It's really up to you. I'm actually not sure how the Royal Guard should react, though I believe they should definitely not be hostile in any way as the ship just helped save Ponyville. If you want to add in a couple Royal Guard NPCs to help move things along, that should be fine, even if it means giving orders to NPCs you want me to control (I figure interacting with yourself won't be as much fun).

I wasn't sure if you still had any changelings in Ponyville. As far as Mentis, that was a mistake when copying and pasting stuff on my phone. Also, it was already established that Charlie and Queen Allure could communicate through telepathy when Charlie called out for help before the big battle. That was how she was asked to bring the stick. I however can't remember if they communicated directly or if the information was relayed through Dr.Xeno.

@@Blitz Boom When I eventually add Ink & Quill back in, I'd like to do it with a quote of the post I'm responding to, but edited the way they would edit it with changes shown in red. This would help me get in character, and it would help show the way their minds work. I won't do it unless you're okay with it, and if you are but you change your mind later, I'll stop if you ask me to. . Here's an example:

A unicorn in an elegant dress then approached saying, "I demand to see Princess Platinum immediately. The conditions here are deplorable. There are plenty of buildings here in this... village? Why can't we stay here?" Then an Earth pony cut in, "Typical unicorns, thinking of yourselves first, not willing to give up a single luxury for the sake of somepony else. We can't expect that they just let us into their homes. If Chancellor Puddinghead were here..." Stargazer, as well as most of the other ponies should recognize the names they mentioned from tales of Hearths Warming's origin. @@Blitz Boom On the other side of the portal was Ponyville, yet only a few buildings were built so far, none of them being the clock tower. The sun would soon be setting on a warm summer day. There were a few buildings being constructed, some ponies trading in the street. The young Granny Smith could be seen carrying bags of seeds toward the place that would become Sweet Apple Acres. When the portal closed, The Traveler would be standing behind Zhu. "I'm curious, what do you see when you look at her? Do you see several potential futures for her, or do you see what you know will be true?" @@P-Jay @@Blitz Boom @@Denim&Venom "I'm not a doctor." Charlie's confused response to Queen Allure would be both spoken aloud and directly into Queen Allure's mind. "Wait, are you referring to the one that visited us in the Grove of the Everspirits? I can sense him. He must be asleep. Should I contact him for you? Talking in each other's heads like this will be hard to get used to. I mean, it might be slightly similar to how my friends and I communicated in the forest, but we communicated with sensations and feelings, not words. That being said, even words are going to take some getting used to. 'Getting used to,' strange how this combination of words has a different meaning when used together than the combined meanings of the words when they're used separately." It seemed this distraction had taken all of Charlie's attention away from Vivid and her guest.

It must be why you're only half a Pegasus!" The others started to laugh as he stared at her with a grin on his face. Insulting a one winged half-breed seemed to be amusing him. There were even a few snickers and chuckles from both the Unicorns and the Earth Ponies, though the Earth Ponies didn't laugh until he had said "half a Pegasus." @@Blitz Boom "Very observant. Most focus only on order, not understanding that life itself is chaos. If left unchecked, The Forgotten One would have eliminated all other life, banishing all to a dream world that would cease to exist without dreamers. The fall of Ponyville would have given him enough power to make him unstoppable." The Traveler opened a portal, though not large enough for himself. "I must replace my former self for this trip to Ponyville, but you may simply walk through. I cannot risk there being two of me here." @@P-Jay @@Blitz Boom "We weren't really told what would happen if someone took a dream into reality, so I'm not sure what would happen," Charlie responded. "By the way, I saw a piece of you was cut off. How long do you think it would take you to grow back? I lost a limb to a snowstorm once, and it took years to regrow."

I might not be able to post until Friday or Saturday, my schedule hasn't changed like it was supposed to.

Tell them you'll post what you want. You can't let them push their views onto you like that. If they don't like it, they don't have to read it (I copied and pasted this response I made to your previous status). Love regardless of gender is more pure than any other kind of love. If I could sit down and have a word with your parents myself, I would.

