  1. Like Lazarus, the forums have risen once again.

  2. I could probably think of more, but here's what I have for now. People who use the wrong there/their/they're in a sentence. People who spell/pronounce espresso with an x. People who refuse to try any kind of new or different food. People who wear clothing that is clearly too large/small for them. Also, Neon Fire here's a comic for you relating to vegetarianism that you might get a kick out of. http://www.smbc-comics.com/?id=3105
  3. Once, I watched it, and gave it a shrug of my shoulders plus a resounding meh then promptly forgot about it.
  4. I would say give it a bit. They probably want to gauge quite a bit of data before even going forward with or revealing such a project. I could easily see them not going forward with it if for example, The Equestria Girls toy-line was a flop. In short, wait and see.
  5. @@Tricksters Pride Me and you could possibly be quite good friends. I've never actually brought him into a combat situation, but I always imagined Monkshood using some mixture of poisons and/or flinging potions at enemies. Whilst probably not the most effective thing to do in combat, it would be interesting.
  6. Monkshood @@MagicalStarRain Monkshood raised his brow at the question. Why was he here? Truthfully, he had been asking himself if he was even going to come since the arrival of the note. His business had been rather slow, but he had survived off of times when it was down to nothing more than a trickle. He thought further. Was the idea of having a single wish granted really that compelling to him, or was it just his rabid sense of inquiry that had plagued him for most of his life. Either way, it probably really didn't matter to the mare sitting across from him. "Honestly, I'm unsure myself. I would assume that it's more my own curiosity than anything else, but the possibility of some form of wealth would allow me to continue my own studies", he told the mare his voice rang of some fleeting form of fondness just as he seemingly abruptly stopped talking. @@AnonBrony Another pony approached him as he finished talking with the mare. This one seemed to be equipped more for a research trip, not entirely dissimilar to himself, instead of an actual journey. Intriguing, such invitations, from his limited experience with them, often attracted nothing more than sellswords and cut-throats. Maybe he wouldn't be forced to talk to simple-minded ponies who could care less about the intricacies and nuances of his craft. Giving this newcomer a slight smile, hopefully signifying that he was more than welcome at this table. Like clockwork another approached the table. These interactions often seemed to be the bane of Monkshood's existence, despite the necessity of them. He glanced up at her she seemed to more care about questioning the mare, North Shine. He would let her answer the questions for him. He preferred nothing more then to observe the conversation unfold.
  7. @@Midnight Scribbler, @@SilverHeart, @, @, @ He listened intently to the unicorn's counsel. Perhaps, he had acted to rashly. Zintiik butted in with a snide comment, seemingly uncaring towards their earlier transgression. Trying to ignore the changeling's remark, he found himself agreeing that it would be better for him to try to befriend this group rather than lashing out at them. Denarius chuckled mildly, though still slightly angry at Zintiik, he grinned at Scribbler. "It was a slip of the tongue, I assure you. As you said what could possibly be gained from me picking a fight with anypony here. Besides, in.... AH". Pausing mid-sentence a sharp stinging sensation could be felt throughout his ear. His ear began to twitch violently trying to alleviate the pain. Gritting his teeth, he began to continue on with his sentence as if he had never been interrupted . "In my experience, it's not opportune to bear grudges so shortly after meeting", he said with a slight quivering grin as his ear continually shook.
  8. @@AnonBrony Sorry to bug you, but my pony's name is Monkshood not Nomadic. Again I apologize, I might just put his name at the start of my posts to avoid further confusion.
  9. @@MagicalStarRain Monkshood tried to take little notice of the other ponies entering. Granted, some of the more boisterous ones arriving made him roll his eyes and sigh with a look of exasperation upon his face. Instead, his attention was focused on the mare in front of him. Gazing at her with a look of indifference for a few moments before speaking. "I'm sure they will spot me eventually, after all you found me here. Besides, I'm really not the type for socializing in larger groups. Though if you would like to sit and talk, I'm sure the company would be enjoyable". Looking towards the mare he awaited her response.
  10. Sorry, I'm just at work currently, but also I'm kinda waiting on Lhee before I respond. Since what Zintiik says or does could drastically change my next response.
  11. @@MagicalStarRain Sorry, I'm just at work currently, and will post a response once I get home 7-7:30 P.M. PST
  12. And confusion by everyone shall soon be had. XD Also, sorry for taking so long to respond Magic, I was sleeping.
  13. I've just realised that I'm terrible at making dialogue for my OC's in any roleplay I'm in.

