I like to draw on computer. The best program for it is adobe illustrator. I think I read somewhere that they actually use a similar program to make the show. I was drawing some ponies on it and they looked just like they do in the show, if you have the money to get the program and can be bothered to learn how to use it I really recommend it. Me and my friend were having a contest to see who could make the most pony related stuff in the week leading up to the season 4 premiere. Because the ponies now write in a diary the ending to this needs to be changed I guess, but depending on what feed back I get on this I might make it into an actual episode and put it up on youtube. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my fan fic, I believe I can fly: Beginning, zooms in on rainbow dashes house: Rainbow dash is sleeping under the covers in a most unsatisfactory position and snoring. You hear scootaloo screaming "Rainbow Dash" faintly. Rainbow Dash looks up ever so slightly but then goes back to sleep. The scene then switches to scootaloo on her scooter looking up at RD's house. She then looks confused turns round, pulls out a blow horn and it makes a super loud sound that wakes up Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash is then startled and falls out of her bed, through her floor (cause it’s made of cloud) and then onto the ground right in front of scootaloo. dazed, she looks up and says Rainbow Dash:"scootaloo! Why'd you wake me up!? You know I sleep till noon!" scootaloo: "well dashie, you promised to help me learn to fly today..." Rainbow Dash: "...I did?" Scootaloo:"yes Rainbow Dash!" a bit more perked up, Rainbow Dash flies up to her house and grabs her coach hat and whistle. Rainbow Dash: "ok, well I guess we'll get started then!" Scene switches to sugar cube corner where Rainbow Dash is getting coffee. Pinky pie then vertically sneaks in through the right side of the screen. pinky pie: “HAY DASHIE! What ya dooo'n!?" Rainbow Dash: "eh, just having some coffee before I teach scootaloo how to fly." Pinky pie:"... What's "coffee"?" Rainbow Dash: "you've never had coffee?" Scootaloo: "common Rainbow Dash, imma ready to saw!" Rainbow Dash: "ok, I gotta go, later pinky, later mr. 'n n's. cake!" Rainbow Dash and scootaloo exit, pinky pie looks around then stairs at the coffee, and take a huge swig of it. Her pupils go small then super big and she bounces out of shot. the screen fades to a field where rainbow dash is making scootaloo do wing push ups while rainbow dash just walks around looking like a couch. scootaloo: “98… 99… eee… 100! I’m ready dash! let’s do this!” rainbow dash: “ok, see that ramp, run right at it and try to take off. flap your wings really hard ok?” scootaloo: eyes narrowed “can do” scootaloo starts running and picks up speed, her facial expression is determined, she hits the ramp and then just face plants off the edge. scootaloo:”...ow” rainbow dash rolls her eyes. screen fades rainbow dash: “ ok, maybe that was a bit too much on your first go. Lets start with balance.” screen zooms out and scootaloo is balancing quite well on a fence post “remember to use your wings for balance!” as soon as rainbow dash says that scootaloo starts to flap violently and falls off the fence post. rainbow dash: “ok, lets try concentration.” scene switches to scootaloo staring at the same fence post but then a butterfly lands on it and fly off and she starts following it. rainbow dash lets out a sigh and looks slightly annoyed. Then pinky pie bounces along in the background making energetic sounds. The scene switches to twilights house where rainbow dash knocks on the door and scootaloo looks dazed and asks scootaloo: “Rainbow dash, why are we here?” Rainbow dash: “well I’m really not sure how to teach you how to fly. I was wondering if twilight had some ideas, her being an egg-head and all.” Scootaloo giggles Twilight answers the door Twilight: "oh, hi Rainbow Dash , hi scootaloo. What are you guys doing here?" Rainbow Dash: "I've been trying to teach scootaloo how to fly, but we haven't had much luck." Twilight: "hmm, well I'll see what I can do. When I first got my wings I read several books on the subject! And..." Interrupted by Rainbow Dash Rainbow Dash:"ugh! We have no time for that! C'mon scootaloo!" Dragging scootaloo by her tail (twilight just looks confused) pinky pie bounces past in the background still making weird noises. Scene switches to the top of a hill where Rainbow Dash has a go kart. Rainbow Dash: "ok, new approach. Get in the kart" scootaloo gets in the kart "and now I'm going to push you and you jump out at the last second and fly!" Scootaloo: "err, I'm not sure that'll work Rainbow Dash..." Rainbow Dash:" scootaloo, who's in the wonder bolts academy?" Scootaloo: "you are..." Rainbow Dash: "who's the only pony in EQUESTIA to pull off a sonic rainboom?" Scootaloo: "you are..." Rainbow Dash: "so I'm pretty sure this'll work! READY!?" Scootaloo: "errr, not really..." Rainbow Dash: "great! 