"Welcome to the party. Would you like something to drink? I can make anything you want." Trilby says. Trilby wastes no time and serves Snoopy a tall, frosty mug of root beer. "I always provide the best." He looks over at the exit. "Not sure. Maybe somepony should check on her." Trilby is confused at first, then he figures out, and almost crumbles like a jigsaw puzzle. "...Oompa loompa, doompa-dee-doo. I got a lot more hat selling to do." Trilby smiles and waves at Roswell. Trilby was cleaning some glasses when Silver pops up. He narrows his eyes and tilts his head. "Do we know each other? Maybe from a talent show, or a previous customer of mine?" Trilby thinks it over, then recalls. "Oh wait! I remember now! We met in that strange, go-nowhere town! Oh Celestia that was some time ago. How have you been? And what kind of hot drink would you like? I got anything and everything. I recommend the hot coco." Trilby says with smile. "Excuse me." Trilby says before momentarily leaving the bar. He walks over to the karaoke corner. "Is this event limited to Hearths Warming songs? I might not be a great singer, but I'll give it a shot." Selecting a song, Trilby does his best to sing a song for the crowd. "Woo! Thank you, everypony. That song was brought to you by Trilby Hatter's Headwear Emporium. And remember, the drinks are free tonight." Trilby gladly leaves the mic for the next singer and goes back to the drink station.

For a lot of people in Japan, that's basically what Christmas is. But don't worry too much about him. He won't suffer. He has friends, family, and every reason to keep his head high no matter what.

"Hi there, I'm Trilby Hatter. I own a hat store, but tonight, I am serving drinks. What can I get for you?" Trilby asks. "Also, have we met before? You seem so familiar." Trilby sees Wind Walker and offers a friendly wave.

Currently, my OC would be a little sad because he doesn't have a girlfriend. (That's a reference to how the Japanese celebrate Christmas.) But still, he would work hard to make sure everpony in his home town are safe to enjoy Christmas however they want!

Trilby rubs his chin when he sees Snoopy from across the room. "Hmm... Is he famous? I feel like I know him from somewhere." Trilby thinks to himself. "Not much of talker, I see. But that's fine, I understand. You gotta stay alert no matter what." Trilby nods and keeps busy with making drinks, letting Smoky have her moment of quiet. Since there is a slow moment in guests asking for drinks, Trilby temporarily leaves the bar to put some gifts under the tree.

Trilby gets out the hot water and starts brewing some peppermint tea. He even makes his own tea bag filled with fresh ingredients. "One peppermint tea, extra hot. Might give it a moment before you take your first sip.* He slides the mug of tea over to her. "Hmm? Oh, you mean the pendant. Yeah, I chose a holiday-colored pendant for my hat. Thought it might be more fitting for this event rather than just wearing a brown hat. Gotta promote the stuff you can by at Trilby's." He takes a moment to clean some of the cups and mugs. "But you probably didn't come here to learn about some random hat store that is financially struggling. What's your story, if I may ask? I don't think I've caught your name yet." Trilby feels a chill then looks up, spotting a familiar face. "Hmm... I know her. What was it again...? Shaky? Silky? ...Shiny! Now I remember. Something about a talent show, if I remember correctly." Trilby say to himself. Still, he waves at Shiny, trying to be polite. Seeing a pony he doesn't recognize, Trilby attempts to wave politely at her as well, but sees her accidental faux pas. "Oh dear. Reminds me of all the times I accidentally bumped into my own displays at my store."

Put me in, coach! I'll throw my hat into the ring.
