I like scars because they remind me of what I've been able to overcome. Mine are all self-harm scars and they can be really embarrassing, but when I see them I think of them as scars from battles, and the fact that I'm alive to see them means that I'm winning the battle

Just be an individual. It's that simple. You don't have to "grow up." You can be "childish." Or you can be neither. Just do whatever feels right for you. It's ultimately your life, and only you know the kind of life that works for you. As for drugs and alcohol, that's just a personal choice imo. I don't like alcohol all that much, but I do like psychedelics since they've had a really positive effect on my life and have helped me with my depression and borderline personality disorder. Make the choices for yourself. Again, it's your life, and only yours.

Hey! So I made this account a couple weeks ago but I'm just now getting around to posting so I thought I should tell a little bit about myself in case anypony wants to read My name's Billy. I'm 19, living in Canada. Generally I'm a pretty quiet Fluttershyish guy. I'm bisexual, and pretty all-around queer (what is gender anyway?). I'm super into music, some of my favourite bands being The Velvet Underground, The Magnetic Fields, Sigur Ros, Big Blood, of Montreal, I could go on lol. Um, I'm also pretty into film and my favourite director is probably Woody Allen (yay for neurotic awkwardness). I'm usually not too into tv except for some anime, Serial Experiments Lain being like my favourite thing in the world. I first got into the show about a year ago after I heard the music and LOVED it. Started watching the show and was instantly hooked. Favourite episode is uh, I forget the name but it's the first one with the Cutie Mark Crusaders! Anyway, thanks for reading and I look forward to getting to talk to some people, er, ponies on this site!
