Humble Hymn

Still dazed from what Zecora said, not to mention everything going on, Humble found it hard to move, except for staying out of harm's way in a nearby bush. Though hearing what lightning said, including the fact that a shadow was coming at Skylar in her blind spot, he yelled "LOOK OUT!!!", and tackled the shadow, hoping to keep it away from her. Unfortunately, not wanting to deal any harm and not thinking straight, the shadow escaped his grasp.

Zecora went around the hut to find what food she had, while at the same time keeping her eyes on the flute. "Thanks",Humble said "but you should give the food to those who be better off with it....Unlike me...who's only good at stealing flutes....OW....." as Zecora bopped him on the head with the flute. You may think yourself a fool, but this is no simple tool. Great power is what comes from this, something that many would miss. For there are few with spirit and heart, that would never be torn apart, from this powerful flute, some may call "cute" As it gives life and energy to those deemed key. And brings confusion and pain, to those not quite sane. So use it well, Humble one, as I'm sure with this, the battle is won. She gave the flute back to Humble Hymn unaware of her surroundings. It seems our safety has been broken, and gives no time for those spoken. Use the flute you must, with those you most trust. Zecora pushes everypony outside including humble with the flute in his hooves, dazed by everything going on. "But how am I supposed to-" Look deep inside Zecora says as she slams the door closed. With a slightly muffled voice she says, You may be surprised

Zecora: It seems that this troubles both he and she, and that you have come for help from me. As Ponyville is in danger from this "Shadow Clan", I shall help in any way I can. These shadows come from the light you touch, however grow stronger in darkness very much. For in your peaceful town they may just roam, but in this dark forest they will call home. They all look like you, act like you, copy your abilities too. Though with dark magic they are strong And you may not last very long. Fight you must, in your best of mood, and yes, I do have some food. Zecora went to get some food, but when she came back saw what was sticking out of Humble's bag stick out. What is this I might see, a pan flute it must be. Taking the flute out of the bag, she inspected it with keen interest. Realizing everything that just happened, humble exclaimed, "oh...the flute...I found it in one of the houses in Ponyville....didn't mean to take it...".

well I recently just started practicing my singing and song writing with not much to go on...out of nowhere and on my own I should add....I have no idea where to begin making new instrumental music...I probably should learn somehow, but what I'm doing now is already a huge leap for me, so it's easier said then done...sorry, I would be happy to if I could ....it would give me a lot more confidence than my singing does...

Observing the strangely shaped hut, Humble asked out "So this Zecora, I'm guessing is good at dealing with...whatever it is we're dealing with?", knowing that was a stupid question, as they took the time to travel to her hut instead of dealing with the dangers on their own. Though he hopes to make sure that he gets a good understanding at what it is they're doing, so he doesn't become a liability to their quest by being in the dark."So who wants to knock?...".

Humble takes a quick second to look back at Ponyville, then at the forest. He considers how this might have gone for him if he just stayed behind, but knows that there's no turning back. Ponyville needs help and it seems he's actually taking part in it, nothing he expected in his visit here. Though whatever stood in the way of the town's safety, was unfortunately in the deep, dark, frightening abyss of a forest that stood in front of him. Taking a gulp, he said, "ready when you are..." in the most combat ready voice he could muster, which wasn't much.

Humble smiled in return, part of it being happy that there are others looking out for him when he needed it, though mostly being worried that they're looking after him while they should be fighting....whatever they should be fighting. Also due to the fact that he could very well be walking into Tartarus for all he knows.... He walked out with Spellbind, some-what ready for whatever's to come.

"If...if you want..." humble replied, spending to much alone, he doesn't get much practice speaking in the company of mares, but knows he shouldn't be forcing it upon them. "I...uh...don't do much flying anyways...." Looking at the other pegasus, he wonders why he said that, and that if he knew how to properly fly he wouldn't have this problem.

"No-No it's fine, I can come with you" Humble quickly replied, seeing as he could be more of a burden by staying, and that he should be more helpful towards those trying to help him, especially the mares. He stood up straighter,"so, uh, forest, right?" he exclaimed, putting the pan flute in his bag without realizing.

Humble backed up slowly, hoping not to get involved in fighting alongside professionals, especially against his own shadow, for many of the obvious reasons,"You know....", he started to say, "I think all of you got this....no point in me slowing you down...I'm probably better off here...seeing if there are others who could use my help...or just hide in the closet...not like I could be of any real help..." not realizing his surroundings he backed up into a shelf, knocking it slightly, causing an object to fall on his head and onto the floor, "OW...ugh....wow this is not my day" he mumbled to himself, reaching for whatever fell on the floor, "I am such a-........" taking a look at the object, revealed to be an interesting item,"a pan flute...." he exclaimed to himself.

I'll just leave this here, if or if not you want to do this...you don't have to add all of them, just what ever you'd feel is necessary...he's a stallion... Wow...that is awesome though...is whatever under his ear an earring? and I was hoping he would get a little bit of a beard....not to say it's bad...you did an amazing job

"AH, PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!!!" Humble quickly replied, holding his hoofs in front of his face,as if trying to protect himself from whatever was in front of him. Though opening his eyes for a quick second revealed a somewhat familiar figure."C-Caliber....?", he shot up straight, back against the wall with shaking legs, "oh...uh...what are you doing here?....". He gave a faint smile, hoping not to look so cowardly, and to avoid any questions given towards him about what he was doing. "wait...so...those were our shadows coming at us? I thought they were some kind of...evil....shadow...thing... that are harmful to us...that's why I came in here to hi- I mean...you know...make sure all of you are safe...and that....you wouldn't... be hurt by...evil...shadow...things..........I'll stop talking...."

Little did lightning, spellbind and caliber know that they were not alone in the house, as some noises were heard from upstairs. They sounded a lot like the opening of a window, panicked breathing, and the opening and closing of a closet door. It seems that something else could very well be in the house with them, but the best way to be sure is if somepony were to check it out...
