Since I was running low on Sentai and Rider, let's turn back time. It's 1982, and it's the birth of a new kind of tokusatsu franchise known as the Metal Heroes. And here is the first one to kick it off; the granddaddy of them all, Space Sheriff Gavan! Defending the universe against an evil space mafia, Gavan faces some crazy, reality-warping threats and supernatural dangers. His shining, all-silver suit is very striking. In more recent years, Gavan had a Type II successor; and we may be seeing the passing of the torch here in the future. Decades may have passed, but we have not forgotten Gavan.

And to think I was having such a good night too...

I received some some bad news tonight. My mother has been waiting on another operation that might actually fix her health problems a bit more effectively. It was scheduled for noon on Friday. And then, at the last moment, guess what happened.
The doctor called and canceled, saying they won't be able to be there. They'll have to reschedule.

I just feel so bad for my mother. She was SO CLOSE to the finish line! She shouldn't have to be suffering in pain even longer.

Maybe if we are lucky, things will change for the better soon. For now, please keep my mother in your thoughts and prayers. She needs all the help she can get.

Hello, my crowd!  Sorry this is so late. I can explain...

 The reason this post is late is because I am preparing for Thanksgiving as well as taking on some big projects. I got unusually busy Sunday and Monday, and I expect to be just as busy in the coming days. 

 ...Did I forget to talk about Halloween?  It was good. Uneventful, but good. Still have some taffy left over.

 Zeztz 09: Is Death but a Dream?  So in this episode, we didn't get to see the full power of Zeztz's green form, but the episode makes up for it with SO much foreshadowing! Nem's earring that may or may not have been there, the main bad guy introducing a broken weapon, a stolen Capsem, a lost police partner that might have turned into the main villain, and so on. There was not a single boring moment in this episode!

I know nothing about this band, but with this loving tribute to all the Batman movies, I am instantly impressed and hope to hear more of their work. This is "Magnet" by Anamanaguchi.