  14. @@MagicalStarRain Monkshood didn't take notice of the pegasus mare that had just approached him, but instead just relaxed in spot slowly nursing his drink. Though she still approached him, and apparently wanted to know why he was here. Unfazed by the question, he took a small sip as he savoured the flavours of the mixture before putting down his cup. His head shifted from his cup to towards the pegasus as he began looking over her with a quizzical glance. There was nothing out of the ordinary or inherently dangerous looking about this one. Sighing, he opened his mouth to speak. "Indeed, I am here for the job. If only to sate my current curiosity".
  15. Well it's 4:15 I think it might be time for bed. Good Night everypony.

  16. 9/10 Celestia looks adorable in the picture.
  17. @@Midnight Scribbler, @@SilverHeart, @ Denarius enjoyed playing the fool, when the setting dictated it of course, but did not appreciate being made the fool. He felt anger overwhelm his sense of fear, yet gritted his teeth. This was not the place to start a fight, and his words would suffice for now. "Oh, forgive me for not believing that something as servile and lowly as a changeling drone would have enough autonomy to decide to tag along with a group of ponies. Clearly, the brevity and wit of the changelings is beyond compare", he snarled at the drone. Turning away from the changeling, Denarius heard a weakened voice speak up to him. He shifted his stare downwards. It appeared to be the maimed unicorn speaking to him. Still angry at the changeling, he tried to calm down enough to speak with this pony. Taking a few deep breaths in, he opened his mouth hoping his voice would have a slightly calmer ring to it. "Excuse me, I don't believe we've been properly introduced to each other yet. You apparently know me, but who are you", trying to sound as cordial as possible to this one.
  18. Happy New Years from Western Canada everypony.

  19. @ I can see it now. Monkshood and Myopia are going to just get along smashingly. Aren't they?
  20. Monkshood wandered through the streets of Ponyville. His saddlebags rattled and clinked within the night breeze as he thought about how good the crispness of the wind felt on his fur. It reminded him of his travels, and the wilderness surrounding the towns he oft visited. Normally, he would be looking for shelter from the encroaching night at around this time, but a business prospect beckoned. Tilting his head, he stopped for a minute, and pulled a dirt smeared piece of parchment out of one of his saddlebags. It described a quest to find a mysterious scroll said to grant anypony a single wish. In addition, it said for him, and whoever else, to meet up at small coffee shop in town if interested. Monkshood sighed as he thought back to the night he had arrived in Ponyville, a couple days back. He had just checked in to the local inn, when a small envelope, containing the note, slid underneath his door. He been in town for nary a few hours, yet apparently he had already caught the attention of somepony. Normally, such expeditions were generally out of his purview, but business had been much too slow for him lately. Monkshood scanned the street looking for the coffee shop that the letter described. He soon found it, though looked like it was getting ready to shut down for the night. Regardless, he trotted up to the entrance and opened the door. It appeared that a few other ponies had already arrived. They were chatting it up, but he couldn't stand to introduce himself currently. Instead, he ignored them and walked up to the counter. "Could I get a cup of hot water" Monkshood paused for a moment as he turned his head, and grabbed a small pouch out of his bag. The pouch gave off a sweet spiced aroma. "Also could I get this mixed into it", he told the employee in a dull tone. The worker was clearly not impressed, but complied anyway. Taking his drink, he found a spot at the table. It was distanced far enough away from anypony else for his own comfort.
  21. Well, don't worry Denarius can definitely see the profitability of having a Changeling as a friend.
  22. I just realised most of my updates generally involve me wanting coffee. *Sigh*
