  1. @@Ruby Splash, @, Leaves rustled as the alicorn's wings fluttered. Just a quick, nervous gesture, before said wings slowly settled at her sides once more. "Um, h-how I got my powers..?" Summer echoed, ears flicking back. "I don't... really remember... It happened one day, when I went deeper into the forest. I remember seeing... something. But I fainted. When I woke up, I was an alicorn. I believe I was blessed with these powers..." It was all she could remember, really. The image lingered in her mind, though, of the beautiful creature that must have bestowed her these powers. Then suddenly, another alicorn before her, curious violet eyes turning towards him. Ears perked up, intrigue piqued. "And... what sort of plan would that be?"
  2. @@Ruby Splash, I'd hoped so! I was waiting to see if anyone else was gonna post... Where y'all at?
  3. Of course the forums would go down when I tried to reply... But thank you! Maybe I did overdo it a lil bit with the shiny hair lol, but then again I like to think Flutters has very soft, shiny hair!
  4. Thank you! I love painting hair. It's one of the most fun and difficult parts to do!
  5. I don't post my art that often on here anymore, but I was practicing some digital painting with coloring and whatnot, and I'm pretty proud of this piece so I'd like to share it with y'all!
  6. @@Ruby Splash, @, @@rolle, @@Colenso Rivers, @, It was over now. Summer had thought she was to meet her end here, before the face of Death. Then another came and saved her. Then both the other alicorns were out of the cottage before she could even figure out how to properly respond, but the words of the one that had so affectionately christened her 'Leafy' stuck in her mind. He was probably right... She had lived comfortably in this forest for some time, but it was this forest that those enemies had come to seeking her out. She didn't know where she could go. But, maybe she could take comfort in the fact that there were other alicorns, given that any others didn't want to kill her like the one did. Maybe she should stick with them. Either way, she knew she was going to have to leave sooner or later. The damage to the cottage and the flora in the surrounding area was starting to heal itself by her influence as she stepped outside, the Life elemental timid and uncertain. At least things had settled down by now, and the forest had a chance to recover from the remnants of the chaos that had been here; or trying to. The area immediately around the alicorn of Death would stay withered and dead until she left.
  7. @@Colenso Rivers, @@Ruby Splash, @@rolle, Summer didn't know all that was happening outside - she didn't dare look out her window - but she knew that it was true chaos outside her door. Her thorny vines kept thrashing, in desperate hopes she could deter whomever was trying to break in. If someone had gotten hurt, it couldn't be helped; she was acting out of self defense, trying to protect her own life. If not for herself, because her life was this forest's life. She hardly had the chance to recover before the door was forcefully splintered, the dreadful noise causing the alicorn to shrink back in fright once more. Soon as the intruder had stepped through the now open doorway, smaller vines burst forth from the ground in an attempt to ensnare the other's hooves... ...Only for her vines to shrivel and wither away on contact. So this was it. The element of death that had been introduced to her sanctuary of life. Another alicorn like herself, filled with plague rather than healing. That was all she could assume, looking at Twilight Shadow, seeing that she too was an alicorn. And the death of plant life she had sensed further out... She felt it here, too. It was the only reasonable conclusion she could come to. "Y-You...?" She couldn't find the words to form a full question, but the confusion and distress on her face was likely enough to tell it all.
  8. @@Ruby Splash, @, @@Colenso Rivers, @@rolle, They're here. Summer knew not who they were, but it was painfully obvious they weren't friendly. And she had little warning before the explosion took place, thus it came as a terrible fright. She flinched back, retreating to the wall opposite the explosion, wincing from the harsh noise grating sensitive ears. Too close, far too close for comfort, and now they had literally blown through her defenses. She must have looked like the most pathetic alicorn, cowering against the wall as she was, but what else could she do when she was scared for her life? Nonetheless, she wasn't through fighting. She still had her magic, horn glowing pale green. Among the fear, some foreign but righteous anger, and it gave her the will to keep resisting. As one of her last resorts as a means to defend herself, larger spiked vines shot forth from the earth itself, lashing out at the ponies trying to invade her little cottage. She didn't like to hurt other ponies when her calling was to aid and heal, but clearly it was all she could do if she was to protect herself. She wasn't going down without a fight.
  9. @@Colenso Rivers, @@Ruby Splash, Something was wrong. Very, very wrong. Stop. Stop it. The sense of something intruding upon her sanctuary was stronger than ever. Especially when she could feel some of the life in the forest starting to wither away. When she was the source of the forest's thriving life, it almost pained her when death encroached upon it. And almost immediately, nearly on a subconscious level, she tried to compensate for it, fresh blooms rising up where the plants had withered away. In the denser growth closest to her home, vines sprouted, interweaving among thick layers of foliage in an attempt to create a wall of sorts in order to block entry. She didn't know who, or what, was coming, but she was frightened, and she felt the need to try and protect her home.
