Lite turned to the crowd, a bit of a scornful glance to them as she spoke. "HUSH UP BEFORE YOU'RE NEXT!", she yelled out, before looking at Nightfall, smirking and just waiting for the ref to finish off the countdown, so she may advance to the second round by default.

The crowd quickly stopped talking all together.

"THREE... FOUR..." The young ref continued his countdown.

@, Standoff took a defensive stance, and started up his customary battle-banter. "Well, well, my reputation precedes me! I'm sorry to have to do this to one of my fans, but you happen to be in my way. It's nothing personal. By the way, that grenade is one hell of a lot faster than magic. I timed it."

"Well, now that we're talking. Let's talk about your little friend Pinkie Pie. She's just so innocent. It's a shame that you aren't there to protect her. Something bad might happen!" He pulled a small remote out of his coat pocket.

'That's it Roto!' Penny Pincher thought as he intently watched. 'Use the information I gave you. My money is counting ion it!'

Lite sighed, dusting herself off of some dust from before. She looked around the arena, smirking. She then looked up and at the announcer.

"Well, it seems my opponent has decided to forfeit! I believe that means I shall advance to the next round, correct?!"

The first arena Ref walked over to Nightfall. "Hold on! We still need a ten-count!" She said. "ONE... TWO..."

"BOO!" The audience cried. "Don't let him get away with a ten-count! Finish him off, Lite Shade!"

"Yeah! We want to see more blood!"

Slicer tried dodging the knife but it ended up cutting across his cheek...nothing serious but he looked rather angry. "Alright then. My turn." He flew ad Midnight, holding both swords in hos hooves he slashed at her neck as a distraction as he stabbed at her chest with his other sword.

"WOW! Wind Slicer looks pretty angry!" Topaz commented. "I'd hate to be Midnight right now, not that I'm opposed to pain, of course!"

Interesting... The match will start when the official starts it. Not before, not after. As for your chainsaw, There is more than one way to break a machine, she thought lously. "Computer, when the opertunity comes to break his weapon, flash the logistics on screen. Not before, and not before the match starts." Radioactive sits.

"I don't plan on letting you melt anything." He laughed, taking his place on the battlefield. "It was a good idea though." He raised his chainsaw to eye level. There were ponies. Everywhere. All thinking. Why did they all have to be thinking. To many thoughts. Damnit. He should have known this would happen. Whatever. Just concentrate on the enemies thoughts. Force everypony's thoughts out. Right. "Can we start yet?"

"Okay, you two have had way too much small talk. Start the fight!" The ref called.

Midnight Glow walked through the dark tunnel, her neon blue eyes glinting through the darkness.  She looked at the audience and saw how pumped up they were for this match. They were thirsty for blood.  She slowly walked to her bench, tossing her neon blue hair.  Her knives were strapped onto her back right thigh and were shinier and sharper than ever.  She wanted to prove since the day her parents ditched her to survive that she isn't helpless and not strong. Midnight isn't worried about her, but what she leaves behind.  She faced her opponent, Wind Slicer.  She knew something was wrong with him.  She was determined to not go down without a fight.

"And... BEGIN!" The ref of the fourth stadium ordered, starting the fight between Wind Slicer and Midnight Glow. The audience cheered for the upcoming violence.

(Holy fucking shit. I am so sorry.)

Standoff grabbed the launcher and strode after Roto, trying to gather as much as he could about his opponent's mannerisms. Roto didn't seem strong, but he was cocky and a unicorn, so Standoff was withholding judgement on that count...

"I Know about your time in ponyville." Roto said. "We all do what we must. I just hope you didn't say... get attached to one of them."

He created his forehoof blade and sliced through the air to his side. "Like, for example, be mournful of the dead!"

"OKAY, Fighters, You may begin!" The ref said.

Slicer stood up and walked out into the third stadium fighting ring, with the same crazed smiled. *They're all evil Slicer...the crowed is out to get you...they're going to kill you.* *I know...if they try anything, I will kill them. But we need to focus on the pretty mare.* He thought, walking into the center of the ring, not giving any attention to the crowed.

