to be fair, a gun theoretically could shoot in space, modern bullets are air tight and have their own oxidizers and they would go in a straight line, since theres no air, theres no aerodynamic principles, no gravity or anything, they would go in a straight unending line

They don't realize that the bullying is happening RIGHT THEN. Walking away to get "help" would do absolutely nothing. By the time you actually find a someone who is free to help you the situation could either be over or much, much worse. I'm happy you stood up for your friend cause many times people don't and it's really saddening.

Thank you my school is kinda like if you are a guy you have to fight or have your bones broken and the teachers wont care for longer than a day

My school brutally punished people equally when it comes to fights, regardless of whether or not you been actually bullied. A former state representative and teacher was wounded and later died in efforts to break up a fight between two students where I went. Fighting was just fighting, no matter its reasons for starting... I'm surprised your school has a anti-bullying policy.
