CONGRATULATIONS EQUESTRIAN WARRIOR! You have been called to a distant land, deep beyond the Everfree Forrest, To participate in the first annual Dark Tournament of Equestria! You, and fifteen others of this nation's finest fighters have been given this very special invitation to join in the blood bath! Of course, in compliance with the dark tournament rules, participation is not an option for you, so get ready for the fun time of your life!

Nothing's more fun than blood and guts, but we still need guidelines to make things run smooth:

Each warrior will compete tournament style in our special bracket. Four bloody victories and you win! What do you win, you ask? You can have one wish for anything you want from our honorable tournament committee!

The fight is won when one of three criteria are met:

• The opponent is dead
• The opponent has been out of the ring for more than ten seconds
• The opponent has been on the ground and not standing for more than ten seconds (However, if your opponent is incapasitated, we encourage you to finish him/her off for the enjoyment of the fans. We musn't forget our torturing!)

AND THOSE ARE THE RULES! You may bring one of any weapon you want!

All sixteen players will be given a bracket before the tournament starts. I will have several fights going on at a time to keep things running fast. If a character doesn't respond in 48 hours, he is disqualified.

Standoff turned the corner at a light jog, and came to a stop in front of the group. "Alright, the heavy's ready. Who's this gob?" He looked at Roto, and then walked a circle around him. "Am I the only one useful in a fight here? No offense to you, you're nice." Standoff inclined his head to the mage (I have no clue what your name is, and I'm guessing it's not She)

Roto chuckled lightly at the stream of insults he had been given. He lifted his left front hoof in front of his nose. His horn glowed bright green and surrounded his leg. An extension grew out of his forehoof in the shape of a sickle blade. It was as hard as steel and as sharp as a real sword. “Why train to be the best when you can have one of these?”

“Trust is not a relative concept.” Roto said. “It is only used by those who don’t have it, it is only given to those who don’t need it.” He turned to Selune. “See how I give something I do not possess to someone who does not need it. I am Roto, mage of alteration and master of coercion. I offer to give my services in exchange for your own.”

Thought Shaper says "So it looks like we should be going now". "I just need to pack my spell books and some food and I can be off.

I am thinking of writting a journal about our story. I like to write down what happens just in case something happens to us or so i can tell the stories to my friends.

So, how does the D and D system come into play? Roto is a terrible fighter and relies mostly on trickery and manipulation. Do I have to roll dice for coersion success?

"Well, Jetstorm." Roto said rudely. "You've served your purpose and thus your usefulness is spent. This remedial task suits you. Now fly away and continue your errand. As for the rest of you, lead on, follow, or get out of the way.” He strapped his saddlebag on and tapped the ground twice.

Roto prepared a small bag with dehydrated food, water purifier, a rolled up mat and a few matches. It was lightweight and all he needed. He had no weapons and no clothes aside from his green trench coat and leather shoes.

"I've been on journeys like this before, but never with companions." he said while looking at Selune. "This should be interesting, but that is all it promises."

Roto put the button into his jacket pocket. “A halo does not have to fall far to become a noose.” He said. “My name is Roto. I specialize in the arts of alteration and coercion.” He gave a short bow and a grin. “I don’t care about your princess, but I still choose to accompany you. The deed means nothing to me, but neither does a missed opportunity.”

Before we rush off any where. I want to know what's in it for me. If what ever evil we are going to fight was powerful enough to take down luna there is a good chance we could die. So what am I going to get that's wroth risking my life for? I am not going if I don't get something out of it.

Let me tell you this... if as a unicorn mage you're getting hit by another pony you're doing something wrong with your spellcasting.

 

Easy there my friends... i understand that none of us knows each other yet and doesn't know who to trust. However we need to give each other the benefit of doubt. Now stand back a little. 

 

Edit/update:Selune starts casting a spell her horn encased within a white glow. Her eyes swirl with the same magical power as she seems to be looking into the beyond. After some time she comes back and the magic stops. It appears the princess was headed to The Crystal Empire from Canterlot. She disappeared in The Crystal Mountains, an area near the Crystal Empire. I suggest if you ponies do want to go there you get prepared. 

 

Supplies, maps, tents for lodging, tools for surviving in the wilderness everything that would help you in cases of emergency is welcome.

(I can't read the first page, so forgive me if this post is a little off.)

Roto pulled out a strange trinket from his coat pocket that seemed to be a remote carved out of stone with a single button on top. He fidgeted with it while he talked in a raspy and slightly accented voice. "I'm not trusting any of you until I'm given proof that this is worth my time."

I am so confused. What am I supposed to do right now?

What's going on in the roleplay? I was away for two days

I'm not familiar with D and D's system. Is it similiar to Epic Roleplay? Do I need to make my stats for an Oc I post?

