  1. Denarius Denarius smirked about Zintiik's comment on this other group. He stopped throwing the bits to look over at the Odd-mare and her hostage. "So are we going to work with these ponies now? What guarantee do we have that they won't backstab us?". He didn't trust anypony that seemed she was than willing to behead him so readily. His gaze began to shift towards the hostage. "Oh my little mare friend, you claimed for us to be nothing but dishonest psychos. How can we even be sure you're not the same way? While my companion's 'methods' may have been a bit caustic, she seems to be more than willing to negotiate, are you?".
  2. Denarius @, @@SilverHeart, @ Denarius watched as the coins flew through the air. They landed scattered. Some billowed with smoke, yet others just clinked against the stone surface unsuccessfully. He wasn't to fond of being forced to align himself with any particular pony or group, preferring often to just remain to his own devices unless necessary, yet the little cluster of ponies in the rear corner would probably not look too favourably upon him. He chuckled softly. It almost seemed as if something was conspiring against him. Forcing him to confide, at least partially, within Orion and his group. Denarius' ears stood up as noticing a familiar buzzing noise hovering next to him. "Zintiik I'm so glad you finally decided to help. Would you mind telling me anything about who we're about to be lynched by". His voice was the only part of him acknowledging the bug as his attention was divided, and he was far more intrigued by the other events currently unfolding.
  3. Denarius @, @@SilverHeart, @, @ Everyone Else Denarius stared, his dagger held tight, as ponies bounded around the corner. Finally, a distraction from his own thoughts. The odd-mare moved forward protecting herself from the sparks as Zintiik merely cowered by the ceiling. "Oh, there always something new with you two. I would likely presume are relationship with these fine ponies is simply sterling", he chuckled slightly. Watching as the mare took one of the ponies as a hostage, he simply grinned with a smile of approval. Her methods seemed caustic in comparison to the others, what a fun one she would be. The Odd-mare dragged the hostage along, the captive writhed trying to escape. She barked orders at Denarius and Zintiik to clear a path. Complying readily, he levitated a small amount of the scattered coins, tucking a few into the folds of his cloak they could prove useful later, trying to aim each one at different spark. He began launching them, hoping to begin clearing a tight narrow path of retreat leading straight to Orion.
  4. Dang, I go to do a midterm and the entire RP jumps ahead. I'll be posting in about an hour *sigh*, I'm no where near a computer
  5. Sorry, I wanted to try but I got only a single one. Fluttershy may your kindness always flow, through each new life and nature's eternal glow.
  6. Monkshood @, @@Moaning Myrtle Monkshood stared at the mare momentarily, his brow raised infinitely intrigued by her knowledge, before shifting his gaze back to the Lord Inquisitor. "Lord Inquisitor forgive me, but I must go prepare. I'll be in the airship's quarters gathering any additional supplies that I require". Not one to often mince words, he turned around and once again descended back into the hulking metallic stomach of the ship. The often cramped hallways seemed mostly empty, other than the odd occasional varying branch member. Most of the crew would of seemed to of departed, or probably above deck by now. Monkshood made his through the labyrinthine corridors, until coming to his quarters. It felt tiny and sterile, yet had dishevelled in comparison to many of others quarters. Books, journals, and a variety of quickly scribbled notes lined the tiny desk in the small metallic box of a room. Approaching the desk, Monkshood began lining up his notes and journals preparing to place them in his bag. He looked down at his saddlebag, from the outside it looked like any other regulation saddlebag, but when opened it seemingly erupted with a smell dirt and other earthen components. The scent brought him a sense of comfort as he began lining one of the bags with a supply of quills, journals and his notes. Opening up the flap on the other bag, he began filling it gently with vials. Some of the vials empty, yet most contained a variety of different tonics and potions. The less potent mixtures had already been imbued with magic from other Inquisition members, but a few had not felt the touch of magic's embrace. These were special, a more potent blend than he had prior conceived, he needed to experiment with these eventually, and now seemed as good as any. Monkshood had made many of these in advance, not in preparation, but rather for the sheer pleasure that such creation brought him. Herbs, plants, and minerals smashed together to create something greater, to create something new. The thought of it invoked a nigh euphoric response from the stallion as he closed the flap to the bag. Monkshood strapped the bags to his uniform as he left his quarters. "Hopefully everything will goes as planned", he mumbled as his mind ran over the different permutations and effects his new brews would bring into the greater mix. Walking back through the corridors to find his once again to the top, he found himself thinking back to the task at hoof. His mind nattered at him that such research expeditions seemed rare to him, and that he must be sure to make it an enlightening one.
