  1. "So then it seems we're at an impasse, we both need to have complete trust in one another for this to work." He pondered his options, while listening to Cosmic. "So then it seems we all want something out of this, and you can ensure my freedom?" Frostflame walked back to his sword, and put it in its sheath, and with it his hat came back to him. He moved out of the way of Cosmic's attack, unsure of what just happened but he began to follow his new allies. They seemed more capable of fighting than his current allies, Frostflame thought to himself... he turned to Cosmic. "Cosmic, you have a deal... but betray me and I'll make everyone involved regret it." Frostflame stuck out his hoof.
  2. Thanks for helping me complete my collection.

of course dude, everyone needs some rupees

So far I'm really enjoying this event. Going on a hunt for hidden ruppes, and answering hard trivia questions about a game I love. I'm actually going to go back and replay the Master Quest, something I haven't done in almost a decade because of this event. There are several versions of the game. The original for the N64 came out in 1998, then a port for the Game Cube came later along with the Master Quest. Then in 2011 we got the remaster for the 3DS.
  4. Two more rupees to go... I have an idea of how to obtain a purple, but don't know how it works per say. As for red, I'm clueless... but that's never stopped me, I'll figure it out eventually and complete my collection.

So much for being clueless. :P All that's left is purple.

Very first clue in the Rupee Hunt thread is for the Red one, iirc

Its a tricky one, but I managed to figure it out the red one already. The purple one is all that's left, and I know what has to happen, but I don't know how to make it happen.

Yeah. I have one myself, but no idea how that works...

  5. Mario Party needs no introduction, it is one of the greatest party games of all time, and most people have played at least one of them. That being said which is your favorite and least favorite mini games from the series? Give as much detail, or no detail as you'd like. Most of my picks... if not all are GCN titles, since I played the GCN Mario Parties more than N64 and Wii. Favorites -Dungeon Duos -Hotel Goomba -Mario Mechs -Long Claw of The Law -Booksquirm -Team Treasure Trek -Snow Brawl -Tricky Tires -Ghost in The Hall As for least favorite -Pop Star -Clean Team -Makin' Waves -Hop or Pop -Chain Chomp Fever -Bubble Brawl -Bowser's Lovely Lift -All mic mini games
  6. Frostflame turned his sword over, and pierced the ground, a sign of truce. He walked over to the two "Now this is what I like, a group of ponies who can act civilized, not all conflict needs to be decided by the blade." Frostflame pondered over what they said. "So you want me to assist in the death of one of my allies, then you expect me to trust you guys, and forfeit the tournament." Frostflame paces back and forth "Now I'll be honest, I couldn't care less about the prize, or wish, or even my allies. You may not know, but I'am being forced to fight, I was imprisoned by the owners and the deal was I get to go free if I win." Frostflame approaches even closer and stops "So I'm gonna need more than just your word, that you won't betray me and leave me here, or try to have me killed." Frostflame steps back "Not to mention your team isn't guaranteed to win, so we're putting a lot of this deal on chance."
  7. Not even Black Friday yet and I already got what I wanted at a pretty good price.

