"Information about somepony that Princess Luna doesn't like talking about." Icicle said, glancing behind him. "Its you." He said, holding a small, old journal. "The only information here abou you is this journal from Celestia when she had banished you the first time." He said, opening the journal. "But this hardly provides enough information for a research paper."

Icicle felt a shiver go down his back but it wasn't because it was cold, his body was colder than any winter in Canterlot on it's own as was the air immediately around him. "Well... there's far more information here. Information the public library simply doesn't offer." He answer and he wasn't wrong. This was the two sister's private collection. "Even here though, the information I want is sparse at best." "He said, still looked through the shelves, finding a few tomes that would be good reads for later but his immediate target wasn't on the shelves infront of him but behind him.

Icicle squeaked in surprise from the sound of the sinister voice. He didn't expect anypony else to be there, certainly not Nightmare Moon. It was a definite shock to see the mare here. He didn't know what to do but he was there for a reason. "I-I... I'm here to do some research for a paper I'm writing for school." He said, slowly regaining his composure and getting his nerves back inline. Maybe if he didn't appear too afraid, she'd leave him alone. Yeah... that could work. He slowly walked towards one of the bookshelf, looking through the different tomes but nothing in particular was jumping out at him. He was looking for something in particular.

OOC Thread It was a little after the evening hours, the moon just poking out over the horizon. Most ponies that were near or in the Canterlot castle had gone home except for the guards. Two guards were escorting a pale blue unicorn stallion dressed in a blue cloak lined with small snowflakes at the base and bore a large snowflake on the back. The guards led him to the library as he had asked. They don't let just anypony into the Canterlot archives. Since his sister, Snow, had close ties with Princess Luna, she had asked her to grant him permission to use some of the history books there for some research he needed to do for a paper. "Thank you, I'll make sure to leave everything as I found it." Icicle said with a firm yet kind tone to them. The two guards nodded and left the library to get back to their posts. Since he had permission from the princess, they knew that he could be trusted alone. "Oh wow... Snow was right... This place is amazing!"

RP with Nightmare Moon Hello everypony~! Its been quite a while since I've been gone but glad to see this place is buzzing with activity, almost mistook it for a changeling hive. Anyways, I'm just going to make a pretty broad and open post, see what comes my way. I adore romance, let me just put that out there. I enjoy all sorts of rps, the more detailed, the better. I like romance and adventure the most with slice of life following right behind. I like playing with all sorts of characters but when it comes to characters I really like, well, Luna holds top honors there followed very closely by Nightmare Moon. Two best ponies right there, just saying. Unless I'm in a specific mood, I'm pretty much open to any and everyone. What am I in the mood for right now? Mmm...now that you mention it, it'd be pretty fun to have some quality time with best princess <3 Or maybe take a walk on the darker side of things with Nightmare Moon. A lovely rp could definitely come out from either of these fine mares but what sort? Why not come by and find out~

