  1. Also, like I just posted on Twitter, I'd like to start a guessing game as to which FOUR characters from popular media are going to be represented in my panel. This is just a little fun thing I'd like to do, but basically? I want to see how well some people know popular culture, science fiction, and other media.
  2. If my information is correct, in two weeks, we SHOULD have the BronyCAN schedule. DIS GUN BE GUD.
  3. BronyCAN is a Canadian convention held in Richmond, BC, Canada at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel. It prides itself on being the most "daft" convention of all.
  4. AFAIK, I might be helping out with another panel besides my own, and maybe a third. I don't know. But, hey, I want to see if I can get something 3d printed.
  5. Two panels? You're being rather ambitious. The selfies, though? That'll be fairly easy. At the Microsoft store in Metrotown mall, there's a 3d printer. Otherwise: I have a single panel. Goal: Try not to be uninteresting. Also kick ass at Lazer Tag. Eat something amazing. Run around town with a bunch of people like the guys in "The Band of the Bold."
  6. ... Anyways, less than two months, mates! This is going to be LEGEN - and I hope you're not lactose intolerant, because the second part of that is DARY!
  7. It is Canada Day, and I am resisting QUITE HEAVILY the urge to sing The War of 1812 by Arrogant Worms. Anyways, Selfie, what is best in life?
  8. Hirsan let his hoof slide off the pommel of Sacrifice, his hoof slowly falling to his sidearm as he stared down the one he wished he never wanted to see in the flesh. "Grand Chancellor Ventus of the Nine, or is it just Chancellor Ventus now? I left behind my rank years ago, and yet here you are, clinging to old traditions, old wounds, and dying hatred." As he spoke, from behind Ventus stepped a darker pony, the one Hirsan had recalled a while before. Shiran stepped out, his grin filled with malice. "The world will freeze, Hirsan. War will stop, fighting will stop. ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU WANTED?!"
  9. Hirsan slowly climbed up the rope, swinging to and fro in the heavy wind that buffeted against him. As he hauled himself up, he held up his hoof, waiting to catch his breath before he responded. "The problem is this airship. We have to take it down. Unfortunately, we also have to take down whoever passes for the leader. Now that we're up here, it may not be as clear-cut as before. Phoenix, Skytracker, you two head towards the engines. I will deal with whoever is leading this." His squad looked at him in surprise, before he raised his hoof again. "Some of you barely know me, but this isn't the first time that I have had to destroy something and leave it behind. Nor will it be the last. We have to survive long enough to bring the final peace to Canterlot, and I don't mean death! So, no pony is coming with me. This is something I must do on my own." He gripped a knife in his teeth, checking the doorway before galloping away. "Something that I have to atone for." ----|0|---- Down on the ground, Deadwood and his forces continued to hold, the unicorns in the group doing their best to defend against the pandemonium caused by the onslaught of pony-sized shells. Rifles shot out their reports, cannons boomed, and explosives slammed against the walls of Canterlot, but he refused to back down. "If one of us falls, ten more will take his place! It may not be glorious, it may not be good for our health, but by Celestia, we will not fall this day! Hold the line, stallions! Hold! The! Line!"
  10. Hirsan swallowed, staring up at the airship in fear. With a steely expression, his hoof pressed the activation switch, his eyes never leaving the great airship. Gulping, he looked at his friends, his other hoof idling rubbing the pommel of Sacrifice. "We've got 10 seconds until the launch! If anypony wants to back out, unfortunately, you lost your chance when I hit the button!" Hirsan planted himself, silently sending a prayer to the Shaper as he prepared himself. With a click, the gears spun, Hirsan launching at the head of the group. "Hold on!" ----|0|---- Aboard the airship, the airship Retribution prepared to fire. Canyon Military patrolled every nook and cranny, making sure no stowaways had made it onboard. With a smile, the gunnery crews blasted the ground below, shells decimating the ground troops. However, had anypony been able to hear anything besides the heavy cannon, they would have heard several swearing ponies as they slammed into an open Gyrocopter bay, all of them gripping a railing as Hirsan dangled outside, trying to climb up.
  11. For those of you waiting for art from me, wait a bit longer. I'm doing some... re-evaluation of my life, not in regards to the fandom, but in regards to something rather BIG for me. I hope you all can understand that I'll re-open the request shop soon, and I'll be able to do the art I promised to the people I still have in my list.
  12. It's time to re-evaluate everything, get my life back on track. As well as my sleep schedule that's in absolute shambles.

