Last night, I left the chat room, saying I would do something stupid, well guess what? I did, I installed ARCH linux on my laptop most of the installation of arch is command line, and I got lost, eventually I found a guide on my iPod and I wa trying to connect to my wireless router, but it wouldn't work, at that point I gave up and went to sleep, I'm going to install mint on it now, because I want to get back into linux

  Now that I think about it. Trying to put together a hackintosh may not actually be that safe because you have to do some interesting things to get the computer to startup from a hard drive. I once had my bios corrupted somehow.... That was really bad.
  
  On second thought, it may be better to stick with windows and linux like you are doing. Less stress that way.
  
  @Kyronea Be thankful that you don't tinker with it. Things can get kind of ugly sometimes if you get too car...

  ...you get too carried away. You should try linux mint if you want to give it a try though - it is friendly to use. Just make sure that you backup important files before installing...

  I had no important files, I think I even formatted my laptops hard drive 4 times while installing arch last night.