  8. Everyone says the Water Temple is infuriating and is the worst part of the game. I'd have to disagree, now I don't like the water temple, and especially don't like that hidden room in the bottom floor of the tower... but overall its not as complicated as people make it out to be, its no Stone Tower temple... seriously fuck Stone Tower. Now my favorite part of the story... I really can't say I have a favorite part. I've always loved exploring Hyrule, and progressing through the story, so as cheesy as it sounds the game itself is my favorite part. Though if I had to choose, I'd go with the Young Link sections. As for my least favorite part of the game... no doubt in my mind its trying to get the fourth bottle. There is a reason I set Big Poes to one on the randomizer, and anyone who has attempted to get all 10 of them knows how aggravating it can be.
  9. Frostflame ignored Cosmic's question, and simply stood up and faced him. "You're right, I underestimated you... you aren't the average run of the mill mercenary I'll give you that. Which is good, I was hoping you would fight back, but you stand before Snow Frostflame." He pulls out his sword and takes a defensive stance. "Now then, I'll give you and your friends a chance to pack your bags and leave... and let me deal with that Draco O'mally myself, or I'm taking you all down." Frostflame knew what his answer would be so he kept a sharp eye on Cosmic, waiting for his opening.
  10. Just tested Fallout 76 on the Xbox, and is it as bad as everyone says?... not really. It has a lot of assets and mechanics from Fallout 4 (my least favorite in the series) so there is little I understand about it. I don't like the perk system, and much would prefer how 3 and New Vegas did it... or hell even how 4 had their perks was okay. The graphics are garbage, but that was to be expected... Xbox One Classics aren't that good at rendering high quality graphics. FPS also took a dive at times, but nothing too noticeable. I've also been told this game is very boring when playing alone, and to that I'd have to disagree. I played for the first hour with my friend following me around, and it was fun... then he had to leave. So I played for a good 30 minutes solo, and it still felt like any other Fallout game. So no the game isn't boring when alone.

So my final opinion, the game does have its problems, but so does the Xbox One... so despite that I believe all its negative reputation is just Battlefront syndrome, where people complain about a good game being different.

  11. That was a lot of fun, OOT is my second favorite Zelda game, and is the one I'am most knowledgeable in. These were some pretty tricky questions too, especially the one about Iron Knuckles... that had my gears turning for quite a bit, and I'm still sure I got it wrong.
  12. Oh hey, 200 rupees... and now I just got 5... now all I need is 1, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 and my collection will be complete.

  13. Lot of hate towards Fallout 76, to the point where its becoming a meme. Gonna go have a look for myself and see if this game is really that bad... or if its a case of Battlefront syndrome where people whine about a game being different for views and likes.

No one plays battelfront games for lore, graphics don't matter at all, and I completely disagree about the fun gameplay. The servers were constantly unstable, there was no way for you to make a difference in battles because the team sizes were too large, and the progression was completely unbalanced (Because it was designed for lootboxes).

    3. Snow Frostflame

      Snow Frostflame

Ah nope, progression was perfectly fine before people started complaining. Lootboxes were removed before launch, but people still kept bashing the game. We had a system where you bought lootboxes with in game currency and would have a chance at gear you like, or you could scrap that shit and save up to buy the gear you like. I loved this system because it rewarded those who dedicated hours into getting good at the game. Now because people kept complaining everyone gets everything by level 30, and everyone has epic quality characters, which is bullshit.

As for servers, I've been playing since launch, and even beta... never had I experienced any problems with the server. And I play on Xbox One, which is suppose to be the worst of the consoles.

Also about making a difference, yeah one person can make a difference if skilled enough. I can recall two times I once held the entire enemy team at bay single handedly, in the first Battlefront. But that's the point of a team battle, everyone has to work together as a team, there is little room for a single hero.

We'll have to agree to disagree, because I don't think it would be productive for me to argue those points.

Anyway, Pad is waiting for you to reply when you're available, but that fight doesnt really have a time limit.

  14. Frostflame grinned, the plan worked exactly as planed... well sorta. He began creeping around the blast area to the tree Joker was hiding in, while trying to avoid Frozen's sight. Frostflame wondered whether he should straight up kill them, or let them live. Regardless he would show them what fear is, as he wasn't being hunted by them, they were being hunted by him. He crept behind the tree Joker was in, and waited for Frozen to fly away. He examined the tree, it was pretty tall and wouldn't be able to reach Joker from down here, but if he climbed it he risked being caught. Frostflame turned around and noticed another tree, nearly as tall, but tall enough to where he can reach Joker. He began to climb that one, careful not to make too much noise. Once in position he could see Joker's back and tail peaking out from the other side of the tree. Frostflame reached for his sword, but then changed his mind, he searched for a branch he could use to get closer, and eventually he was behind him, but at a distance. He looked around the forest for a bit, and without warning he dived towards Joker knocking them both out of the tree, and into the bushes. Frostflame didn't want to give Joker a chance to realize what had happened, and got on top of him, with one hoof he covered Joker's mouth, and the other he kept around his neck. He said softly "Rule number one of hunting, never give away your location." He kept him pinned down, and would hit Joker occasionally to break his concentration, last thing he wanted was a laser to the face.
  15. Oh hey a gif banner... can't say I've seen one of those in the four years I've been here.

