Okie dokies then. Let me go an' finish mah post~! ^^

Oh! Also, I know diamond dogs don't have magic, but I kinda tweaked her to have a magical instinct for finding gems. I've hinted at it before and only did so because I figured since she's linked to an element, I could give her a vaguely small kind. Like Rarity's keen ability to find gems. Obviously, Alex doesn't have a glowing horn that drags her to them or whatever, but it feels more like instinct to her rather than magic.

Ah yeah, that's what I was thinking too, but with the way I typed it, Alex wouldn't have been given a chance to get a close look at them to see that they were fake. It's just the fact that she's never encountered a vendor who like, holds up a part of their cape and is like 'wanna buy a watch' or well, gem in this case. She doesn't know they're untrustworthy, lying little snakes. Back home, people like that didn't exist.

I suppose, but I've already typed up a bit of dialogue including this 'shady' pony thing. So she's gunna be staying put for a little bit till she either buys something from them or someone intervenes. XD I was thinking more along the lines of her buying a fake gem kinda thing. She is a 'diamond dog' after all.

Okay, Imma try and make a post before I go to sleep. I wanna wake up and see my OC hopefully run into Caliber so she can have her gamer freak out session! (Imma clock this thing to. Here we go~!) Ah snabs, I kinda want her to buy an item from some shady pony and have like Caliber or someone else from the group (though I'd prefer Caliber cuz of the nerdgasm) jump in and tell her the items are fake or whatever. Should I do that or nah?

I've got a bag!!! (XD but it don't gotta be my oc. Especially if she decides ta eat it! Well, maybe not eat it, seems more like holding it in her mouth, but still!) No one likes a show off

XD I think the hour thing was also due to my attention span. But no, it still can take me like thirty minutes if I'm fully focused on just the rp response. Everything's just gotta be perfect. Or at least, as perfect as it can get.

XD Pffft! 5 minutes!? I can take like, 20 to 30 minutes on a detailed reply. I think one time I even clocked in AN HOUR!! (being a slow-ish typer probably doesn't help. But I always like to check and double check for spelling and grammar errors and stuff like that.)

I see why it would be hard to accept I guess. But when Amoré talked about her past both in the RP and OOC, I had already come to the assumption that Shining was the father. ^^ This wouldn't/didn't happen in cannon of course, but I can accept it and agree with it for the sake of Amorés story! Anything can happen in the Everfree forums after all!

She's not really a swords person. (though that would change after she saw them), but since she is unaware of the videogame swords, she's not really gunna be interested in following. I was thinking she'll possibly find out a different way. Yush! Leave the keyblade! If he comes back to the group and she sees that swords. She gunna wanna know where the shop is. Probably have the same 'take mah money' reaction and buy herself da keyblade!

Our OCs must become BFFS first. No exceptions! My OC my not like yours to much. But if it's a spiel about videogames, she'll gladly go on and on and ON about them~!!! She and Caliber shall teach her tha ways of da vidygames!!!

XD it's not really a 'return' I was home with internet access, but I was temporarily dead. And yeah, I just read through all da messages. So I'm caught up~ ^^

Agh gosh.... I got home at like almost 5, hot and tired. Pull up a Cry stream and sleep three hours through it. Come back to life and see it's like 8 and I've got all da spam of emails... XD was I really that tired?! (apparently~)

"Yes, but you need to be sure to analyze a situation before making such hasty actions." Alex said, responding to the mare's second statement. "Sometimes, yes it is called for. However, like with what happened yesterday, it could have been the action that caused such death... If Caliber really had been a bandit, he wouldn’t have cared about keeping me alive. Holding me at close quarters with a blade is supposed to be a threat that says 'do as I say or I’ll kill you', or, in the case when around allies, it's a similar statement 'don’t take another step or I kill them.' So charging in like that could have automatically meant my death." Alex smiled a bit at Tyra's third statement, a genuine one this time, seeing as she was trying to accomplish the same thing, but was just finding it a bit trickier on her end. "Yeah, with dark times like these, there needs to be a bit of fun and friendship sprinkled in to hopefully rid Equestria of it's darkness... Or at least, as much of it as possible. Evil can never truly be completely wiped from existence, but goodness and light can at least keep it at bay." Her ears twitch as she hears Amoré walk closer to them to speak. She nods her head in agreement. "Hmm, friendship and love do build over time, one cannot simply just take it by force. It doesn't work that way... I'm not always the most patient, but I understand that some things just take their time..." 'It's just so difficult for me to try to build those bonds with everypony fighting all the time...' She thought to herself. 'It's like trying to calm an adult diamond dog in the middle of a temper tantrum...' ...Which she knew all too well from experience...