  7. Oh geeze, I think the first thing they would do is get a top secret military team consisting of Richard Dean Anderson, Michael Shanks, Amanda Tapping, and Christopher Judge together. Then the next logical step would be grabbing a film crew and begin filming the United States next top Reality Television show. Stargate: Equestria
  8. @, @@Moaning Myrtle Oh wow, I missed a lot. I was kinda waiting for either of the other members in the party to respond. Anyway, I should have a nice long post to catch myself up by the end of tonight, sorry again.
  9. I decided to change it anyways just in case Lhee would have the same issue. The entire point of the thing was he didn't want to be heard, he's still a little confused on what to do. Unsure if he can justify continually his actions. You know that kinda of stuff.
  10. I phrased that wrong sorry. This is what happens when I feel like I should post whilst overtired, and now I kinda feel like an idiot. I'll change it if you would prefer that, sorry again.
  11. Denarius @@SilverHeart, @ Denarius watched as a thin trail of smoke billowed away from the coin. His nostrils twitched at the scent of the burnt metal. He looked up from the little coin to notice that it the hall was still filled with these little sparks. "Any actual plans, or shall we all wait here twiddling are hooves?", he muttered wishing for once to hear neither of them respond to his remark. The others began to reach into their own bags intent on solving the problem at hoof their own way. Zintiik's 'method' lacked any subtly or substance. Denarius rolled his eyes. Simply hurling whatever spare change they had at the problem would likely not completely solve it. He gazed intently at the odd-mare as she constructed a little wall of coins. She was clearly focused on trying to push her way through the magic. The makeshift wall inched slowly closer to the sparks until they fell, clinking against the hard surface of the stone. A host of hoof steps rattled off in the distance. Denarius' horn glowed as he let his magic clasp the sheathed dagger hidden beneath his cloak. He grew on edge and defensive. In Las Pegasus or Canterlot such noise would of been welcoming, but out here it made him nervous and a little jittery.

  13. @@Midnight Scribbler Though, I'm still debating, and somewhat trying to anticipate, whether he will keep such ideological changes, or reject them for his old beliefs. Also, I've been trying to keep up with the other parties in the RP, but I can say I rather enjoy your character Clockwork. When I was trying to decide what group to go with Clockwork was one of the characters I wanted desperately for mine to interact with story-wise because he was so self-serving, or it might just be that I find some strange allure to psychotic mad-inventors.
  14. First one, so I find myself actually differentiating and better defining his characteristics as I go on. Granted, I came in knowing where I was going to take his character slightly. I wanted him to have a slight morality shift in that he wasn't going to continually be so self-serving due to the nature and severity of the situation he found himself in. I wanted his own hedonistic ideals put on display against a group who valued some form of solidarity. Though I hate to say it, but now I need to go back and edit the heck out of his backstory and personality, although I needed to do that anyways.
