@Bobble, Surprisingly no. What I had them do was spray numbing stuff in my mouth that way it did not hurt when they gave me the numbing shot. Then he pulled the tooth which felt really weird but it did not hurt surprisingly, I hope it goes the same for you. I had a near panic attack in that office but it went fine. It hurt a lot when the numbness went away though.

What they've done to me is given me some medicine that I took last night and again about 15 minutes ago that made me sleep better at night and will make me calmer while they're pulling the teeth. I'll also probably get the shot to numb my mouth.

Ah, that makes sense. The shot is pretty standard I think, without it it would probably be incredibly painful. If you are nervous about the shot at all, ask for the numbing spray stuff if they have it, that is what I had them use and it worked wonders. I was soooo scared during it all but it went very well. I have no doubts that it will for you as well.