Many of the newcomers began moving toward the camp. A unicorn could be heard complaining, "Tents! Can you believe it? Being forced to live like a lowly Earth Pony!" "Oh great! We have to stay in the same camp as those pompous unicorns," one Pegasus said. "Staying in the same camp as those boisterous Pegasi? This can't end well," an Earth Pony said with disdain. The guards seemed confused and were whispering to each other trying to figure out what was going on. @@Blitz Boom "Before we begin our journey, first, a lesson. This lesson consists of but one question and it's answer. Which did defeating The Forgotten One prevent: Chaos or Order? Think long and hard before you answer." The Traveller stopped and stared directly into Zhu's eyes as he asked the question. He had a serious look as he asked, but after he spoke the question, he had a slight grin. @@P-Jay @@Blitz Boom "As good a theory as any, I suppose," Charlie responded to Vivid's guess as to how Charlie got there. "I don't think we need the portal anymore. Somehow, I feel like I'm both here and somewhere else. Is this what it's like to dream?"

@@Blitz Boom I have a couple questions before we continue, as this may affect my next post with Charlie. What season is it in the RP overall? What season is it in Vivid's dream, and are there trees nearby? @@P-Jay @@Blitz Boom I would also like to specify that Charlie is genderless, which is why I'm trying really hard not to use words like "he," "him," or "his." If you wish to use those words to make it easier for you, that's fine, as long as it's well known that it isn't an accurate pronoun.

@@Blitz Boom @@Denim&Venom As the other guards did what they were told, another older guard approached Celestia. "Princess, I recommend we move you to the castle for your safety." Celestia nodded in agreement, there were many unknown elements around, a good number of which seemed to be armed. It would be foolish not to take caution. "I'll be at Twilight's castle if you need anything," she said calmly before her chariot carried her on her way toward the castle. Some of the ponies that had appeared were dividing into groups based on their race, more comfortable with their own kind. This was of course because they were from a time before Equestria itself, when the three tribes, Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi were still divided. Doctors and healers tended to the wounded while some guards began setting up tents in the distance. The older guard, a Pegasus, flew up onto a low roof nearby, and in a loud voice he said, "Attention newcomers! We are setting up camp to the North. It will be a temporary settlement for all of you who need a place to stay until such a time that arrangements can be made to send you all to your homes, wherever they may be." @@Blitz Boom "We are currently in a time I have not yet explored. This was the first iteration where The Forgotten One was defeated, so everything that is to come is new to me, though minutes from now another me from the future may travel back and take my place. Such is the way of my life. Also, my purpose is not to balance good and evil, but to balance chaos and order." The Traveler stopped walking when they were far enough into the forest that Ponyville was finally out of view. "If you would humor me, I'll bring you back to early Ponyville to demonstrate the types of influences I've had to make." @@P-Jay @@Blitz Boom Charlie turned to face Vivid. "I don't know how I got here. I didn't go through any doors. Last thing I remember was seeing that creature burn, then I felt weak, like it had gone a month without raining." Charlie had never fallen asleep before, so it was a new experience. How else could a former tree explain feeling tired? "For some reason I feel like I'm moving, but I'm not. Does that make any sense to you?" The motion Charlie was feeling was from being carried by Zhu. There was a lot for him to learn about sleep.

@@Blitz Boom Again Zhu would hear The Traveller speaking directly into his mind, "Aren't you forgetting someone?" He was of course referring to Charlie, who was still tethered to the glowing stick lying in the road. Somehow, Charlie was in a sleep state, though Charlie wouldn't be able to do much anyway, being a mere spirit attached to a branch. "I know the sudden appearance of all of The Forgotten One's victims is most likely causing many new visions, which I assume is disorienting, but these two have a deal, and I don't think they'd be too happy about getting split up now." He sounded a bit more cheerful, and a little less sure of what he was saying than he did before the creature was defeated. In fact, he sounded like a whole new hippogriff. @@P-Jay @@Blitz Boom Charlie awoke in Vivid's dream, unsure of where this place was. "What's going on? Where am I?" Vivid and her guest would be able to see Charlie lying in the road, facing away from them in the form of a sea green, semitransparent triops (it basically looks like a horseshoe crab with three eyes). Unknown to Charlie, it was Charlie's proximity to Vivid that caused this to be the destination when entering The Realm of Dreams. With no real body, specifically no brain, Charlie had no way of creating a unique dream as anyone else would, so the default would be the dream of the nearest dreamer.