3, 2, 1 GO!" It starts off good but then she picks up too much speed and can't jump out. Scootaloo: "RAAAAIIIIIINBOOOOOW DAAAAAAAASH!!!!" Rainbow Dash: "...uh oh" Rarity walks out of carousel boutique wearing her newest white gown. Rarity: "oh opal, isn't this french haute couture White gown just marvelous! I simply can't wait to show it to the gals!" At that point the go kart shoots by and covers her in dust. Rarity panicky says. Rarity: "AHHHHHH... no, no, it's still fixable!" Pinky pie bounces by and splashes her with mud and opal hides inside the gown. Rainbow Dash flies past Rainbow Dash: "HI RARITY, SORRY RARITY!" Opal falls out of the dress and rips it. Rarity, completely stunned over her bad luck, then falls over with a blank expression. Scootaloo then zooms through town. Whilst rainbow dash try's to keep up with her. Rainbow Dash grabs onto the back of the kart and digs her hooves into the ground but the karts going too fast. Apple jack then realizes the go kart is heading right for her apple cart Apple jack: “In the name of cylestia!” then runs head on at it. She then turns round and bucks the kart Apple jack: “hold on now scootaloo!” (bucks go kart) leaving scootaloo safe, but sending Rainbow Dash flying into her apple cart. Apple jack: "y'all alright scootaloo?" Scootaloo: "yeah I'm alright but I'm not sure about your apple cart" Apple jack: "Rainbow Dash! You broke ol'sally!" Rainbow dash emerging out of the pile of apples with her hair messy, sunglasses crooked and with an apple in her mouth looking quite unimpressed. Rainbow Dash: spits out the apple "well I wouldn't have if you didn’t kick the go kart! I had everything under control!" Apple jack, now caressing the broken apple stand says Apple jack: "no you didn't rainbow! now help me fix ma cart!" Scootaloo feeling very guilty now gets out of the kart takes her helmet off and talks to Apple bloom . Scootaloo: sad "hi apple bloom. Sorry about your kart." Apple bloom: "that's alright scootaloo, it wasn't your fault. We can always fix it and get all the parts, 'cause its brand new! So I have no idea why Apple jack keeps call'n it "ol'sally"..." Scootaloo: "then why do I feel like its my fault? Maybe I should just give up on trying to fly..." Pinky pie bounces past in the background. Apple bloom: "no ya shouldn't scootaloo! never give up! I'm sure if you put your mind to it you can do it" song: Apple bloom: “scootaloo, you’ve picked a hard thing to do. There’s no point unless you’re try’n, you shouldn’t be scared of fly’n. Ever think you’re go’n about it the wrong way?” scootaloo: “But I wana fly, with no delay!” Apple bloom: “Don’t give up you’ll overcome it, Don’t give up you can’t quit now, Don’t give up you’ll get through it, don’t give up you’ll handle it somehow. so, don’t give up you can do it! Apple bloom: “scootaloo you gotta stop feel’n down! scootaloo: “but every time I try to fly I just end up hitting the ground” Apple bloom: “That’s not the way to look at things, so let’s turn the frown upside down!” Apple bloom: “Don’t give up you’ll overcome it, Don’t give up you can’t quit now, Don’t give up you’ll get through it, don’t give up you’ll handle it somehow. so, don’t give up you can do it! Apple bloom: “I believe in you scootaloo, and you should too. try ya best, keep ya head held high just stick to it, and don’t be shy! scootaloo: “Don’t give up I will overcome it. Apple bloom: “there ya go!” scootaloo: “Don’t give up I can’t quit now, Don’t give up I will get through it. both Apple bloom and scootaloo: “don’t give up you’ll/I’ll handle it somehow. so, don’t give up you/I can do it! Scootaloo: a lot happier "you're right apple bloom!" Rainbow Dash having now fixed the kart. Rainbow Dash: slightly annoyed "okay, happy now, apple jack? I fixed your kart. c'mon scootaloo." Apple jack: slightly proud and cocky “ y’all come back now, ya hear?!” Rainbow Dash Drags scootaloo away by her tail. Apple bloom: obliviously happy "bye scootaloo! See ya later!" Scene switches to Rainbow Dash sitting under a tree (S1E12) with scootaloo going through her notes on ways to help her learn to fly. Rainbow Dash: “hmm… let’s see now… tried that… tried that…” scootaloo: “ Rainbow Dash, we’ve done all these, I think it’s time to try something different. and isn’t this scene a bit over played?” Rainbow Dash: “now that you mention it I think I did something with apple bloom just like this a couple months ago… Any way, if you think you’re ready, we could try… (zooms in close on face) “project mega launch!”” pinky pie bounces by in the background in the small letter box format that that’s surrounding Rainbow Dashes eyes. scootaloo is now in a catapult looking really nervous. scootaloo: “Rainbow Dash, This seems even worse than the go kart idea.” Rainbow Dash: “you just gotta trust me scootaloo!” scootaloo: “no, I really don’t think this’ll work… I’m not even sure that another song could prep me up enough to try this…” Rainbow Dash looks slightly annoyed then quickly says “ 3,2,1 GO!” Rainbow Dash pulls the lever and sends scootaloo flying… she was screaming as she was flying through the air and rainbow dash was screaming Rainbow Dash: “USE YOUR WINGS! USE YOUR WINGS!!!” scootaloo still scared out of her mind looks from side and spreads out her wings. all of a sudden the caffeinated pinky pie jumps directly in the way of the out of control flying scootaloo. scootaloo screams and flaps her wings as hard as she can to stop herself from hitting pinky pie, and all of a sudden, she closes her eyes and she stops. Rainbow Dash: “scoo… scootaloo! YOU’RE FLYING” scootaloo opens her eyes to find that she’s flapping her wings just enough to keep her from touching the ground. scootaloo: “I… I am! Oh my gosh! Thank you so much Dashie!” scootaloo tries to do a backflip but face plants scootaloo: “ok, maybe I should take it slow” Rainbow Dash and scootaloo burst out laughing pinky pie bounces along in the background The scene changes to Rainbow Dashes house where scootaloo is sitting on the floor. scootaloo: “ Dear princess celestia, Today I learned that you should never give up on trying to learn something just because you think you can’t. But as long as you have good friends and a good mentor anything is possible!” Rainbow Dash: “and thanks to my amazing teacher “RAINBOW DASH” I was able to…” scootaloo: “rainbow dash!” Rainbow Dash: “sorry” scootaloo: “As Long as you have a positive attitude and a stick-to-it-ness you can learn anything.” scootaloo then flies out the door and down to her scooter where she puts on her helmet and skates home.
