      I'd recommend you research to see what you like. Personally, I prefer the sm58 for vocals, but some people like sm57 better :33

      If you're planning on doing vocals more than general recording, I'd recommend the shure sm58 ... it's a related mic (about the same price) but better for vocals.

      It's not as good as a $2000 mic of course, but you can get some very solid recordings with these.

    One thing that bothers me about high school dances is that the teachers preach that you should be school appropriate, yet over half the couples are grinding and the teachers barely do anything about it.