  15. Denarius @@SilverHeart, @ "Oh they're fine just resting in the same spot. In fact, I believe it was Scribbler who suggested that I come to meet you. He said something about you might need a little extra help", Denarius stated readily. Uncertainty of his own choices still niggled at the back of his mind as he stepped forward closing the gap between the three. His eyes quickly noticed and shifted over to view the sorry state of Zintiik, what had happened to him? He face looked like it had been mauled by a manticore. "Are you okay there......." he hesitated. It felt odd and unsatisfying for the stallion to actually put another's interests above his own. "Zintiik go back. You should meet up with the others. You'll be safer with them, and possibly able to get some help", as the words escaped his mouth began to shift around, uncomfortable with what had just come out of it.
  16. @@Midnight Scribbler Oh I'm not complaining, I find it rather enjoyable. Anyway, that's actually one of the reasons why I wanted him to be with Orion's group because I felt like the character would actually feel too generic within Kingfisher's party. I'm enjoying typing him up, but I have such a hard time thinking of things for him to say constantly.
  17. @@Midnight Scribbler I'm finding it really hilarious that Scribbler despite trying to be, somewhat, polite is constantly treating Denarius like the chaff of the group.
  18. Denarius @@Midnight Scribbler, @, @@SilverHeart, @ Denarius watched as Willow weakly hugged his body before returning to a wall to rest once more. The briefness of her caress felt calming giving him a sense of sympathy towards this naive little mare. Her bond with her brother reminded him of the now seemingly archaic bond he once shared betwixt his family. "Well, I guess you get to have it your way then Scribbler. I'll be certain to find and help your friends", he stated slightly exasperated. He approached the descending cavern, looking back at Scribbler and Willow he merely gave them a nod and a few words before his inevitable descent. "Have fun you two". Denarius proceeded down the labyrinthine caverns. He lit his horn, the light from it was weak and barely beneficial. His emotions and thoughts had become conflicting. He had come this far just to sate his own indulgence, yet Willow and this group offered another path. Unsure what to do, he hit his hoof against the flooring in a mild fit of anger. The pain from his hoof stung slightly, but seemingly relieved some of his frustration. Continuing down the path, glittering orbs of light began to hang in the air as he heard the chatter of muffled voices in the distance. He let the light dissipate from his horn. The chatter could of easily been the others. He would risk his chances, and approach the voices. The voices progressed forward slowly as he mirrored their steps finally with the two, now recognizable, ponies coming into his view. He tried to make his presence known before approaching. He was still conflicted, yet knew he had help stop Orion. "Do you two need any help over there"?, he tried to feign his usual attitude, not wanting to show any of his current self-doubt.
  19. I never planned on him going that far. Let me say this though, analysing the board won't help. Your mistake was thinking we're playing the same game.
  20. Yeah, I could see that escalating rather quickly. Anyway, don't worry about it the hug gives me a little bit more work on an emotional level. Also, you can't be a villain if I beat you to it. :okiedokielokie:
  21. Monkshood @, @@Moaning Myrtle A look of satisfaction spread throughout Monkshood about his assignment. The Lord Inquisitor was playing to the pony's strengths, and at least not sending him off on some random other task. That left his partners for their expedition. He was partnered up with the Lord Inquisitor and some random member of the Twilight Branch he didn't quite recognize. She introduced herself as he only raised a brow at her comments regarding herself. The concept of an active Black Magic practitioner slightly intrigued the earth pony. "Greetings Johanna, I am Monkshood", he told the mare. He was not in any rush to bandy facts off about himself, and this attitude was reflected in his voice containing an almost dull and disinterested tone to it.

  23. Denarius @@Midnight Scribbler, @ Denarius gazed at Willow. She was just as determined as her brother to get what she wanted, and more than likely going to wander off, again, if left to stay with the resting Scribbler. "I would always appreciate the company my little mare friend. If you do start to feel tired, we could easily rest for a moment or two", he gave her a hearty little grin as he turned his head back to Scribbler. "I don't think anypony here is going to take a simple no as an acceptable answer. Willow will probably be safer with me anyway, and I can take it slow if the need ever arises". He looked back and forth rapidly at both of them. For once, he hoped that both he and Scribbler were on the same page despite their often conflicting viewpoints.
