we actually knew our destination, though.”
  11. Ryu nodded slightly as he thought over the rather embarrassing situation he had just been put through. The shinobi should’ve taken his teammates advice and jumped, but he decided to take a hit for Yuki. Either way, there was no way that they would be able to last for the many hours it would take for the sun to set. “I think my pride is bleeding a bit, but I should be fine.” A slight smirk accented the joke. “At the very least, we’ll fail as a team.”
  12. The scent of the lizal, at least for Gale, was enough to make the dragoness sneeze slightly. As a result, she slowly woke up and tried to stand. The darkness that consumed her temporary lodgings indicated that the sun had yet to rise, but that didn’t mean that something else wasn’t in the cave with her. “Who’s there?”
  13. Gale might’ve shifted somewhat in her sleep, but she didn’t wake up. She was happily dreaming of flying through a clear sky above sprawling grasslands, unaware of the fact that she was being watched by things that could potentially kill her.
  14. As Gale entered the cave, she turned to glance at the sunset and the stars that were revealed. “I wonder how long it’ll be until someone notices we’re gone. The ship sinking will probably be noted, and somepony will probbaly find this island.” The thought helped to ease the dragoness’ nerves, and she began to breathe a stead stream of fire on the stone under her. It would act as a bed while also keeping her warm, and it wasn’t long before the dragon curled into a ball, tired from the days activites. The last thing she saw was the black sky above.
  15. Gale could hear what sounded like thunder reverberate through the air, and began to move away from the source. “I had better find some shelter fast. It’s starting to get late if the position of the sun is anything to go off of.” Thankfully, her search didn’t take that long, as she managed to find a decent sized cave. It would work for now, but she would find a better location later.
  16. Gale’s eyes widened as she watched Magika teleport away and Mike leave. The last thing the dragoness wanted was to be left alone, so she tried to follow Mike to the best of her ability. Having said that, she soon found herself lost in the middle of the forest. “Where are they?” It wasn’t that she was scared, but she knew that being alone on this island was a bad idea.
  17. “Magika, calm down. I doubt Mike knew what it actually was.” The dragoness then backed up, if only slightly. She didn’t know what might’ve caused the sudden change in the unicorn’s behavior, but she didn’t exactly want to become a target of it.
  18. Gale thought she could hear something whispering within her mind when she picked up the amulet but was brought back to reality when Magika spoke to her. “Oh, um, yeah. I guess.” The dragoness then handed the amulet to the unicorn, not wanting to know how it might affect her mentally. As for Mike, she simply nodded. “Yeah. I don’t think it’s a good thing, either.”
  19. Gale shook her head as Mike spoke, “No. I was the one that set that thing free, so I’m staying as well.’ The dragoness would’ve told them to leave instead, but she doubted that they would actually listen to her. Right now, all she could hope was for all of them to live through this. The dragoness then glanced at the amulet and picked it up with her claws.
  20. Gale felt her ear plates flatten against her head as she looked at the ground. “I didn’t even know what he was at the time.” It was a weak excuse, but it was better than nothing. The dragoness then shook her head and gave a light sigh. “Either way, I screwed up, but at the very least I want to try and fix this mess.”
  21. Ryu looked down to see his sensei’s hand around his leg, and he got a lot shorter when he was pulled down to the point where his head was sticking out of the ground. “You have got to be kidding.” To be honest, he only had himself to blame for not reacting fast enough. Right now, he needed to find a way out of the hole he was in.
  22. Oh, it’s not a problem. I was just curious.
  23. Gale watched the two titans fight and was thankful that both Mike and herself would be getting out of the ruins in one piece. The dragoness then ran past Magika and down the hall that she had come through. She didn’t want to think about how she might react when she learned of her role on the spider’s freedom, so she didn’t say anything about it.
  24. Gale simply shook her head at Mike’s words, figuring that the other two lizards hadn’t heard her. “One of my wing’s is hurt from the boat incident. Just get out of here and warn Magika. I’ll try to distract them.” The dragoness didn’t really know how she would do such a thing, but it was worth a shot.
  25. Gale’s eyes widened as the true identity of the dragon was revealed, and felt a pit form in her stomach. The dragoness knew from the fact that the lizard hadn’t revealed the truth that she had screwed up to some degree. “You lied to me.” Well, more like to her and Mike, but she was the one that had st him free.
