Furthermore, a society that decides its own morals will eventually collapse do to the corruption of human nature. For example: Take two people groups. Christians and Atheists. Christians go based on the Bible's morals and standards on how to live your life by letting the Bible dictate what is right and what is wrong. Atheists go based on whatever they want. "Choose your own morals" as they would say. It is not healthy for a person to dictate what is right and what wrong by his prospective. If I think killing is ok by what atheists believe that's ok because I have chosen my own morals. Of course that would be wrong... if you had a book to tell you so, but keep on deciding your own morals and see the destructive path it leads you down. My personal opinion is that it's quite barbaric to do what you "feel" is right and ok. I have chosen a guide for my life.

I thought with atheism there is no morals.And you got it backwards. Many religions come off of Christianity. Christianity didn't really copy any religion.

Tell us what makes you happy! It can be anything! Just state it! Remember to love and tolerate! :-)

Honestly, I was at one point deciding whether to believe in evolution or creationism. I picked creationism because in my mind even though it wasn't scientifically possible it was more possible than evolution do to the research I've done on it. I rather have a belief that has a clear beginning than one that is not clear at all. Richard Dawkins said in the documentary "Expelled" that possibly the Big Bang was started by another intelligent life that came from an evolutionary basis. I immediately burst out laughing and so did everyone else. I will never believe something that I view as ridiculous and immpossible. I'll stick to my Bible, thank you very much.

I honestly believe what I believe not because I go based on my feelings. I go based on faith. I know for a fact I can't always get what I want. I wish hell weren't in my religion, but I can't simply just "rule it out" because I don't like it. To me, it's there whether I like it or not.

Naw it's fine.I rather not debate about these issues anyway. I respect your opinion, but I just don't want to argue about it.

Btw if you're starting to doubt your faith, don't be!There is many archeological evidence that supports Christianity and the events within the Bible. God to me has his reasons for doing what he does.He acts different in the Old Testiment than the New. I consider everything God does to be just though.

I would suggest talking to your pastor or go on a daily schedule of reading the Bible.

I talked to my pastor and he said that you need to read more of God's Word (the Bible). So I did and I prayed to him. Eventually I felt like I was closer to God. I don't know how to explain, but I just did.

I've felt that way at times.Not anymore though.

Hmm... that does seem a bit out there, but I'm a Binle Believing Literialist. Which means I take the Bible literally how it is worded. I would have to say that God somehow made the whale's insides habitable somehow. I believe through God anything is possible. So I do not doubt really anything in the Bible. But if you feel like there are some parts that you feel aren't possible I can respect that. :-)

I don't wish for people to debate on this thread.I just want them to tell there religion.

I'm a Christian. I have no problem saying that. Respect each other's opinions and love and tolerate! :-) You cannot influence, argue, or make suggestions to people for the sake of keeping the peace.
