  1. I'm more concerned about how it will feel as a road surface. Is it a completely smooth surface, or will I feel every panel joint? What will traction be like? How will weather conditions effect it? It could be heated so that in icy conditions it thaws itself out. Will I need new tires more often or less often? Will I need to change my tire compound? It's such a different surface from tarmac, I'm just not sure how it would work.
  2. BUCK is held in Manchester because it's a fairly central part of the UK, so it's reasonably fair for everyone then. Ponycon is held in Leicester for the same reason, but is probably cheaper for venues there too. Bronyscot is in Edinburgh, because in Scotland there's like a choice of two cities, really. London is too far south for a majority of the UK fandom to travel, and the pub meets there tend to be quite large anyway.
  3. I've been playing Forza 4 near enough every day for what must be three years now, and Forza 3 for a good two years before that. So many cars, so many tracks, so many series. I think I've logged something like 300 days just in the Forza 4 paintshop. Mad.
  4. Yeah, I'll probably be going to BUCK. Last year was great, regardless of the fact I got drunk and told Michelle Creber that I was her.
  5. I would, but it's the same weekend as Bronyscot. Ponycon is closer to me, but I know that Bronyscot is more focused around the community rather than merch, and I know the guy organising it, so y'know.
  6. This was my babby, she blew up, defied physics, drove all the way to Le Mans and back, became a race car, blew up a second time, was seen in a MightyCarMods video AND inspired me to start Steedhunters, and then I sold her. I promised myself I'd buy her back one day. This is my new babby, though. 2010 RenaultSport Clio III 200. French car, Japanese platform, British owned. It's built on the same platform as the Nissan Cube, but under that French bodywork is stiffened suspension, wider tires, Brembo brakes, and a 2.0L naturally aspirated 4-Cyl producing 197BHP, which is about 170HP/tonne. 0-60 comes in at about 6.7s, making it quicker than a mk6 Golf GTI. It's also prettier than a Golf, rarer than a Golf and louder than a Golf. She's been on a few adventures herself, including the Steedhunters meet at Silverstone, and if all goes to plan, she should be doing some rounds of the states next year, where she would be one of the most exclusive cars in the country.