Recap continued: Charlie also offered to teach the kitsune's lover, a changeling queen of a smaller hive than that of queen Crysalis, how to lock her dreams from unwanted intrusion, but that would have to wait until she slept. They arrive at the ruins of the Castle of the Two Sisters, where the other changelings of her hive hide in the shadows. A siren disguised as a flightless Pegasus (Moonlit Serenade) loses control of her siren instincts begins feeding off a pink zebra Pegasus, who seems to be put into a trance, so Omen, a strange shadow creature gets them out of public with portals to another dimension and ends up bringing them to the castle as well. Omen uses her portals again to get Princess Luna to help, but she ends up confronting Queen Allure, the changeling queen. Queen Allure wouldn't reveal herself, so Luna ricocheted a blast of magic off the Everwood stick that the kitsune was still impaled with. Because Everwood disrupts changeling magic, the blast disrupted her telepathic link, hurting her and her son. Luna brought a doctor, who was also a changeling but of another hive, to treat their injuries and those of the kitsune. He joined their telepathic link as part of their treatment. Charlie also became linked to them because his Everwood magic was involved in the incident. The spider slayers sleep while Luna uses a piece of Everwood she purchased from them to make a necklace to turn Serenade into an actual Pegasus, with the ability to fly. Charlie meets with the demon mare and Briar in their dreams, and they make the final arrangements for a body for Charlie and eyes for Briar, which Charlie chooses a changeling body from a questionable source, though is too naive to know he should question it. Charlie then goes to Queen Allure's dream and teaches her to seal her dreams. Immediately after the lesson as Charlie is trying to leave, The Forgotten One takes Charlie and uses him to gain new powers and keep himself hidden when he would eventually go to the waking world. Allure listens as she is told to seal the door and save herself. Allure awakes with no memory of the dream, due to the demon clawing at her dream before she could seal it. During the night, The Forgotten One took a few victims, making the world forget them and making them basically incorporeal. As Seamore and some of the others plant the seeds from the Everwood in a clearing, Spider people attack them and both the kitsune and her lover at the castle. Eventually a truce is formed and some of them eventually end up in Ponyville fighting the creature, separating it from Charlie. They kill the creature, but not without some major damages in Ponyville, including a collapsed balcony and a demolished clock tower. The victims of the demon are returned, including those that were taken before it was sealed away. P.S. I know I mixed up some stuff, but I don't feel like correcting the chronology.

recap: A group of ponies were drawn together by the sound of a tree falling. It was cut down by a lumberjack (Seamore) who then started a campfire and shared s'mores with them while telling them about an giant evil Diamond Spider that was claiming a part of the everfree forest where the Everwood (a species of magic trees with intelligent souls that become dream spirits when they die) grows. They defeat the spider, cracking the diamond on its back, unknowingly releasing a demon known as The Forgotten One into the Realm of Dreams. They then cut down a few Everwood trees, which is a welcome end for the trees that are ready (there are certain signs that suggest when they are). One of the trees explodes due to improper handling when cutting it down, and its soul accidentally possesses Briar (a plant pony OC of Blitz Boom) and becomes fascinated by the idea of exploring the world of the living. He eventually leaves and goes to the Realm of Dreams. The others travel to the castle of the two sisters to take shelter from the rain. To get there, they use a shortcut that goes through the Realm of Dreams, the gates of which are opened by Everwood magic. There, as they travel through the Realm of Dreams, the Everwood pulls the souls of the Everspirits that came from them to them (it's an automatic thing caused by them and their "bodies" both being in the Realm of Dreams) and the disguised changeling lover of a kitsune in the group joins them. The Everspirit from the exploded tree, who had named itself Charlie Everdream (at this point tethered to a stick that the kitsune is impaled with), arranges a deal with Blitz Boom's demon mare OC for a body, and Briar makes a deal for a pair of eyes (he has been blind since birth, a trait of his particular breed). I will finish the recap tomorrow. I can't remember wether the deals were made while Charlie was possessing Briar (who was a willing participant of the possession), or while everyone was traveling through the Realm of Dreams.