  10. Alright, I posted! Just a heads up, please let me know if I ever accidentally step into godmod territory and I'll edit right away! I've never really RPed an alicorn character before, so I'm not sure exactly how far I can take it with the powers ^^;
  11. It was her home. At first, Summer hadn't even realized that she was the very reason for the thriving of the forest. But she realized her power over nature, how the presence of her magic helped life around her thrive the way it did. It was even said that the plants that grew near the heart of the forest contained some healing essence if one dared venture that far, so said the locals. It was her way of helping ponies help themselves and others, that and the fact that the forest itself was teeming with plant life that could be used medicinally. Summer Breeze lived peacefully. Sometimes, she even left her place at the heart of the forest to help travelers in need. Never quite letting herself be seen, but making sure they had what they needed to take care of themselves, be it food or water or medicinal herbs. Her magic made it simple when she could simply make the plant she desired sprout at her will. But that day, she had the sudden, pervasive sense that something was wrong. She couldn't explain it, but her instincts were telling her that something was amiss in the middle of her quiet, serene life. It had her on edge, senses bristling. And as her mind prickled with worry, so did prickly, thorny plants appear in the forest as an unconscious deterrent. Not so many as to choke out the life already abound, but it was a notable shift if one were paying attention to their surroundings.
  12. Alright, here we go! Element / Spirit: Nature Fae Name: Summer Breeze Gender: Female Appearance: An elegant alicorn with a slender build. Her coat is a pale greenish-yellow, her wings tapering into green leaf tips. Her mane and tail are a darker emerald green, interwoven with vines and spring flowers no matter the time of year; long, loose, and wavy. Her horn is adorned with a decorative golden ring from which hangs an emerald pendent. Her soft doe eyes are a gentle, soothing violet hue. Her cutie mark is a pastel pink heart with vines looping around. Bio: Summer Breeze was formerly a Pegasus, born in Cloudsdale. But ever since she was young, she had the sense that the sky wasn't where she belonged. Ever since her first trip to the ground surface, seeing nature and plants for the very first time, she was drawn in by it all. She ventured down whenever she had the chance, and eventually when she was old enough to live independently, she moved to a little house in the forest near the outskirts of a friendly little town. Summer soon discovered the healing properties of certain plants after a kindly zebra mentioned it to her when she had went to the nearby town to buy food and other necessities. Fascinated, she threw herself into the study of herbology, and over the years she learned how to become a natural healer. Having never obtained a cutie mark to this point, in her early 20s, she was sure that this was her calling and it would soon appear. But, even after she went into town again and helped a sickly pony with her natural remedies, she never did gain that cutie mark. Regardless, she never lost hope. She continued to lend her abilities where she could, healing ponies out of the goodness of her heart. She did everything she could to help ponies, and always offered a helping hoof. And eventually, a certain spirit saw the light in this pony's heart, pure and kind and gentle. It happened when Summer was out walking in the forest one day. In her peripheral vision, she saw some unidentified figure heading deeper into the forest. A fleeting image that was gone when she looked, but nonetheless it compelled her to follow after. She walked and walked, seeing something time and again, until she was at the heart of the forest. She doesn't remember exactly what happened next, but recounting the tale, she would swear that she saw a beautiful, ethereal creature approaching her just before she lost consciousness. And it must have been true, for when she came to, she was born anew as an alicorn of nature and healing. She was startled by the magic she suddenly found herself with, but when Summer eventually adjusted, she decided to stay within the forest, and actually moved to the heart of the forest where the magical event had occurred, crafting herself a house there with materials found in the nature around her. She knew not how others would react if they were to see her, but she feared it might not be all too positive, so she stays where she feels most at home. Personality: Summer is incredibly selfless, to a fault actually, and would gladly reach out to help someone even if it meant putting herself at risk. She has always been the kind and nurturing sort, but she would endanger herself in favor of helping. In her mind, she's not as important as another innocent life.