Going to aviation camp in the fifth grade and making fun of all the fifth graders in space camp. (Problem?)

Frey stood up off his back and walked into the loby.

The engineer continued to question program. "Why did you enter the medical ward?"

"It wanted to answer a question." Said Program.

"What was the question."
 

"What makes Wind Slicer unique? He had been treated as if unique, but it did not know why."

"Did you find an answer?"

"Perhaps..."

"Explain."

"Wind Slicer spoke in falsities. His answers were insufficient. It does not have enough information to come to a valid conclusion."

"Where you told to research this?"

"No."

The engineer removed his glasses. "Then why did you do it?"

"Because it was easy to do."

(I'm gonna try to get in as much rp as I can before saturday. Some good news is that it may be 6 weeks instead of eight.)

"Yeah." Patches said in complacent agreement, not really giving it much thought.

Frey looked impressed at Sapphire's display. He had never been impressed by what someone could do with a gun before.

The old engineer with the glasses stood infront of Program with a clipboard in his hoofs. They were in one of Big Shot's garages. "I'm going to ask you a few questions regard your recent behavior." He said.

Program didn't respond.

The engineer continued, "You recently entered the medical ward without expressed permition. Is that correct?"

"Yes." Program replied quickly.

NO! You can't make me!

I acidentally System 32. Is that bad?

Sapphire shifted her weight a little bit, and aimed at the target. Firing in quick succession, it spelled out the word, "Me."

 

Delphina giggled a little at his antics and showered, going through her grooming routine. She got out and stretched some more, then met him outside the bathroom, "All set."

 

Den came through the door to his house, setting the groceries down in the kitchen. "I'm home," he called, putting the food away. "Sorry it's so late. I picked up some food while I was out."

"That's fine," Patches replied bored. He fiddled with his hoofs a little. Sitting down with nothing to do was something he had gotten used to. "I finished my homework already."

Big Shot looked at Shale and said, "I don't see the point of making that robot and keeping it locked up in the back. Do me a favor and have Gatasubal moved to the garage."

"I have to take a shower first, Nighty," she laughed, getting out of bed. Her mane was a mess, and her coat could use a brush, but she was smiling, so it was okay. She stretched, than passed.

 

"He's been watching us for a while," she said, turning and waving at Frey with a smile, then turning back to the range. "Just ignore him, he's probably bored of the police station. Admitably, there's not a lot to do around the station... Except bake bake bake!" She giggled, and went back to shooting.

Frey sat back and looked at the ceiling. 'How long do they stay here?' he thought. 'Getting late, but I got no place to go better.'

Patches put up all of his books and lied down on the couch, sighing heavily. He was bored, but at least he was done with his homework for the day. He considered getting something to eat, but decided that he wasn't hungry enough to go through all of that trouble.

(When ponies feel the need to forcefully make me come back.)

 

Sapphire was with Speedy going through a lot of ammo.

Frey didn't know what he was supposed to do, and he was tired of napping. So he walked down to the firing range and watched Sapphire and Speedy (Mostly Sapphire.)

(I'm planning on keeping Frey here until Maven and Nightfall come in.)

I'd be happy to revive it, but would need somepony to help me do so, sadly. -.- That's how it rolls sometimes; if people sign up and don't post, then even the most enthusiastic DM can't save it.

I can't remember what I was supposed to do with Jack right now, but I can keep playing if you need me.

Shale dragged in Slicer's duffle bag that he had brought all his equipment in. He set it down next to Slicer. "You can use any of your stuff, but I aint gonna be paying for anything extra." Big Shot said. "You come back to me when, and only when you can prove that Den is dead."

(He gave you a picture of Den, and told you that killing the captain wouldn't accomplish anything. It should be obvious.)

"I don't care how difficult it is." Big Shot said angrily. "I expect Den to be dead! That's why I'm paying you, and when I pay for results, I expect you to give me results!"

Slicer shrugged. "Whatever you say." He said, as the elevator shook slightly, moving up to the first floor. "So, What is it I will be doing exactly ?" He asked, flicking a dried piece of purple blood from Hellen. *Bucking demon messed up my coat.* He looked at his foreleg which was slightly ruffled. *I had it so you could see my scars.* He thought.

Big Shot lead them to his office. "I'll give this to you nice and simple." He said. "I haven't been makin' money as fast as I want to. Normally I can sell my stuff wherever I want, but the police have been growing a backbone lately and arresting all of my business associates. I want you to grab that spine and rip it right back out! Kill the captain, and they can just get a new one. But there is something they can't replace."

He took a photo from his coat pocket and handed it to Slicer. It was the photo of Den used in the police records and reports. "His name is Den, and if he were to wind up dead, my message will get across as clear as day."
