  1. Take me away, Phil Collins, with your sweet, sultry voice.

...She seems to have an invisible touch yeah.

She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart...

      I can't dance,I can't talk.Only thing about me is the way I walk.

  2. @@ToxicNinja78, Sweet tee! I bucking love Coheed. Seeing them live in August for Uproar. Here's me, being the Sombrero Banana Bandito that I am.
  3. Daily dose of djent, preferably taken in the morning alongside a cup of joe. True dat. You an never have too much Swedish ambient math metal, bruh. http://youtu.be/1cEU2kj68Is
  4. Doing another homework cram session tomorrow, bright and early! Why do I do this to myself -.-

  5. Jesus, ATDI. That takes me back. Relationship of Command was the only CD I bought from them back in the day, and pretty much has all the songs I enjoy. Didn't they do a reunion stint recently? Would've been sweet to have gone to that shit.
  6. Awesome black/ death metal outfit I discovered not too long ago on last.fm: Also, went ahead and listened to Lionheart, by way of Crispy. Solid tunes, man. Lyrics are intense. SPIT THAT BULLET BACK OUT. If you don't mind~
  7. It's a Misery Signals kind of afternoon. On the subject of the mane 6 and metal, I mean, it's possible to assign them different genres, but none of it would fit any of their personalities (or make any sense), save for maybe Dashie, like RD92 said. The idea is amusing though.
  8. Yeeees. More Opeth. Definitely an ever evolving metal band that has a brilliant artist/ musician at its helm. http://youtu.be/6vjg7dQhARY Also, some more Coheed, just because.
  9. Hm. I can't recall recent information in my head. A possible bout of amnesia, I'm afraid.

Happens to me all the time, especially when tired.

  10. Ha, its not super-secret at all. It's from the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series, or more commonly known as Game of Thrones. Targaryen is the family name of the house that controls dragons. Badass mofos. Underneath my brutal machismo, I am in fact, just another egghead.
  11. Haha, I've been posting here and there bro. I was using Spike Targaryen as a name for abit, but reverted back to Halfblood. That and school work. But I am back, and I am posting once again! @@Moog, @@Champion RD92, Coheed is my favorite band, of all time. I highly suggest (if you're interested) to listen to their earlier works, especially In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3, which is my favorite album by those guys. It has some sweet songs like these: You can generally find all their albums in full length on youtube, just to give them a listen through and see if they're to your liking. This is the only band that I'm hipster-y about. By that I mean, I've been listening to them since 2002, went to a dozen concerts, and have bought all their current albums, haha. And Afterman: Ascension & Descension are probably their best material. Sooooooo good.
  12. Hooray! Time for moar solo metal acts! This time its Drewsif Stalin's Musical Endeavors: Dude's hella good for being as young as he is.
  13. Late night procrastination: initiate!

  14. Man, I started watching that vid while I was half-awake this morning, then fell back asleep while the song played. It was like some weird/awesome hazy trip. Went back and listened to it again, now fully awake. Sweet tunes. Gonna look up more of Converge. While on the subject of Opeth, this was always one of my favs from them: http://youtu.be/UR6SQPkK4bA
  15. Some more awesome instrumental prog metal done by a solo artist, this time it's Returning We Hear The Larks. His first release reminiscent of Bulb's work, and it's definitely a good listen. Also, Ashes to Ember, because yes. http://youtu.be/qaDLNQ-d2BU
  16. To any Brazilian bronies on the forum: I know about Guarana soda, and I will drink all of it.

  17. So, I know this thread kind of has it sour for the rapcore/ rap-metal genre (and believe me, I'm usually not very fond of it either), however I came across a band that piques my interest. Anyone heard of Hacktivist? If so, what're your opinions? http://youtu.be/S7bKk5GXKy0 I definitely enjoy their sound; a nice groove that does complement the "vocals". I've only given a few songs a listen, and they're not half bad. Lyrics aren't too bad either.
  18. More JfaC, because these guys really wreck. My spring will be spent listening to them at a greater capacity. Also, completely on the other side of the spectrum, I've gotten stuck listening to Coheed's Afterman: Ascension & Descension, which are just mind-jizzling phenomenal. Holy hell; they are definitely our generation's greatest prog band. In my opinion, it's their best work yet.
  19. Sweet tunes of Coheed and Cambria to ease me through all this late night procrastination. Heaven.

    1. Unpredictable Ranger

      Unpredictable Ranger

Oh wow, I listen to that too!

  20. Sigh. Chi Cheng, bassist for Deftones, passed away yesterday. Just when he seemed like he was getting over his pneumonia too, and improving conditions on his coma. Not how I wanted to start off my morning Listening to Around the Fur for a majority of the day. Deftones was a big part of me growing up. http://youtu.be/x-fNH8zl2iE
  21. RIP Chi Cheng :(

      yeah man. shits rough.

  22. I woke up to this song this morning. My alarm on my computer randomly chooses a song from my music library, and holy shit, nearly crapped my pants. I haven't heard theses guys in a while; so intense bruh. So awesome. And Gallowbraid sounds so dope, thanks.
  23. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