  13. I am very much interested in this RP, so much so that I'm inspired to create a new OC just for it! Though, it may take me some time, so could I possibly reserve a spot while I write up their profile? The Nature Fae one, to be specific
  14. Let's see here... Galatea is stubborn to a fault. If she's set her mind to doing something, she'll follow it through to the end even if that turns out to be not such a good idea. She's reluctant to form close relationships with anyone, because of a crippling underlying fear of losing anyone she cares about. She bottles her emotions up (especially the grief from losing her loved one so many years ago), which can lead to bad moods and eventually full-blown breakdowns. And she's a workaholic on top of all that. Basically, she puts others before her and doesn't take very good care of herself, so while she's an Earth Pony with above-average strength for a mare her age, she can end up making herself exhausted or generally not in good health. Ariel suffers from severe anxiety and is prone to anxiety/panic attacks. She's hesitant and nervous, second-guessing nearly everything she does. She's terrified that her "curse" (that is, her mental illness) will cause her to be shunned or hated, so she tries her hardest to appear "normal." It doesn't usually work very well, and consequently she just tries to minimize contact with other ponies. Not to mention that if she's pushed too far or too stressed, she starts hearing voices and eventually goes into a psychotic break and lashes out at others. Her magic is somewhat stronger than the average unicorn's, but concentration is a requirement to maintain it, and sometimes she finds it difficult to focus. Nano is naive and perhaps a little too trusting. Since learning about friendship, this robot pony wants to try and see the best in everypony; but he doesn't quite know that some can have hidden agendas. He doesn't know that some can manipulate, and lie, and backstab someone in the end. He gets confused easily with conflicting information. And physically, he's a robot that was never made to be waterproof so... water could be an issue for him
  15. @@Life Fiber Infused, @@SpikusFyre, @, Oh goodness, there were a lot of Pokemon here now; at least, more than Belle had ever seen in her brief life span. She had figured that she wasn't alone in this facility, but regardless it was fascinating to meet so many others that she could call her kin - Pokemon just like her, born in this laboratory and destined for whatever purpose they were created for. Except their purpose now would be what they wanted it to be, because they were free. That was the best part. They still needed to get out of the facility, though. They weren't going anywhere if they couldn't find their way out, and therein lied the problem. Belle wished she had been able to see more of the place now, rather than her cell and the path to the testing room Catherine had always taken her to. When the question of an exit came up, the chimera frowned and shook her head. 'I'm afraid I don't know,' she admitted, 'My knowledge of this place is... limited. And this is a very large laboratory, too...'
  16. @@Colenso Rivers, So gullible was she, the scientist didn't even question it. Never considered the possibility of one of the other chimeras being able to transform or shapeshift, or that one of them could mimic her little Belle just well enough that it successfully tricked her in the low lighting. All she was worried about was getting Belle safely back in the cell; or perhaps to escape with the chimera seeing that hell had broken loose here with a cacophony of chaos echoing through the halls. "Shh, shh, it's okay, Belle..." Catherine cooed, without hesitation wrapping her arms around the one she presumed to be her precious little chimera. ...The realization she had made a mistake was the thought on her mind in her final moments. ------ @@SpikusFyre, @, Belle wasn't used to interaction with other Pokemon, let alone a fellow chimera, so she was a little startled when suddenly the other was close and nuzzled his head against her. Momentarily forgetting that she could use words to actually communicate with this other chimera, a quiet trill sounded from her that didn't mean much aside from expressing surprise and perhaps towards the gesture. But she didn't have much time to question that, for the other was running ahead. Did he know the way out? She could only hope so, as she trailed after the flame of his tail - only to stop short when she heard a voice calling out. She turned towards the chimera known as Gladius, soft red eyes wide and curious. It was only then, hearing a word uttered, that she recalled that she could speak as well, if only through psychic means. '...Hello?' Even the voice mentally projected was timid and soft, much like her appearance.
  17. @@Colenso Rivers, It was dark, and chances were that others were having trouble seeing much under the dim red light the emergency generators provided once they had kicked in a minute later. It was too late, damage already done; the chimeras were out, on the loose, and some were out for blood. Catherine was searching for her own creation, fretting over what the other, fiercer ones might do if they happened upon the docile creature. Belle wasn't built for fighting, outside of Contest battles perhaps; the others could tear the poor thing apart! Of course, she needed to keep an eye out herself, but she was a little more capable of defending herself than the cute little creature that just escaped, so she liked to think. Then, a noise. Catherine immediately turned towards it, and saw... Well, something that did look like Belle at first glance. The human eye was so easily tricked, especially in low light. "Belle? Belle! Oh, sweetie, come here, it's not safe for you out there..." ------ Belle was surprisingly fast, for a Pokemon with no legs. She had only an amorphous form for her lower body, and truly it was remarkable how swift she could be, moving along with slithering motions not too unlike that of a snake. Or a slug, perhaps. It was graceful in a very strange, unique way. She hurried down this hallway, then another, seeking the exit. It had to be around here somewhere; she was well aware that there was a world outside of this one. She'd never seen it, but she knew it was out there. She knew she had to get away. Away from the scientists, from the testing, from everything in that facility. So focused was she on navigating the hallways, she didn't notice the other chimera in her path until the moment she ended up colliding with them (@SpikusFyre). A squeak escaped her, the chimera shuffling back and shaking her head to recover.
