Snow Frostflame

Well it may not be "I'm gonna summon satin hardcore" but I do love Escape The Day's Into Inception album, this being my favorite from the album. best weapon? (Can be real or fictional)

The deeper parts of Everfree made it harder to see, but Frostflame was still jumping over plants, and other obstacles. He eventually climbed up a tree and began jumping around the branches. He could hear the slashing of something in the distance, he figured it was Draco giving away his position. Frostflame began circling back towards Draco, but trying to stay out of his path. Once in position he saw Draco clearly, as he prepared to strike he noticed something in the trees. He looked back once more, and it was gone. "Its not important" he thought to himself. He could easily kill him, but he wasn't going to, instead he leaps down and pounces on him, immediately trying to restrain him.

"Alright then, let's see you start a family, and have some friends while your at it. I'm sure your enemies won't harm them to lure you out, you thick headed, arrogant jackass!" Frostflame sighs and turns away "I've been friendly to you for the most part, I've extended my hoof to you several times only for you to spit in my face. Do you really think yourself so high and mighty you can treat me like this?" Frostflame pauses and reaches into his satchel "Let me show you kid... when you piss of the wrong people!" He quickly turns around and throws a flash bomb at Draco's feet before running into the forest.

"Sheath your weapon, I won't fight you... I need you, we cannot win this without your combined power... nor can you without mine." Frostflame moves his hoof from his hilt and his tone changes softer again. "I'm alone because I chose to be, when you're someone like me lots of people want you dead. Whether it be vengeance, fame, or they seek my fortune."

Frostflame puts his hoof on his hilt "I told you I'm twice your age, child. And by scavenge I mean I scavenge temples, rob ponies, search uncharted islands, take contracts, the whole nine yards. I've been called many things, a thief, a pirate, an assassin, a criminal..." Frostflame narrowed his eye towards Draco "Then so be it, I'll allow it to consume me, if it means I bring justice to my family name! Once you've had your son taken from you, then you'll realize I don't sound so petty!"

"I don't care how much your guildies lost, nor am I clinging to the past. I only tell you my woes because you asked." Frostflame pauses "Vengeance is what drives me, to do the things I do. Sure you can call me edgy, but upon my mountain of gold, and power a unicorn only dreams of obtaining, do you really think I care?" Frostflame turned around facing Draco. "As for your diamond question, I do not. I'm not interesting in crafting what I can easily scavenge." Frostflame approaches Draco "But let's here what ever analogy you're about to use."

@dragon4111 "You've never experienced loss, like I have" Frostflame pauses for a moment. "I'm no hero, far from it, I've robbed ponies of their belongings and lives if needed, but my family did not deserve this." Frostflame pauses once more "I use to run with a gang of assassins and outlaws north of Whitetail, known as the Shadow Lurkers. Its how I made my fortune and name in Equestria. Though when my wife had our son... when I looked into his eyes I knew it was time to stop adventuring. So I abandoned my gang, and built a home out in Unicorn Range. Eight years passed, and they found me... wanting to punish me for leaving them. I defended my home to the best of my ability, but there were too many of them. I was fatally wounded, but that wasn't enough for them. They began... to burn my house. My son would have been around your age, had he survived." Frostflame plucks some grass and watches as the wind blows it away. "Time passed, I recovered, and I got my revenge, but it still won't bring them back. Had I known this is what they would of done, I'd of never join them." Frostflame pulls out a pocket watch, on one side is a photograph of his family, he then puts it back away. "Though you probably don't care about my stories." Frostflame gets up to retrieve his sword, keeping it in its sheath. "And I don't expect you to, I'm just answering your question."

Frostflame opened his eye when he heard someone approach "Draco, you took your sweet time." He stayed sitting, facing away from him "This old mare may be powerful, but she's foolish. She sends a courier to fight a skilled assassin, though... I don't want to fight you. So I'll give you the choice, either stand against me, and die like all who had before you, or sit with me and we can talk this out." Frostflame pauses "You wanted to know why I'm like this, why I don't care for anyone, and why I sound grim at times." Frostflame unhooks his sheath and tosses it to the side. "I will tell you, come closer, take a seat."

Lets see... I dressed up in my Jason Voorhees costume and scared some kids. I stayed in character the whole night, and made some kids skip my house, and made the night for other kids. I feel I may of made some Friday The 13th fans that night.

@dragon4111 Frostflame realized that Draco wasn't coming, but proceeded to wander the forest alone anyways. Cutting down any bit of vegetation getting in his way with his sword. All he could think about was how Tricis managed to figure him out. Tired of cutting down vines and branches he climbed up a tree, and began jumping from tree to tree, before coming across a clearing. He sat in the middle of it, and listened to his surroundings, before attempting to channel his magic.

@Dynamo Pad @Unicorncob @dragon4111 "This doesn't make any sense, my cryomancy is on par with an arch mage... why would I internally feel I'am not strong enough... perhaps..." Frostflame had a few more flashbacks "never mind, if you say it'll return then I will rely on my other skills." @dragon4111 @Unicorncob @Dynamo Pad Frostflame's heart skipped a beat... "no way she could of possibly known. I'am Snow Frostflame in every way, from attire, to fighting style, I even got his dialect. She didn't seem to recognize me day one, how is she able to know so much in just two days!?!" Frostflame's thoughts raced. "I can't kill her, otherwise I forfeit my freedom, but I can't have her telling people my identity" Frostflame exhales in frustration "Draco, wake up, we're doing this now!" he said in a booming voice, and just wanders into the forest without looking back at Tricis. "This is not over" he thought to himself.

