I think there are plenty of episodes that answer this question already We know Pinkie became her happy self after seeing the Sonic Rainboom, also know that she kept being that way for a good while, because when that Pony voiced by Weird Al mentions the first party he'd been to, it was a party organized by Pinkie Pie, slightly older, I think we can say it was her teenage hood there. The only moment when it is known that Twilight almost gave up magic was in the moment before getting her cutie mark, because she wasn't being able to perform at the desired level, after that I don't really believe she tried to give up again. We saw Rainbow Dash as a kid, she was already confident as hell and even got her cutie mark out of it, hard to believe she'd change in her teen years just to come back to normal. I have no evidence for the others, but come on, I don't think those are ever slightly realistic for the show's parameters

And YES, it is a shame that they couldn't develop on ANY of the characters, that episode SHOULD have been a 2 parts I scrap the Sidekicks episode just in order to make that one a 2 parts, it would have been great, and we wouldn't have that sorry excuse for an episode (Just kidding, I don't know if that episode is good or not, since it is the only one from the entires series that I skipped) Anyway, I LOVED the Paint this city Pink art! It is awesome and now I want my room to be pink with minimalistic Pinkie Pie art all over it ... @@Pinkamena-Pills, I really would like a Part 2 episode with Pinkamena instead of Twilight (although I admit I loved the Twilight 2 part episodes), and think, other than the Party of One, the only time I saw Pinkie with her Pinkamena mane was in the episode Twilight becomes a , and even then, they didn't have time to explore her, which is a shame Since Pinkie Pie was meant to be in a rock farm for life, and the creators managed to make it that Pinkie had Applejack's cutie mark, putting her back on a farm... great way to reverse her to the Pinkamena self and add a touch "Destiny's Irony" to the episode. http://mlpforums.com/uploads/post_images/img-2716028-2-discchord_approved.png <- Link because image will fade. xD but seriously, isn't this exactly what Pinkie Pie does with that nasty Rainbow Dash friend, whose name I don't remember, but she wasn't even a pony, and kept sort of detesting Pinkie... I know it is different but your plot reminded me of that one

The part I highlighted nearly made my day Until I remembered they HAD the chance of doing it during Pink Pie Pride: THAT would have been the PERFECT occasion to make such a magnificent conflict to take place. And now that they threw away that chance, I think that the only way they could ever revert Pinkie to her Pinkamena Self would be by following your very exact instructions, she HAS to start questioning the ability of the other Ponies to fathom or appreciate the magnificent parties she throws But how? The perfect context for it WAS in Pinkie Pie Pride... I don't see how they could possibly repeat it with intensity enough to awake Pinkie's split personality