  18. Catherine Rozen had created something beautiful. Or at the very least, cute. The chimera designated by the code A34G06G82, better known as Belle to the scientist, was a wonderful little thing Catherine was glad to have helped bring into this world. It was a docile-natured Pokemon - and she knew she was fortunate for that, seeing some of the more vicious-looking creations the other scientists had been commissioned to make. Belle was good, Belle was obedient and always complied with the obligatory testing; Catherine never had to worry when she had to let down the barrier and open the door. "Hello there, beautiful," the scientist crooned as she opened the door, letting the glass swing open. It had been time for another round of routine testing, so Dr. Rozen had decided. "I think you know the drill. I'll be quick this time, I promise." Belle only blinked, turning rose-red eyes up towards the scientist. Though capable of psychic communication, this chimera was never one for speaking much to Catherine or any of the other scientists. She indeed knew what would be coming, and she knew her only option would be to accept it as usual. ...Until the power went out. There was a commotion, and Belle saw a chance to escape. No matter what happened to the scientist that gave her life; freedom was so much more important, when all she had ever known was that glass case and the cold examination table. And so, despite the scientist's protesting cries and pleas for her to come back, she fled away from Catherine, immediately seeking a way out of the facility. She didn't know where it was, but surely she would find it sooner or later. No matter what would happen to Catherine, left at the mercy of whatever other chimeras were in the hallways at that point in time.
  19. Aw, thank you! I'll see what I can do, but- maybe not right now, I've kinda been out of commission with a headache for the better part of today ^^;
  20. @@Colenso Rivers, Alright, fixed up my post! The only thing I haven't added now is the special move for my chimera, if only because I'm not that creative with Pokemon moves lol. I'll come up with something before too long.
  21. I've... noticed... For some reason, it decided to do that when I was saving my last changes. Working on trying to fix it now...
  22. I've considered that, but honestly I don't know the answer. I might consider another Dragon type or something similar in the place of Dragonair.
  23. Alright, let's see what I can do for a character sheet! Designation code: A34G06G82 Nickname: Belle, meaning beautiful. Components: Altaria, Goodra, Gardevoir* *That is to say, the initial form will be based upon Swablu, Goomy, and Ralts. Appearance: Lead scientist: Dr. Catherine Rozen, a former Pokemon Coordinator that gave up Contests later in life to pursue the passion she discovered for science. Drawn into the chimera projects at the prospect of so much money, she was uncertain at first. Then she was made an offer, from another Coordinator that wanted the most perfect, most beautiful Pokemon creation possible. And of course, she dove into the project after the realization that she could, indeed, help to make something beautiful from all of this. The chimera that was born from this was indeed a gorgeous creature, and Catherine grew attached. It was a docile little thing, and seemed like it would grow up to be a fine specimen for Contests and the like. However, when the power grid failed and hell broke loose, the chimera fled and left the scientist behind, leaving her to the mercy of the chimeras lurking in the halls of the laboratory. She did not survive. Statistics: Health - 29 Attack - 15 Defense - 15 Sp. Attack - 16 Sp. Defense - 18 Speed - 15 Primary types: Dragon, Psychic, Flying Chimera type: Fairy Type weaknesses: Fighting, Ice Type resistance: Dragon, Dark Type immunity: Psychic Standard moves: Bubble, Confusion, Sing Signature move: Tbd Abilities: Hydration, Synchronize, Natural Cure Additional details: Belle considers herself to be female, and never really liked that the scientists often referred to her as an "it." She is a Pokemon of docile nature, though, and never made much of an attempt to start confrontations. Being an intelligent Psychic-type, telepathy is something that comes naturally to her; it's her preferred method of communication, and of course the only way she may communicate with humans. She's also highly empathetic, easily able to pick up on others' emotions seeing that Ralts, the "Feelings Pokemon," is part of her. Her body is nearly boneless, making her capable of squeezing into impossible places and the like. She prefers places that are humid or damp; drier places are tolerable, but generally uncomfortable on her skin. And while she was created to be in the spotlight, Belle tends to shy away from the notion of showing off.
  24. It shouldn't affect you when you don't want it to. The effects don't usually last long beyond the duration of the file anyway, unless you're consistent with listening to it every day and are aiming for more permanent effects. Besides that, all pony files include "triggers" to bring you into or out of the pony state at will. The files can be found here: https://hypnoponies.net/ You'll need to sign up, and wait for approval before you can get to the files. What drama? Yes, this thread is associated with the newest Hypnoponies forum, hypnoponies.net. But, I haven't heard anything about drama over there.