I have a new idea for a rp that I thought would be best to post here since this does include a kink that isn't really standard in normal story rps. And just incase if it comes up, this is non-sexual so please do keep that in mind. Well, I've been thinking about birthday parties and I just realized that I've never really done a rp birthday party. After some thinking, and a bit of reading, I came up with this idea for Snow's party. Since she's a young filly, it would be nice to have a magic show for her. That would be easy since her older brother, Icicle, is a unicorn, he could perform a magic show for her. Only problem is that he's always busy and never really had the time to celebrate any birthdays with his dear sister. So, to make up for this, he thought about hiring a magician to perform for Snow. Normally, that'd be a great idea! Invite some friends, bake a cake, and everyone has a great time! Only problem with that would be that Snow doesn't have any friends to invite to her party. Such a sad thing for a filly. Well, maybe to solve both of those, Icicle would hire a magician to perform just for Snow and also have said magician spend the day with Snow! Problem solved, no? Nope! The only thing left in that equation would be enough bits to hire a professional magician to also spend a whole day with Snow. That wouldn't come cheap in a city full of unicorns that worry more about money than anything else. Now, how to solve this. Well...umm...ok then. In a normal birthday party you have cake, friends, decorations, balloons and entertainment. Now, how can one unicorn supply all these things. That's when I did some reading and stumbled across this story, which I prefer to leave the title unsaid, that gave me the prefect solution. Trixie Lulamoon. The one magician who would be willing to even consider such a strenuous job. Why? Money and the chance to show off. Now, how can that self-centered, boastful mare provide all of these things? Well, magic is a very powerful ability. As is money. Trixie is a great showmare by trade, a handy magician and very able to act, for the right number of bits. She can provide entertainment, company, a cake or similar pastries, and with a bit of magic, provide a balloon. Why would it take magic to provide a balloon? Well, here the weird part as promised, Since it would just cost more to just buy a few balloons and a canister of helium to decorate a room with plus it'd be pretty pointless to just make things simple and not awkward. Instead of Icicle providing the necessary party items, he gives all controls to Trixie so she can decide how to prepare the party. And just so she wouldn't have to buy any balloons, and not have to spend any money on that, she could be the balloon herself. God thats weird... >///> So, that's the whole idea for my rp. Probably my most detail ad so yay~ ^///^ My requirements are the same, third person perspective, semi-paragraph to paragraph posts. And this probably doesn't have to be said but I'll say it anyways, you must be able to play as Trixie. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope that I can find a great partner for this. Basically, I want to do a rp where my pegasus filly, Snow Frost, becomes Princess Luna's student. Why? Because I thought it'd be fun. but seriously, Snow is a different kind of pegasus. She can't fly but her special talent is what I call 'cold magic.' Direct control of cold, ice and snow. Besides for simple weather manipulation, she can also conjure small objects made of snow or ice but she could do more impressive feats if she had training. Her body is also perpetually cold, at a constant temperature of -10°F. So, there would be reason why Luna would try to take on this pegasus as a student. This would take place while after Season three so Twilight would already be a princess and whatnot. I don't really know how this affects the general theme of what this rp would be but I thought I should point that out incase it is important. While I am on the topic of themes, this rp will not be limited to a Student/teacher theme. It could also take other routes like romance or adventure. That can be talked about later with whomever I choose to be my partner in this. I don't have a too clear of an idea for this but once I have a partner, I'll make an ooc thread so we can plan things out. This isn't first come first serve but it may turn out that way. I want someone that fits my rp style. My partner must type in third person and be able to make fair sized posts with good amount of detail. [semi-paragraphs to strong paragraphs.] Also, this may not be the only rp I will do with this person, if I like the way our rp is going then there may be more rps in the future so someone who is flexible with what characters they can play as would be great but at the moment, finding someone who can play as Luna is my priority.

I've decided that Durandal shall act as my CO-GM. He had great experience and has a good grasp of what I'm trying to accomplish, probably a better grasp than myself. For now, this rp is still in the planning stage so I don't have a definite starting point, especially with college starting up soon so I will have to figure out a schedule that will work for everyone who would like to participate but for now, that is all. I will keep this as up-to-date with any changes, ideas and other important information. I'll open up a searching thread once just about everything has been sorted out. I've been doing -some- research on changelings and I found something interesting. There are five different hives and queens that I've red about. Obviously, Queen Chrysalis and her hive. The other four are Queens Ambrosia, Miasma, Myxine, and Calliphora . All vary in temperament and characteristics. The theme of this particular rp will be action/adventure, espionage, and light to medium grimdark. I need someone to help me refine this idea so its easier for others to understand and so it can be fun for who all participates in it. Basically, what I want to make this into is a sort of text-based rpg [sort of like Dragon Age] where the player's actions dictate what happens to they're character. I'm not too clear on what I'm wanting to do because I'm not entirely sure myself if this is even a viable idea. Essentially, this might just end up as a ponies vs changelings rp but I want it to be more adventure and story than action. With that being said, this rp will contain a host of themes that are not limited to hypnosis, mind control, coercion, non-permanent transformation, blackmail, and many other things but it won't contain permanent player wounds, death, and other things that would fall under the bad label. If this can't become a group or one on one rp, at least I hope I can get some positive feedback. ^-^ I'm including some reference links to all five Queens/hives incase they are needed. Swiss cheese is really nummy! Its one of the few kinds of cheeses that I can actually stand to eat. I eat mostly Italian cheeses [Parmigiano Reggiano, Mozzarella, Fontina, Asiago] Soo...yeah! ^^;
