You should get some of Tony Levin's Funk Fingers. Might take a bit of getting used to.

^3^ That's an adorable pick Phoenix... But I do use picks, you see though, most of the time bass guitars are played with only your right index and middle fingers, as it is actually easier in most cases to play "fingered bass" instead of picked... It really is kind of a "style" thing once you get right down to it... :/