I've been here for six years and I havent seen one.

  16. Frostflame charged on through the forest, cutting any vegetation in his way, but his run slowly turned into a jog, then he began crawling through the plants. "Its too quiet" he thought to himself. He looked around and saw nothing, so he came up with a plan. He took a stick and buried it slightly so it stood up, he then took off his hat and placed it on the stick, and had it peaking just outside of the plants. Frostflame moved away from his hat, hoping it wouldn't be destroyed since it meant something to him, but it was either him or his hat. He waited nearby, and listened.
  17. Frostflame turned his attention away from Draco "Embarrassment?!? My magic may not have returned to me, but I don't need magic to kill a courier, and I don't need magic to spill your blood!" Frostflame stayed on his side, mostly focused on the dog, but occasionally glanced towards Draco. Frostflame noticed the laser and quickly dived out of the way... but he also noticed which way it came from this time. He looked back towards the dog, then down towards his satchel. He reached and lit another flash bomb, and without saying a word, he tossed it on the ground, running off into the direction the laser came from.
  18. Am I a good person... yes... am I as pure as a saint... no, far from it. Though it kinda depends on what you're talking about. Do I understand a lot of lewd things, yes... am I lewd as a result, no. I curse, though only for comedic effect and I refuse to drink or do drugs.
  19. I mean Apple Bloom never aged during this time, her voice actor use to be the same age as her and now she's an adult. Time doesn't work the same way in cartoons as it does it real life.
  20. Back then my original name was PonygamesFluttershy, I was the leader of a group of brony gamers known as POGM. I had one of my friends make me a custom picture for my channel, even though I don't use it anymore I still keep it.
  21. Frostflame ignored the this new figure and was focused on Draco, it wasn't until they shot something towards them he was forced to acknowledge them. Moving away from Draco he stared this dog down. "I don't care who you are or what your objective is, but Draco is my prey, so I suggest you and your allies back off while you still draw breath!" Frostflame stood back where he could see Draco and this new figure and took a defensive stance.
  22. Frostflame jumped back dodging that kick, and looked around the trees in frustration as Draco yelled at those stalking us. "This can never be easy can it... always has to be someone after my prize as well." He turns back to Draco and charges forward slashing at him with another flurry of attacks "They are the least of your concerns Draco... when this day is over I will show you why I'am feared one way or another." Frostflame continues to attack and block while talking. "You think yourself so big, no, you're nothing but a colt with a big mouth... and people say us from Canterlot are irritating... you're like a gnat, you know no bounds, and harass those around you!"
  23. @Dynamo Pad Frostflame let out a shriek of pain, and jumped back. He looked down realizing he was bleeding. "I was going to allow you to live, but it seems the conditions have changed." Frostflame pulls out his blade, Immortal's Bane, and points it towards Draco. "En garde!" The gem on Frostflame's sword begins to glow as he charges towards Draco swinging aggressively, while parrying any counter attacks, finishing off his flurry with one heavy strike to his gauntlet. Though as he was about to swing once more, he heard something which caught his attention, causing him to miss his opening. Something moving along the trees, too big to be any animal from Everfree that would be in the trees. He ignored it and focused once more on Draco.
  24. Usually I just sleep it off, but if it persists when I wake up, the pain is unbearable, or if I have to leave for work I keep some painkillers around. Though I try not to use them in fear I'll need something stronger if I rely on them.
  25. Gonna have to talk with my boss, I never got paid last week.