    1. Ironwood

      Ironwood

I wish you the best of luck in that. :)

  13. I have to re-evaluate my entire life. Right now, I'm starting with small stuff, but this time, I'm going to follow through with things I say I will do. Dare to Inspire.
  14. I was trying to apologize. I've had it happen before where I accidentally insulted someone, and then a lot of bad things started happening. That sort of experience... I'd never like to have it again. I wasn't trying to win back your opinion, I was just trying to at least salvage a situation that I had almost irrevocably destroyed, due to idiocy on my part. Thank you, by the way. I mean it. Seriously, thank you.
  15. I will once more profusely apologize. If I knew where my digital camera was, I'd record a physical apology. I work 40 hours a week, and my workplace was supremely understaffed. I barely remember the week, and my response was incredibly insensitive of me. I apologize once more, as I did not mean to be less than I am.
  16. Sorry. I was at work. I don't even remember typing that response.
  17. Cool. According to the information I have, we should be seeing the schedule next month.
  18. As it appears I have been left behind once more, is there someone out there somewhere who might be able to make my drawing into a vector that can then be used to print t-shirts? If you need each individual layer from the original image, I can get those for you. EDIT: What is wrong with me? I don't even remember typing this out.
  19. Also, in regards to the colours? The tan was a sort of stand-in due to the fact that I could not remember what colour I wanted the blasted "circles" to be. The symbols are coloured with the closest approximations as I could get to the elements of harmony.
  20. I accidentally applied filters to the symbols while working on the picture, so I'm looking for a vector (The one with the points that can be moved for the company purposes - aka, for the t-shirt printers) so that the job goes smoothly. I don't have the necessary programs at this time for the specific stuff (Experienced. That is not me), but I would prefer the crisp lines back instead of my weird wavy lines. I thank you for your offer, Crystal Vision. I am glad you are willing to try.

    request Need a Vector!

So, I'm attempting to get a custom t-shirt design printed, and there's one problem. The image editing software I use, GIMP, is a pixmap editor. Why is this significant? You can't export editable vector graphics from a pixmap editor. The design is known as the "Harmony Array." I drew it up quickly at work one day: and then scanned it in, and made THIS: What I need is someone to go over this in a vector graphics program, if possible, and make it usable by the t-shirt printing place?
  22. I've got myself and two friends in a room at the Quality Inn across the street. QI is superior to Executive in the fact that it has free breakfast.
  23. So, if anyone's been following the BronyCAN Twitter, a bit ago, they suggested a Lan Battle sort of thing. Me being me, I've realized that the unfortunate problem of that is that hotel internet really sucks, so maybe we could all come up with a list of games that can be shared easily AND played offline?
  24. Hirsan smiled as he looked at his friends. "We don't have a lot of time, now, so I'll make this brief. We have to crowd together on this contraption. Unfortunately, that means we also have to link up with each other with rope. If you miss your landing window, do not panic! If you are linked still, you will be able to be hauled up by a teammate! Now, everypony! Link up and get on!"
  25. I spent a year in what is colloquially known as the Lower Mainland. If you're arriving early on the 18th, I'm (hopefully) going to be meeting up with early arrivers for Lazer Tag at Planet Lazer at the Riverport Entertainment Complex (They have a make-your-own-sundae ice cream bar there.) Also, just looked back, and my replies were before I had any idea who you are. It's rather funny, but unless I've met someone in real life (Met Immatoonlink AKA Viva Reverie last year, played Smash Bros on a team with him, we kicked ass. Shook BlackGryph0n's hand, introduced him to Toonlink.) I don't really remember them so much. Heck, if it wasn't for the fact I follow Bronies React, I would have not been introduced to a lot of the "community people" I have been because of it. So, yeah. I'm hopefully going to have a new camera (Old one was tough, but alkalines only go so far), or else I'm taking the Beefy McBeeferton that is my Canon Powershot A670.
