  1. Bass looked up at the small ensemble of food presented before him, still a bit groggily. With a chuckle, he teased, "You didn't have to do that for me, Kazzy," putting a lot of emphasis on the name. With that being said, though he didn't hesitate to take the tray from the white unicorn and begin crunching away at the food set upon it. A minute or so into his rather small feast, he looked up to the stallion still there, and queried, "Aren't you hungry, too?" Then, with that question, he took a large gulp of the orange beverage that was present on the tray.
  2. Bass finally dazed into awareness. WIth a large yawn, he turned to face to unicorn laying next to him. "Huh? wha?" He mumbled still reorienting himself. "Oh, uh, g'morning. Nah, guess I was too beat to dream er somethin'." Then, with a low rumble from his stomach, he had to add, "Can we, heh, get some food? I'm starving." As he finished his question, a slight smile overtook his face as he remembered his newly proclaimed status, as being completely positive of their future.
  3. Bass, still being tired, was the first to pass from consciousness. He lay there, nuzzling against Kaz when he drifted off. This night, there were no dreams. He couldn't imagine things ending up better. Albeit, he will still have to make sure Kaz will be true to his word about behaving better, but he wasn't thinking of that anyway. He just sealed the bond, and it was settled. He'd make it work, and that was that. His sleep was deep, calm, and very relieving, to say the least.
  4. Bass took the kiss gently, and returned it as such. He was enjoying the feeling, like last night, but this time, it was more. He was finally sure about things. He was sure about himself. He was sure he could work it out with Kaz. He was sure he was okay with the publicity... he was just sure. Finally. No matter how they would grow their bonds, they would make it work. The physicality of the night was only a drop in the emotional ocean they were in, but it helped with all that it could. They became closer... closer than the night before, closer than they'd been with anypony ever. And this time, it was truly going to work. Bass had no doubts. He would make it work, no matter what. Kaz was his, and he couldn't have been happier. Afterward, he lay there, with the white unicorn in his arms, and calmly repeated himself from earlier. "I love you, Kaz." He then proceeded to curl up next to the stallion, and nuzzle his cheek.
  5. "Well, like you can see. I'm pretty tired." He rolled his eyes, and added, "I've done enough work today. So I suppose I'm okay with whatever means I don't have to do much..." He added a sly smile to his suggestive statement. Then, to make things a bit more clear, the larger tan unicorn added "That is, if you are down for that kind of thing, babe."
  6. Bass let a small yawn escape his lips. "Well, I'm pretty tired still from my show.. After all, I was rudely awoken." He said playfully, but with a noticeable tone of weariness from his busy, and not to mention, very emotionally colorful day. "Why? what were you thinking?" he added, a slight smile overtaking his lips.
  7. Bass finally came back to thought. Everything over the past night seemed to hit him like a freight train, but still, somehow, it managed to filter through his mind and come together to form one sentence, "It's alright. We'll make this work, babe." He then pulled the stallion into what was easily to most passionate kiss they'd shared. After what seemed like an eternity, he released the kiss and looked straight into the enchanting violet orbs in front of him, and added, "I love you, too, Kaz."
  8. Bass, still without proper thought, simply nodded with a "Mhm". He then let the Stallion up, and waited for him to return to the bed before following. Afterward, the tan unicorn snuggled up under the covers of the plush bed, this time with the other pony. He pulled himself in close to the white unicorn, and just cuddled, not caring about anything in the world, just enjoying the moment, without thought.
  9. Bass couldn't hold back anymore. The same force that pulled him in last night had triumphed again, and Bass simply threw himself toward Kaz. His thought processes just disappeared, and he didn't know, nor care what he was doing. "Oh Kaz, I'm sorry. I'm Sorry I yelled. I'm sorry I pushed you away. I- I just want you. Want to be with you." He wrapped his hooves around the smaller stallion, and tackled him to the ground, pushing his muzzle right into Kaz's. The tan stallion didn't push a kiss, he just lay there on top of the white stallion beneath him. Needless to say, he didn't know what he was doing, it was late and he lost self control. He just forgot all his concerns, even if it's just for the moment.
