Don't know really what to do now since I hadn't watched Fame and Misfortune yet since i'very gotten the vibe that it has some scenes that I may not be looking for as MLP fan and as such watching triple threat is tougher for me as I don't really want to skip episodes

Hmm. ok, going to stick this in a spoiler box, just in case you don't want to see it.
SpoilerThe show uses the mane 6 as standins for the writers, and they are on the receiving end of some of the meaner things fans have said over the years; Rarity, well, doesn't take that well, doing the running away and crying thing she does in Putting Your Hoof Down and pretty much having a breakdown over it. I think that's going too far for a kids show, and can see some younger fans getting REALLY upset over her treatment as they won't see context, just see their precious pony being bullied. I am assuming this is why Spike doesn't feature in this episode - I would feel he was entirely justified to BBQ some ponies over this, although it is implied Starlight was feeling vengeful, and she has far more varied options when it comes to appropriate punishment.
Similarly, Fluttershy is shown as literally cowering away from a crowd of verbally abusive ponies that I think are meant to represent youtubers. Again, a lack of Discord explains why said ponies still have all four legs and so forth,
What happens to them is upsetting to watch, and I guess it is meant to be - if that is really a fair representation of what the production team has to go though from the more vocal elements of the fanbase, you have to wonder why they still do it - but of course, that's answered too.
There is some excellent in-character work too - Starlight does well as a supportive friend for a change instead of hogging the limelight, and there is an awesome song - but it definitely needs a PG rating.
