Bass looked at the pony cheerfully, "Well, if you're insterested, I'm sure we can find a permanent spot for you, just talk to me after the gig, and we'll see how everything goes." He then watched as the pony hurried off to fulfill his request. "Oh don't worry, she's just new, and probably nervous. She'll calm down, I assume." He responded, maintaining his grin.
-
Bass smiled as the pony obeyed his order, and just responded with a "Cider please. I need to relax for this gig. Lot's of ponies gonna be here tonight." "At least he's good at acting, heh. That's certainly helpful." He then turned, and sent the other technician off with some requests, and began to fiddle with his mixing board - the one he just recently purchased. Upon noticing what disks were still in the player, he chuckled and sifted through his bag to find the proper ones for his set. Bass turned to face the new technician. She seemed eager to help, so he answered with his DJ grin on, "Right to the back of the stage over there should be fine. You new here? I don't recall you being on my crew before?" The DJ queried. (OOC: Your post kind of came as a surprise to me, heh x3)

Bass finally was returning to his normal attitude. Although he did kind of find the white unicorn's excalamation somewhat unnerving, he couldn't help but blush at it. He really did feel complimented, and his assurance that Kaz would find work helped, too. Just then, he noticed somepony had walked up to him to ask a question about the mixer settings. His blush vanished, and he turned to look at Kaz again, before quickly ushering, "Come on now, kid! We need to get setup, go help with something!" He added a somewhat awkward smile to try a disguise their conversation to the pony that approached them, and then answered the other pony's question.
-
As Kaz caught up to him, they finally made their way up to the club. As typical for his arrival to his gigs, Bass was greeted by a group of various ponies. Some were stagehands, some were technical assistants, and there was even the occasional fan. He hid his emotions again... the shades really helping this time, and signed approximately 3 autographs before meeting up with his manager. They exchanged a few words, and Bass introduced Kaz, as a temporary stagehand. They then made their way to the back of the club and began setting things up. About 35 minutes in, Bass finally spoke to Kaz directly, when the other ponies were busy with setup. "Look I'm so sorry about earlier, Kaz. I didn't know what I was thinking.... I probably wasn't thinking at all, actually. I was just worried. Now, I'll try not to let anything like that ever happen again. Are we alright for tonight then?" He spoke sincerely and discreetly, as to not alert anypony who shouldn't hear his words.
-
Bass bit his lower lip as he walked. He wasn't sad, as he had by that point figured out. "Nothing. Like I said, it's just.. stress." The response came out as somewhat of a snap, which he quickly apologized for. "Sorry. I don't mean to sound like a... jerk. I just I'm sorry. I need a few moments, is that okay?" He queried as he continued his walk. Still, inside he had to process some many things that he never had to deal with before. After all, he rarely got anywhere near emotional like this. He almost felt like it was something about the city, but that would've been ridiculous. Instead of saying anything after his question, he just continued a steady pace toward the club.
-
Bass reluctantly and hesitantly stood back up. He continued wiping away his tears. As he stood, the stallion remained quiet. Then when Kaz gripped him, Bass wondered how he would even be able to perform tonight. So much was still going through his head, in a jumbled mess of thought. Finally, as he heard the comment, he looked away. Normally, he'd be the one to make the dirty joke, but right now, he just couldn't feel it. He just returned to walking, without another word. Not that he didn't want to laugh, or smile... he just didn't think he could.
-
Bass couldn't help but continue sobbing. He looked back into the purple eyes of the the stallion holding his face up. Then, he closed his eyes in a futile attempt to shield himself, "I- I." He began, and looked back down before reopening his eyes. "I know..." the tan stallion quivered. "I just.. the stress, I c-can't help it." He continued. Pulling a hoof up to wipe his eyes, he continued to lay there a while longer, trying to regain his strength, but to little avail.
-
"Well... well, why shou-" At this point he turned back to the stallion, and broke. Tears welled up, and streamed down his face. He looked over the stallion in front of him, and could tell he was about to break as well. "I- Kaz... You know how-" He continued to mutter, not able to formulate full sentences still. It seemed like 50 different forces were pulling on him at that one moment. He wanted to run, cry, scream, collapse, and die all at once. After moments of continued muttering he finally formulated a single sentence, "I just don't know!" he stammered, still full of tears. Luckily they were on the back street behind the apartment block, otherwise everypony in the city could've probably heard his exclamation. He finally gave in, and collapsed to the ground underneath him. All the stress got to him, and for the first time in his life, he really, truly broke. He just lay there, practically a puddle of emotion. Nopony had ever, or probably would ever again see him like this.
-
Bass slowed a bit, now somewhat concerned. "So wait, you lost your job.... then later that night came to me, and got all lovey.. and you knew I had a decent financial standing?" At this point he completely stopped his motion, barely holding on to his disposition. He couldn't help but worry about a possibility that he'd been used. He turned away from the white unicorn now in front of him. "Isn't that a coincidence?" He scoffed. "So, what, was this all fake, just so you could have some support?" He almost broke into tears, but held a sharp tone to disguise it.
-
"Well, I don't go on until 7, and I believe this club already has most of the equipment I need on their stage... I'd say it'll take about 45 minutes to get everything put in place, tested, and leveled. Not too long. One time, we had this really young stallion who was just getting into music as a stage hand, and he wound up knocking over the halfstacks.. That took 2 and a half hours to fix and re-setup. It was lucky I'd gotten there early to meet with my manager, otherwise that show wouldn't have happened, heh." Bass continued his way down the sidewalk, and his excitement was rather apparent. "Ooh, I'm gonna get so many bits from this show with my new label! It's gonna be so awesome! Hey, you know, come to think of it... I don't know if I ever asked what you've been doing for a living. Where do you work?" Bass turned and raised a brow at his unicorn partner as they walked.
-
"Hmm... I don't think you'll need anything.. You should be fine just like that." Bass replied as he stood back up. Then, when the white unicorn kissed him and remarked about his eyes, he blushed. "Oh.. uh.. Well, it's uh a stage thing. A theme type thing I guess." He added an awkward smile to his blush, and turned back to the door. As an aura overtook his horn, the door opened, and Bass headed through. "This gig's gonna be awesome." he proclaimed, looking back at the stallion now following him out the apartment.