"Uh... Somethin' don't look right about that one... He ain't even lookin' at the ref yet." An earth pony in the audience said, pointing at Wind Slicer.

"He can fly upside down with his hoof up his ass for all I care! Where's that Midnight guy? START THE DAMN FIGHT!" Another fan screamed.

Ok, thanks! I'll enter the waiting room. Btw, she goes by Goldre and she's really, really agile. She tires out her enemies before striking. Can I use a single katana?

You sure can! It may take a while for your fight to start though, But you can socialize and watch the fights.

No need. Our Tournament Committee researchers have already found a link and added it to the bracket! You can even check out your first match!

"Radioactive Tragedy and Mao, Report to the fourth stadium floor." The speakers announced. The fourth stadium ref was much burlier and less groomed than the other refs. He was a brown earth pony with short black hair.

"And the fighters have been announced to the fourth ring as well!" Topaz said excitedly. "It's so exciting. It's almost too much to handle!"

"What's this?" Topaz's voice asked. "It looks like Light Shade has created a group of shadowy minions to do her bidding! I like this girl! Let's just hope they can bleed too, because Nightfall won't go down easily!"

The second stadium ref cowered at the base of the ring. "Damn! This is not worth sixty bits an hour!" He mumbled.

I was wondering if I could play using my newest and favorite OC, Golden Dreams. I can post her link in a minute, if you need. I've only used her once and that didn't work out so well.

I don't think Knightfall is unreasonable but I haven't looked at the other entries yet.  If you feel it is unbalanced compared to the others than I can always change it and only enter Rune Breaker before he got stuck with Knightfall.

I'd like to enter Swordpoint, my OC. He is a pegasus skilled in battle, and he uses a lance as his weapon. Also, his training as a Ponynesian royal guardian has taught him to use magic, which he channels through his wings. However, he is not terribly skilled in its arts, and his magic can sometimes backfire. And when it is successful, it has an enormous strain on his body.

"Wind Slicer And Midnight Glow, Report to the third stadium ring." The speakers called. The third stadium Referee was a white unicorn mare and the stadium was almost completely full of fans.

"Standoff. Please report to the first Ring! You are on the clock!"

The second Stadium Referee saw that both Light Shade and Nightfall were ready. "OKay fighters, Take your stances!" He said. "Aaaaand... BEGIN!" He gave a swiping hoof gesture and jumped out of the ring.

"OH BOY!" Topaz announced excitedly. "It looks like Nightfall and Light Shade are ready to spill some major blood! Don't you just love it?!?"

Hey you stole this from Yu Yu Hakusho! I remember that show so well. (Oh Nostalgia.) Oh well now im interested in joining, preferably with my OC Silver Storm. As for a weapon i'd love to see him using the wind as a weapon. (Hurricane punch'es and whatnot.) Any restrictions on that?

"Nightfall and Light Shade, Please report to the second ring." The speaker ordered.

The second ring had about half as many fans as the first one, but aside from that, it was perfectly identical. It's referee was a blue earth pony stallion who seemed to be fidgeting with his microphone.

Standoff decided to break his silence for a bit. "I commend you on your armor, but I also know that anypony accustomed to wearing the stuff thinks they're invincible. I've been studying the mechanism on your helmet, and I don't even need to stun you to be able to get it off. I just have to hold you still. Just a thought."

Topaz was handed a note by one of the tournament employees who quickly left. "Well, this is odd..." She said into her microphone. "It seems that the order has been shifted and the fight between Nightfall and Light Shade has been moved to the second seed!" She announced. "And that means the first fight will be... ROTO Versus the big stallion STANDOFF! But don't worry all you gore fans! We have four rings, and that means the other preliminary rounds will start shortly!"

A speaker in the waiting room gave the orders. "Standoff and Roto, report to the first stadium floor. Nightfall and Light Shade are on deck for the second stadium. Radioactive Tragedy and Mao are on deck for the third stadium. Wind Slicer and Midnight glow are on deck for the fourth stadium." (On deck means you will be called shortly.)

Roto casually walked out into the stadium and stepped onto the left side of the ring. He had an oddly confident look on his face.