@Dynamo Pad @dragon4111 @Unicorncob @reader8363 Frostflame didn't even remember falling asleep, he woke up with his attire still on, though his hat fell off and sheath came undone. He brushed his mane, and put the rest of his attire together. Frostflame wasn't too confident about his chances, now that he couldn't cast... but he was still a skilled swordspony, and he knew some hoof to hoof combat if it ever comes down to it. As he walked to unlock his door he remembered he'd have to be fighting Draco "such a waste of time" He thought. But still, if there was any chance at teaching this kid discipline it would be now. Frostflame walked out of his room and headed out towards Tricis, and Jade.

@reader8363 @Unicorncob @dragon4111 @Dynamo Pad "No" Frostflame objects "there has to be another way, maybe get a potion, or find a healer, or doctor, or something... anything is better than sending her out to fight some skilled combatant while injured." Frostflame sighs "A clean sweep doesn't sound very likely, given our circumstances, and she's no good to us dead." "You still expect me to fight O'mally without my magic? At this point I'm just a swordspony, if he does that tornado bullshit..." Frostflame pauses, and then just nods his head to Tricis. "Very well, but I don't know what this will prove." Frostflame walks away from the others to his room "Just a waste of our time and energy." Once there he locks the door, and tries channeling his magic, but to no avail. Frostflame didn't show fear to his allies, but his lack of power terrifies him. He lied down on his bed and stared at the ceiling. "What is happening to me?"

@dragon4111 @Dynamo Pad @reader8363 @Unicorncob Frostflame ignored their concerns about him, walked towards Rose, and silently examined her wounds. She didn't look like she was in critical condition, but he knew her injuries are bad enough to where she wouldn't be fighting for awhile. He thought about what Dynamo had said, and thought about what Nin had said a bit earlier. "They want us all dead, and will do anything to ensure it." He thought to himself. Frostflame still doesn't care for his team, but this is dirty and honorless, even for someone like him. "If the kid hadn't found her, she'd be lost to the forest, they'll do anything to ensure we don't win... even kill us." He said out loud to his team. "They tried to kill Dynamo, they did this to Rose, and they visited me and Draco not too long ago. They did something to me, I've felt weak ever since our first fight, like something was syphoning..." Frostflame stopped mid sentence and tried casting a ice shard at the wall... but only mist came out. He tried casting an ice wall, but more mist... he finally tried casting a frostflame, but as he did it exploded in his face, not enough to cause damage but enough to knock him to the ground. He sat up on the floor, looking up at his allies "I can't cast anymore".

@dragon4111 Frostflame lied on the floor, trying to wrap his mind around what just happened. He managed to hear bits and pieces of Nin's threat, but most of it sounded distorted. Eventually he came to his senses, and got up from the floor. "That... that was very unusual." He stared at Draco "I'm getting old, but not that old..." He paused for a moment "Something isn't right, they did something to me! I don't know what, but what ever it is I'll make them pay for it!" Frostflame reached down and picked up his hat. "What did they say to you, Draco? You looked pretty upset about something."

@dragon4111 Frostflame felt weak again, but shrugged it off. It felt like it was getting worse. "Ah, come now my friend... was damaging the wall really necessary?" Frostflame says in a displeased tone. He then casts a frostflame in his right hoof, and plays around with it as he speaks to Nin. "Sure I'm afraid, any mortal knows fear... but those who suppress their fears, an.... and...." midway through his sentence, he became dazed for seemingly no reason. The flame he was holding went out like a candle, and he fell backwards, staring at the ceiling.

"Greetings" Frostflame politely bowed "And what do we owe this unexpected visit to our room?" He said in a slightly posh tone, starting back with a blank expression. Frostflame went back to the table and put his hat back on, as he did he turned back to Draco and gestured something out of Nin and Onyx's view. It went along the lines of, don't do anything stupid. He turned back to Nin and Onyx, "You would be right to assume we aren't a team, well a functional team I should say. Tis what happens when some of us are here against our will." Frostflame takes a seat. "Have a seat."

I was gonna scare people, but I had to get a new job so its very iffy. I'm hoping I can get the night off and scare some kids with my Jason Voorhees costume.

"Where to begin" Frostflame points to White tale Woods "I use to be part of an organization there, until... let's just say, things happened." He then points to Canterlot "I'm pretty sure everyone has gone there at one point in their lives. That is where I learned the ways of magic, though I never went to Celestia's school, I was poor and went to a smaller magic school. There I learned the basics of magic, but left to do independent studies on cryomancy." He then points to the Everfree Forest "Dangerous, which is why who ever thought to build a hotel and arena here is a genius, and an idiot. My sword was built with a special type of ore only found here. An ore so powerful, if forged right it could harm those who were thought to be immortal, hence its name "Immortal's Bane". It was built by my great great grandfather, a master blacksmith, and enchanted by my great grandmother." Frostflame glances over the map again, and points to the Forbidden Jungle, and the Badlands "These places are arguably more dangerous than the Everfree, one is full of infectious bugs, poisonous animals, and other dangers. While the other is a hot spot for dragons, though both of 'em are ripe with treasure if you know where to look, and who to sell to." Frostflame says as he pulls a small ruby from his satchel. "Let's see, I've also been here, here, here, here, and there" He says as he points to the remaining major cities in Equestria. "Nothing too special comes to mind, Las Pegasus is a death trap for your coin, while Manehatten is a nice tourist trap. As for where I haven't gone" He points to the Dragon Lair, the land of Griffonstone, and Yakyakistan. "Not many opportunities in those places, and I'm not looking to get eaten by a dragon, no matter how tempting it is to steal their treasures." Frostflame then points at the South Luna Ocean "Lots of uncharted islands there, perfect places to hunt for treasure... or build a vacation home." He jokingly says.