Alex rolled her eyes a bit under her hood. 'Boy ain't that the truth...' she thought to herself, as Tyra spoke her reasons as to why people left her... However, her reasoning of not 'fretting' about them and such irked her own views of friendship a bit. She wasn't angry about it, it just didn't suit the way she always thought about friendship. "Well, if they never appreciated your assistance or trusted to sleep or walk beside you, then they weren't really ever you're friends to begin with..." The canine said. It may have come out a bit harsh, but that's how she felt about it... "Friends should have a strong connection with one another. The best of friends would be inseparable, communicate with one another, bond with one another, and trust one another. Why do you think the expression 'best friends forever' was made? Friendships are meant to last till the end of time... If that doesn't happen, then you're not really friends..." She paused a moment to let that sink in, thinking about her own friend... "The ones you lost by other means, are a different case entirely... I'm sure they would have stuck beside you if they could... Death tends to cut friendships off too soon before that friendship can grow stronger..." Alex looks down, placing a hand over her chest. She takes a slow, deep breath before turning her gaze back to Tyra. "Even though this group has had a lot of... imbalances, lately... We're going to be stuck together for quite some time..." She huffed a bit, trying to sound amused. "Which means you still have a chance to bond with everyone... Lucky you right?"

The diamond dog simply nodded as Tyra spoke. Obviously, she wasn't going to be leaving her alone any time soon since she wasn't making it obvious that she wanted her to go away.... Just nod and tolerate... 'nod, and tolerate...' she thought to herself. "Yeah, most ponies and such just want to rob you of your stuff or whatever..." The canine commented, pausing again as the mare spoke again. "...Oh really? How come?" Alex asked when Tyra finished talking, her voice sounding a bit curious although in all honesty she wasn't really all that interested.

Alex was just on the verge of zoning out into her own little world when suddenly a voice of one of the ponies came in and pulled her back just before she could pass through the door. Slightly annoyed about the interruption, she glanced over to see Tyra walking beside her... great... Pulling up a grin, she nods towards the mare, not taking down her hood to uncover her face. "Yeah." Alex replied. "I never thought I’d ever encounter such a big group like this with all these different.." ...Careful... "backgrounds, personalities, and abilities..." Yeah, that works... Of course, the statement was true, she never expected to meet such a large group. Most of them were ponies though, which she had expected to encounter the most of since leaving the Galloping Gorge... These ponies just didn't seem to fill the... expectations she had initially thought...

But that's Amoré's view of everyone. And I know she explained herself out loud and everyone heard, but in Alex's lil doggie eyes, she just doesn't feel the bond between her and everyone else is that strong. As mentioned, she had a friend before, and she felt their bond was practically unbreakable and they never had fights with one another. Having no other friends besides that one person, she feels like all friends should have a closely knit bond like that. And with all the fighting going on and the lack of interaction with her and the others (though that second part is probably on my part for being a slow writer and having to be at school a lot of the time) it just seems like friendship is unlikely to happen (for the moment at least. At the end everyone's gotta be buddies. Cuz, ya know. Friendship is magic!). XD Alright, I'mma try harder'

Yeeaaaah. Alex sorta figured she shoulda made a friend already by now. And since that hasn't really happened, she's scurrying under her hood for some sort of comfort. I thought this was kind of an interesting way to show this side of her, like how Pinkie Pie's mane 'deflates' when she's depressed (and sometimes goes mentally insane), Alex goes under tha hood. But still. My babeh's never felt so low All da sadss.. But thanks for tha wubs. And goodnight to tha both a ya~

Alex was glad when the conflict stopped, the ringing in her ears slowly subsiding. The situation's ending was a fairly sour note, but it was better than resulting in any sort of bloodshed. The diamond dog wasn't quite sure what to do now though. There wasn't really anypony she could go to. She'd tried befriending Radiant, but he'd had more interest in Amoré, and now she sort of had an idea why. Either way, he was still currently trying to comfort Red while also occupied with carrying the new mare they'd encountered earlier. She really wasn't interested at the moment to hang out with Lunar or Tyra no matter how well she could fake a smile or a laugh near them. Amoré was already occupied with her own problems, Strider starting up a conversation about said problem and Caliber was just... Caliber... Clearly this whole friend-making thing wasn't going well towards her favor... like always... For the time being, it felt as though she would only ever have made one friend... one who.... she missed very dearly... Pulling her hood up to completely cover her face, the canine kept herself a small distance from the group, probably about six or seven feet. Her posture when she walked didn't show any signs of gloominess or sadness, just a slow, normal, walking pace. It was the closest she could get to providing herself some alone time when around these ponies now it seemed. Being under her hood gave her a small sense of loneliness, allowing her to think and not be distracted by the things going on around her. It felt very peaceful there, no conflicts, no drama, just calm, quiet, alone time...

XD Yeah, it's so hard to keep up sometimes. Especially if it comes to fights. I can barely get a word in before it resolves itself since i always wanna add sooooo much detail. (But of course, waitin' for Red made it easy to calm things down a bit with all the messages an' stuff )