The referee for the first stadium was a light blue pegasus with white hair. "Okay fans." She said. "Once Standoff reports to the ring, I'll start the fight!" (We can't fight until the ref tells us to begin.)

In the largest box seat, far above the stadium, a group of rich ponies were watching the fight. One of them was Rail, A well groomed unicorn who was the tournaments head organizer. Another was called "Penny Pincher" a nickname given to him for his betting habits. He will never risk a penny unless he's confident that he will win.

"Roto's got this in the bag!" Penny Pincher said. "I've got my whole fortune going on this fight!"

"You seem very confident." Rail said calmly.

"Why shouldn't I be? All the other contestants in this tournament are dark horse candidates from the four corners of nowhere! And if you want to win a tournament like this, you'll need fan support!"

"Roto's powers are abysmal compared to Standoff's. You do know this." Said Rail.

"That doesn't mean anything!" Penny Pincher said. "I gave Roto the best advantage money can buy!"

"What might that be?"

"Information!"

(I have very limited internet access and wont be on all day. I just want to warn you all in advance.)

"No cloning?!" Cosmo thinks as he reads the rule book, "I hope that doesn't include my ghost blades..."

 

Seriously, does the no cloning rule apply to conjuring blades with telekinesis? the version I have are destroyed in one hit but still...

Does this mean I can bring my long knives? It would end up being three weapons, but Cosmo would only use Altiar OR The Black Swans, not all three weapons at once.

I think I can allow that. And the cloning rule doesnt apply to inanimate objects.

The Dark Tournament. Once outlawed in Equestria, but now, thanks to shady business deals and money loans, it has come back to this once peaceful land. This brutal game pins sixteen of the lands deadliest fighters to fight to the death for entertainment and gambling, all for the purpose of becoming the grand champion and getting one wish granted by the corrupt tournament committee. However, participation is not an option for them.

“GOOD MORNING ALL YOU PAIN ENTHUSIASTS! WELCOME TO THE DARK TOURNAMENT! For those of you in the front rows, rain coats are available!” Topaz screamed with joy into her little microphone. She was standing alone atop a huge, circular stadium ring. The stadium seats were filled with all sorts of riled up ponies, griffons, and all sorts of other creatures. Topaz didn’t appear to belong. She was a small, fragile orange unicorn surrounded by violence and rage.

“My name is Topaz, and I’ll be your super cute host for the upcoming brutalities!” She announced. “It’s my first time, so be gentle, okay?”

“Nopony cares!” An angry fan cried.

“WHERE ARE THE FIGHTERS? WE WANT BLOOD!”

Topaz showed a noticeable decrease in energy and said, “The fighters should be coming any moment now. Don’t worry!”

Meanwhile, all of the fighters who were participating in the tournament were gathered in the waiting room. It was well furnished with chairs and four TV screens that showed the tournament's four arenas so that every fight could be watched.

Roto chuckled and announced to the whole room, "This is all just a joke. We all know that there can only be one winner, and it isn't going to be any of you!"

(OOC: All of you are to stay in the waiting room until you are called to the stadium. The first fights should start tomorrow.)

The Katana (He uses two...does that count as one ?) And are other people using guns ? Because that's gonna be interesting...

I'll allow you to take both. And yes, Some one of them brought a grenade launcher. (I don't expect it to be very effective, though.)

Cosmo reads the "Invitation" with a mild irritation. "Just 1 weapon..." He sets his Obsidian black long knives The Black Swans to the side and examines his long blade, Altiar. "Well, I can't seem to resist this opportunity to participate in such an event. Lets see how my opponents fare against the Blood Winds former prodigy."

Hey! Is it possible that I could play with two characters? I mean, they're twins. They must go together. If it makes it fair they wont have any weapons. Anyway, link to Delusion and Illusion here.

The Dark Tournament Rules clearly state that two fighters may only enter the ring if they are intending to kill each other. I will allow you to enter them both separately, and I can ensure that they wont have to fight each other unless they both make it to the semi finals. You can also pick just one, or another oc completely.

She will do fine. However I must warn you, When she is in Shadow form she will be considered "Out of the ring" because shadow is not a state of matter, meaning she is not present in the ring.