Ellie Goulding - [BassClef Remixes]
Stargazer Nights replied to Stargazer Nights's topic in Non-Pony Art & Creations
Thanks! I made them both actually out of a suggestion from a buddy. He's a big fan, and I had the time, so I put them together, and it was a rather fun experience making the both of these. I'm glad you liked them too :3 -
Hey everyone! I just finished my second Ellie Goulding remix, and would like some feedback on my two pieces. The first one is an upbeat house style remix, while the second is more at the DnB tempo, but with a slow feel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvDEqLJayhg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00sjTnPsWD8 Like I said, any feedback, support, ect. is much appreciated!

Casual Baltimare RP.
Stargazer Nights replied to Fender's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
As far as I'm aware it's still around the middle half of the second day, so I suppose you could just jump in whenever you want, but I guess you'll have to see what Becker says, since it's his RP. @ Don't worry about it. There's no pressure. Anyway, real life always comes first. Hopefully things get better for you :3 -
Bass rolled his eyes with a smile at the the loosely dressed unicorn. He then looked around the room and realized he didn't have anything to wear. "Oh, uh... Oh well. All I need is my shades anyway." The stallion then proceeded to go throw on his saddlebag and levitate a bunch of disks into it, going over his planned set in his head. "I'm about ready! Hurry up, now babe!" He added a laugh to his command to show it was playful, and sat down to wait for his partner to finish dressing.

Casual Baltimare RP.
Stargazer Nights replied to Fender's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Oh jeez, I knew Bass should've worried. She... she... She knows o.o xD I figure this may come up in the future here, should they run into eachother again. -
"Oh, gotcha." Bass uttered, remembering now how he had tossed the shades when they returned. As he re-entered the main room of the apartment, he answered the stallion's first question. "This club that's sponsored by Hoof Beat... uhh, real corny name, I think it was like 'Trot Spot" or something, but they're paying well, so I don't really care heh." He then looked over to Kaz, floating his shades back to his forehead as he did so. "Oh, that... uh.. looks nice.. You sure you want something so loose on while at a club, though?" The tan unicorn queried.
-
Bass simply blushed at the gestures of the white unicorn. He then inspected his newly manestyle. "Hm.. A lot more.... neat than I usually like, but okay." He added a chuckle to his self remark, before looking around the bathroom. "Hey!" he shouted to the other stallion across the apartment. "You know where I put my shades? I can't go on without 'em!"
-
"Gah, you're just too sweet!" Bass cried, and had to hold himself back from simply tackling the pony and just snuggling up with him. "What am I gonna do with you?" he remarked with a smile. He then turned to the mirror to "Fix up" his mane... or in other words, shake it all over the place. "You know, I'm so gonna have to try so hard to keep up with how sweet you are, babe." He added.
-
(OOC: You're so poetic. You make me feel inferior o.o ) The two ponies savored the feeling of each other's bodies being so close. They allowed the sensation of the warm mist to bring them closer. After what seemed like forever of simply showing love for eachother in a multitude of ways, their intimate encounter came to an end, and the two ponies finally exited the shower stall. "You know it's amazing how comfortable I can be with you, I never would have thought... it's just... I don't, er-" At that point, he gave up trying to speak, and just hoofed his way up to the still wet stallion and kissed him again, then let his gaze drift to the dark purple irises across from him.
-
Bass furrowed his brow with a small smirk. "Hm..." He ushered as he scanned the unicorn. "I think I may be down for that... you know," he then added a wink of his own. "to save water." He then turned to face away from Kaz, and began to walk toward the bathroom. "well, come on now, let's go 'save water', silly."
-
"Hopefully it'll be soon, babe." The tan unicorn added. "You know, I'm not really sure. Just uh, we can make them think you're a tech guy, you can just watch, and ahem, enjoy the show." He remarked with a short wink and a shake of his flank. "I think you'll enjoy yourself." Then, released his grip of his partner. "I should probably shower before we head out there, too. Heh."
-
"Aww, you're adorable." Bass purred as he leaned in to hug his stallion tightly, then pulled Kaz into a very passionate kiss, and held him there. He just loved to be able to have his cute stallion to hold. He then looked into Kaz's eyes after releasing the kiss. "Heh, it's gonna be hard for me to stay off you while I'm on stage, that's for sure." He said adding a laugh.
-
Bass simply stood there, enjoying the feeling of his stallion against him, and the music edging them back and forth. This feeling took him miles away from any thoughts or problems he may have, and he didn't care one bit. He was content, just like the night before. It seemed like forever before he snapped back into reality, and when he did he said, "Alright, babe. It's starting to get a little late now. As much as I want to just stay here, I might have to start getting ready soon." As he said this, he turned back again to look his partner in the eye and smiled. "We can get all lovey later. We'll have plenty of time after my show. Speaking of which, did you want to come and watch? I can tell my crew that your an assistant or something, and you can be up on stage with me." Oh jeez, assistant? That seems a little demeaning, Bass. What are you thinking?
-
"Oh nothing at all. Just thought I could return the favor. After all, you made me so happy last night, and I can't thank you enough." Bass swayed along with his coltfriend, and turned to lean in for a kiss, to add to his show of appreciation. "I'm really glad we met, Kazzy. I want you to know that"
