  1. Probably the latter option. I can't stand to see the death or destruction of anyone. Plus, I feel like nothing can ever fully erase one's cultural identity. There are ways to hide it and leave clues behind for future generations. Some people, in the future, might try to adopt stuff from the lost race, even if they have no claim to it. I've seen these things happen before.

    Would you rather be a lunar crater, or a solar flare?

  2. If you're looking for someone who will look at it with an unbiased approached, it might be hard. Mostly, you'll either find people who pity the ones wanting to marry a fictional character, or you'll get the people who will sympathize because they've either done it or thought about doing it themselves. And there some places that will wed you to a fictional character of your choice, even if the marriage license would never hold up legally.

    Oh, and since you're here...

    I have never heard of the song or the musician.  I am listening to it now.  It is okay.

    Thanks for giving that song a try! Makes me happy knowing I can expand someone's horizons by introducing them to new music.  :lol:

    Success or failure aside, am I the only one who has tried to do that?

  3. Sometimes, I just don't know if I'm an attention seeker or not.

    I like to think of myself as a pretty wise and insightful guy.

    I'm smart.

    I've got thoughts on LOTS of subjects, often pretty deep thoughts.

    But I don't know what to do with those thoughts...

    Sometimes my anxiety clicks in and I can't bring myself to start a topic based on my thoughts about something. I fear there might not be enough discussion value, or maybe I'm not reaching out to the right kind of crowd, or any random thought like that.

    Sometimes I don't feel like replying to every discussion topic I see because I'm afraid my replies and my thoughts will just get lost among the many other replies.

    I really would like to share my thoughts in a way or in a place where people will be focused more on me. Not that I'm trying to be an attention whore or anything. Really, what I'd like to do is be a bit of an entertainer or a critic or something. Sharing my musings on stuff would just be bonus content. But I don't really have any of the means or resources to do that. No high-end camera, no props, not a big enough wardrobe for costume changes, hardly any musical talent, not enough artistic talent... Heck, I don't even know what my gimmick would be. There is all ready plenty of critics, reactors, animators, musicians, etc... What can I do that hasn't been done a million times by now?

  4. I am a bit of a lyricist, but I wish I knew how to write down the musical notes that go with it. I can think of these great melodies in my head from time to time, but other than humming them or something, I never know what to do with them.  :P Without the notes, your lyrics might as well just be empty words, or poetry at best.

  5. (Sorry this wasn't out sooner. I have been very distracted lately)

    It looks like either Syuren or someone from Drakk's party may have to help keep Natrolite distracted. That is, until he notices more people showing up. "Hmm? Excuse me, who are you? Are any of you acquainted with Bronze or that mad hatter pony? Furthermore, ... Is that a weapon?!?!" Natrolite begins questioning, then notices Syuren's spear. "What is the meaning of-- Wait! Why are some of you going into the mines? HEY! You can't just barge in there. This is Crystal Empire property, you know!"

    But when his ranting doesn't stop anyone, Natrolite starts to follow them into the mine. "If you want something done right, you might as well do it yourself..." Looks like someone might have to hold this pony back. Even if some of Trilby's friends are just meeting him for the first time, he clearly has some mixed up priorities.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Down below, Lorec manages to meet up with Bronze and Trilby first. "Ready to do this, big guy? This could be the greatest discovery in Equestria yet!"
    With Lorec's help, the unlocked vault door is pushed upwards, disappearing into the mine's stone ceiling. Indeed, valuable jewels of all colors and shapes come pouring out, but there is something more within the deep depths... The only warning they would get is the sound of a steam whistle, like the kind you'd hear on a train, followed by the sounds of chains clanging before they start snapping apart.
    Coming out of the large chamber is a gigantic, stone golem with a body that resembles a suit of stone armor! Even his head looks more like an empty helmet, with two lit candles filling in the twin bell-shaped eye cavities. It also has metal shackles on its wrists and ankles, each with only a few lingering chain links still attached to each shackle. Oh, but gets worse. His chest and shoulder armor pieces are covered with multicolored pony heads, each made of stone and yet each one is squirming and moaning. In fact, on top of the golem's head, there is yet another stone pony head where there should be a plume. These cold, stone faces look so dead, and yet they also act like ponies that are in pain and anguish.
    This giant, armor golem is so big, it makes even Lorec look like an action figure by comparison. And Naturally, Trilby's eyes go super wide, his ears lower, and he goes blue in the face. "Celestia, save us..." Trilby squeaks with fear. The golem grips its fist, steam comes out of it's mouth cavity as it roars like a train whistle again, and then tries to stomp on our 3 heroes.
  6. The first one is from the Teletubbies while the second one is from Yo Gabba Gabba!
    Oh, I know where they are from, but that's really all I know. Nothing more.
    Destroy the company. Because if it's an evil organization, then that increases the chance of me becoming a Kamen Rider!  B)
    Be a regular character in a family-friendly sitcom, or the main character in a primetime crime drama?