  10. Bass looked back at the stallion, almost teary eyed. He'd never been in such a situation of want, and don't. He really wanted to just give up and amend the bond he recently forged with the white unicorn, but at the same time, he had an appalling feeling about him, and how the future would be with him. If only he had more recent experience in this... He tried to speak, but at first all that came out was a jarbled mumble. after a few tries, he managed a, "Idun- I don't know, Kaz. I just..." He trailed off again, and looked away once more.
  11. "But I've told you. It doesn't feel right, right now." He had lowered his tone, realizing how loud he was being, and continued, "I want to, but it just doesn't feel right, Kaz." He frowned, finishing his statement, and looked to the floor, "I'm sorry, but no."
  12. "KAZ! STOP! THIS ISN'T OKAY!" Bass yelled, still trying to comprehend how the rather small stallion managed to even get him to the ground. He pulled himself back up, once again overpowering the unicorn. "Are you insane!? I SAID NO!" He screamed again, still in shock of being tackled. "If you don't stop, I'm leaving and will get a hotel, I swear!" Bass added, turning to face the stallion who still lay on the floor.
  13. Bass pulled back even quicker than before, nearly shouting, "KAZ! I just told you not now! This isn't okay!" Bass then attempted to quickly scramble out of the bed, but the covers got him tangled, and he fell to the floor in a panic. "Buck it all!" he shouted as he hit the floor, and quickly stood back up. "If you're gonna be this way, I'm just going to the couch. You can just sleep here. Jeez." he said, turning tail to leave.
  14. Bass sat there, and with his hoof, he pulled Kaz's gaze back up to meet his. "You know I want to. But as I've said before... Now.. just isn't he time, Kaz." Bass had to intentionally avoid using terms like "babe", which was odd, being he normally hated those terms. He pulled away once more, with minimal effort due to the contrasting strengths of the two. "I'm really sorry Kaz, I just can't. Not now."
  15. Bass fell on top of the unicorn, and looked into his eyes as he pleaded. After a quick thought, he muttered a response, "I-I'm sorry you had a nightmare, but this... us right now... doesn't feel right... I don't know I haven't had time to think about us yet..." his voice faded out as he finished his sentence, still discomforted by their current position. "I'm sorry. You want to tell me what the nightmare was though?" He asked, trying to find a way to get to a less suggestive position.
  16. Bass mumbled some inaudible phrase in his dazed state. Without noticing right away what happened, he slid back to make room for the stallion. Then after a moment of coming back into consciousness, he pulled quickly back in shock, "KAZ! What are you doing?! Jeez! I thought you said you wanted the couch!" Then, after a large sigh, and a moment to calm himself he pulled the covers off. "I'll go to the couch then, alright. jeez.." he mumbled, already beginning to turn away.
  17. Bass turned and looked toward the bedroom. "Alright fine. Just to avoid arguing." He then walked toward the bedroom without another word. and crawled into the rather plush bed. Turning to the opposite side of the room, he closed his eyes and, among a jumbled mess of thoughts and worries, drifted out of consciousness. Kaz was right, after all... The gig, among other things had him rather beat.
  18. Bass sat, and stared into the eyes of the unicorn up against his muzzle. Pulling back a bit he said, "No, this is your apartment, I'm not taking your bed. I'll sleep on the couch." Looking the other direction, he added, "And I'm not leaving you. Not yet. I just need to think. I'm gonna go to sleep, then get up and work on some new tracks in the morning. If that sounds alright to you."
