@@Littlecandylulu903 "That's good to hear" Humble said, trying to hold back his blushing from the extreme closeness he is to Spellbind, and trying politely to get out of it. "I...uh...think we should get going before we fall too much behind." he was going to get up, Then stopped. "Are-Are you going to keep covering your horn.I'll understand you do. I know this sounds wrong, but I-I just thought I could get the chance to get used to you, the real you, if that's okay..."

@@Littlecandylulu903 "Well.." Humble replied "I decided because of you to come on this journey and to help our new friends. If they need help from you and me, then we should give it to them. But if you'd rather stay here for the moment I'll be sure you're...not alone." Really, Humble doesn't know what to do. With everything that happened because of the shadows, his flute, his friends and....Spellbind, his mind is not as it should be. Though if it is to just one pony that is Spellbind, he'll do what he can for her...even if he made himself trapped in this.....relationship with her...something he'll overlook.

Humble nodded to Lightning then turned to Spellbind, "uh...Spellbind...the rest of the group is heading out, do you think you''re ready to go with them? If not, maybe I can stay here by Zecora's hut with you if you want. I'm sure the group would understand. They seem like they got all this all under control without us. If you're ready later, I'll do what I can to have us catch up to them."

He sat there holding Spellbind for as long as she needed, with a relieved spirit."I'm just glad I met you, and I'm trying to repay you for all you did for me. You more than deserved it. Normally I would write songs to pass the time, and give me something to strive towards. Thank you for giving me inspiration to truly write one for you, I don't know how i can thank you for that."

@@Littlecandylulu903 "It...must be so hard for you....I can't even imagine" Humble replied, trying to find the right words to say,"this probably means nothing to you...but...I'm not a good flyer...I can only fly near the ground...Fast speeds scare me, or could make me sick....there's also the problem that ...*exhales*....I'm....terrified of heights...." Humble takes a moment to look at Spellbind, then continues "As you can tell" Humble adjusts his glasses "my eyesight isn't the best....I was also born with low blood pressure so there are certain times that I....lose my eyesight for a minute...and it always terrifies me...then there's this...." Humble takes off his glasses, making sure his eyes are properly seen, revealing his deformed right eye. "I was born with a droopy eyelid... so I mostly rely on my left eye to see...though I can still see with both and I gotten through life fine...it's just...all this with my eyes and fears concerns me...that I'm not normal..." he takes a good breath, puts his glasses back and make sure he's properly looking at Spellbind. "But all of this, shouldn't concern you. What I seen of you before, wasn't something like me. You didn't let anything hold you back and always looked forward, especially for the needs of others. Even if none of us knew about this, you still looked like a mare who didn't let her negative side of life get her down. You are brave, kind, understanding, in ways I can't compare. I'm sure you're ten times as great now than I could ever be. If you do think this, deformity, weakens you, Zecora said you hide power under your hat. I'm sure she believes you could over come this obstacle."Humble looks to the others, "I'm sure the rest of us believe in you". He looks back at Spellbind,"But if not", he puts his hoof on her shoulder "I know for sure, that I believe in you..."

@@Littlecandylulu903 Humble, being the gentlecolt he is, wanted to pick up Spellbind's hat for her, but she was fast, a little too fast he thought. That's when he got a clear look at the situation, and Spellbind's horn. "oh...uh...." It was a that moment he knew he was on thin ice. Before, he placed some of the pieces together, her hat, her name, what Zecora said, and believed Spellbind to just be hiding her magic. Now, with all the pieces together, he knew the truth, a dangerous truth. He was shocked to see something like this, and part of him wanted a full explanation. Though how would that help anypony now, questioning a mare about her "deformity". Another part of him wanted to walk away and ignore what he saw, but he knows running from the truth solves nothing, it only make things worse. What he really wanted, was to just help Spellbind, as he knew deep down, that this was something she was trying to run from, as he was running from his own kinds of truth. But what was he to say? Well, anything would be better than just staring at her "deformity". "your...um....horn...Spell...bind..." Smooth, Humble...smooth... he thought sarcastically.