  19. Bass stood there, staring at the work of the lunar princess. It was a beautiful, albeit chilly night, but he was torn between two very different paths. "Kaz." He started, quietly calling to the pony in the kitchen, "You do know how much I care about you and want to be with you right?" Without waiting for an answer, he continued, "and we've been over this a few times, but I JUST have a lot to worry about. I'm not even worried about the publicity anymore actually. I was gonna let it go public, because my manager was the one I was worried about and I was gonna fire him anyway. I felt horrible for having you try to hide something like that, but now that's not what I'm concerned with. I'm concerned about you. Listen, I said that I love you last night, and by Luna I meant it. I'm not sure how, but I did. I just- I don't know. I think I may need some time. Plus I'm kind of tired. I'll take the couch tonight, if you don't mind." Bass added a slight yawn as he finished speaking, and finally turned to face the unicorn in the kitchen, awaiting a response.
  20. Bass found himself discomforted by the nuzzling of the stallion. Pulling away, he said, "No, I'm sorry but right now, it's me, figuring out what to do. I'm not so sure about 'Us'... I just.. need to think. From what I've been through, I've learned that words are meaningless without something to back them up. And so far, you haven't given me anything to back up your words with. I want this to work, oh I do, but like I said, I just don't know right now."
  21. "You really caused a lot of problems today, Kaz. I don't know... Seriously. This is something I cannot deal with in a relationship. I have a past of relationships that didn't end well, and I don't wanna go there again. I had been alone for a long time, and my career was going fine, but I nearly screwed it all up tonight because of what you'd done.... I just- I don't know right now." Bass finished and turned away from the purple unicorn once more, looking at the bright moon in the sky through the window.
  22. Bass simply followed Kaz inside without a word, trying to collect his thoughts. "First thing's first. You're lucky my gig went okay. I was worrying the whole time because of you!" He turned and looked out the long window of the room. "Now tell me, WHAT THE BUCK WERE YOU THINKING?!" He shouted as he swung around to face the couch bound pony. "First of all, you were drunk! AT ONE OF MY MOST IMPORTANT SHOWS OF MY CAREER SO FAR!" By this point, the stallion couldn't contain his rage. "AND THEN WHAT YOU DID TO THAT MARE! SHE JUST WANTED TO BE ON MY SET CREW! By luna you couldn't have acted worse out there! You'll be lucky if you don't end up in jail for assault!" The tan unicorn lowered his tone as he came to a close on his monologue, "You want us to be together, but it's just not going to work with you acting that way. Kaz, it just won't- I have things to worry about, and you just can't be one of them." He let out a sigh as he finished, and looked into the purple eyes of the stallion across from him with a look of distaste, love, passion, anger, and sadness all in one.
  23. @, Bass almost started shouting when Kaz didn't come answer the door. "Dammit!" He half yelled, before giving up, and turning to head back down to the street. Just then, he noticed a certain purple-maned stallion standing on the stairway. Almost at a loss for words, Bass simply stuttered a "W-Where the b-buck were you?" upon seeing the unicorn not only awake, but coming back from Luna knows where.
  24. Bass had played through the rest of his set rather well. By no means was it his best performance, but hay, the ponies in this club were more drunk than his usual crowd so it wasn't all that important. As he finished pulling down his personal equipment, he walked up to talk to his manager about his performance. After a short chat, and his pay check, he turned and left the club to head back to the apartment. "I honestly don't know how I made it through that. That paycheck was nice though. Anyway, no to deal with the problem at hoof.... Kaz. Just need to make it back, and we are SO having a long discussion... if he's even woken up yet... Luna, he was so drunk! That's not alright, plus what he did to.... what's her name. He'll be lucky if he doesn't end up in jail!" The pony finished his rant and galloped down the streets of Baltimare, avoiding the usually slurry of drunken ponies who want to talk about his music. Once he returned to the apartment block he trotted upstairs. "Aw Jeez. I don't have a key." He began knocking on the door, "Kaz! Open up. I'm Back!"
  25. That picture is absolutely wonderful! Thanks so much! Now I just need to go practice, so I can keep getting better at drawing! Once again, thank you!