Humble considers spending his time in the pub while the dual occurs outside. Nothing's wrong with them settling their little competition he thinks Though it's not like not avoiding it is going to solve anything. I might as well watch. It could help study their fighting styles when the real battles come and show me how real fights play out, something that's going happen a lot in the future. Besides, at least one of them is going to require some assistance with their health by the end of it. He makes his way outside, and leans against the front of the pub.

"Well...I think you both did good" Humble replied, trying not to be one sided,"You obviously had a lot of practice, and Skylar did well for a pegasus her age....." he cuts off with a more cautious reply,"Though.....as for what's causing the shadows...maybe there's a reason for why it's happening..is there a way we could...you know...maybe...fix this without violence...." Knowing quite well that violence is indeed needed at times, such as with the earlier fight, Humble doesn't exactly agree with that face to face.

8/10 not used to rating songs or listening to any music without lyrics, but I am beginning to expand my use of music. Also, I may put any other songs of mine that I think are good enough, so I could get at least a little bit of criticism for my work, so I know if they are actually as good as I think, or if I need to make them better For now, a song I made for a friend, , parodied off of Tristam & Braken-Frame of Mind, from his request for his OC. (Sorry there's no accompanying music, I'm still new at this)

Humble took note of Skylar's wings and her excitement towards using them. Sometimes he wishes he was like that, or like any other pegasus. Using his wings to fly around, helping with the weather or any other jobs needed. Though he knows well he doesn't want flying to be a responsibility that he could fail at, hurting himself or, more importantly, others. Also cause he, shamefully, is afraid of heights. As he is comfortable flying slightly off the ground, being himself, there are the times that not flying properly causes problems in his life, such as when Lightning asked him to fly with her. Perhaps it would easier to talk about it with somepony, he thought, maybe with Spellbind. I did mention it to her earlier, and she does seem very understanding. Though would it help our relationship as friends, or just secure this other relationship she appears to be trying to make.....

@@sonicdashie Humble quickly turned turned his head from Spellbind's hat to Lightning, and replied with shaking words "Y-You know....I...um...think it would be better if I stayed...with the rest of the group....I case if something happened....it's not like I'm a good flyer anyways...but if you want to go, that's fine by me......"

well it wouldn't be much (just lyrics and my singing) but you could see my second link in signature for examples if you want to be sure first. I can still try either way to make a song.

If you're open, I'd like to request a better version of this cutie mark. It's supposed to be two yellow half notes facing each other with two white wings on each, representing sixteenth notes (the background is just the colour of the OC). note: I have already had another version made (by @Dark Heart, ) though I'm curious as to how you'll make it. If you'd rather not do this I'd understand.

@@Littlecandylulu903 "uh...thanks..."Humble replied, trying to be as nice as possible. A lot of things are going through his head at the moment: shadows, fighting, his flute, new friends. As there were times he wanted to "meet" a mare, he doesn't believe this to be a good time. Nor the fact of how "nice" she is being towards him with her nuzzling and affection for his, facial hair, and how uncomfortable all of it actually is. He gulped and said "I...uh..like your..." trying to come up with a polite response, then remembers what Zecora said. She who hides power in her hair. "...your...hair...Spell....bind..." He directs his eyes onto her hat and hair.

Humble took an apple and started eating it quietly. He was still thinking about the flute and what it did. He saw the that the shadows weren't like they were before they started playing. They were distracted, weak and angry, all because of what he did. Though what Humble wondered was if it was all because of him, or the flute... @@Littlecandylulu903, "Oh...what...the music?...oh that was just...the flute....like Zecora said...it's a...magic...flute...." Humble confessed, hoping the others, especially Spellbind, won't get the wrong ideas of him...and because of the nuzzling.... that too....his mind was in a state of confusion.... ummmm....wh-what's happening...

Once getting his head together after the large battle and what Zecora said, Humble spends a moment observing his flute. He studies it carefully while quiety playing a note now and then. Some sort of a smile appeared on his face after playing that flute during the battle, though some concern covers his face as well.
