  1. Game glitches/bugs are weird.
Borderlands 2 is not the most polished game out there, and modding it probably doesn't help.
so we played that with a friend, and long story short, I managed to separate the camera from my character model, causing me to basically soft lock. Now, that's not really that interesting by itself, rather, the interesting part is what happened after.

We tried to fix it by my friend getting my character killed through bringing me next to an enemy (I was stuck in a car), this didn't fix it, it only repositioned my camera, so I restarted the game. The weird part, when killed, the enemy that killed me dropped unusually high amount of loot, and with closer look, that loot was exact copy of my inventory.

What kind of code exists in the game that causes that to happen? What action went wrong in a way that enemy's loot pool became exact copy of one of the player character's inventory?

It's extra weird, because the player can never drop their inventory in death, and I don't think there exists a thing that would normally clone the player's inventory, nor should the mod, which only just moves some values around, add anything like that either, so it's not a case of pulling wrong code in wrong place.

Given you're playing on a modded version, I guess everything is possible. :mlp_icwudt:

This is actually surprisingly common glitch in games, be it the exacts of pulling it off being different, I guess physics objects and unbreakable moving things don't go well together :P I remember time in Agents of Mayhem where my vehicle just launched for no reason. (pic included)(I don't recommend that game) . Though the under map happenings is weird, guess that's their way of doing the whole "teleporting back to map" thing :D

Yeah, it's very common, and it's always fun to toy with. :D

Same thing was happening in "7 Days to Die", for example. If you put a 4x4 truck into trader's gate and close it, things happen... :mlp_icwudt:

We literally spent hours putting trucks into different interactive things :ButtercupLaugh:

I have a very faint memory of also experiencing similar bug at some point, though I'm not 100% sure, that does sound funny though :P

It was, we spent a lot of time watching that dude :ButtercupLaugh:

We managed to somehow break Claptrap's birthday quest for good with my friend, the mod may not be entirely blameless but I don't really know why it would have broken that from all possible quests. in short, somehow we managed to fail the "enjoy the party" part, and now, every time the quest is tried, it fails at that part immediately. We managed to break a quest where you don't even need to do anything :P

Oh that does sound familiar actually, I think we also have run into a trouble with that quest. There was something wrong with its completion, but I don't remember what exactly was happening.

We are true game breakers with my friend, we don't even try half the time, and still do it, the quickest bug (not counting when game just doesn't start anymore) is 15 seconds from pressing 'start game'. In the game 'The hunter: Call of the wild' the moment he spawned in, my friend went to a nearby building and got stuck in the doorway...he had to restart the game :ButtercupLaugh:

Exactly like me and my bro. :BrightMacContent: Sometimes we try, sometimes we do not, but even crappy games are fun if we start playing them our own way. :D

Getting stuck is such a classic, and kinda the most disappointing result when you try to squeeze somewhere or something. :P

We've broke countless of games as well, I have some replays saved, like this one from dead island riptide - I was dying over there pinkielmao32.png

(I have potatoed the resolution/quality to reduce filesize; also removed sound as nvidia captured our voice chat -- well rather, my bro's voice only, because it doesn't capture mine (input))

Me and my friend don't have replays because we have nothing that records our games, but we have screenshots, lot of them from Payday 2, that is a beautifully broken game (also our most played game).

Ultimately my favorite bugs are the ones that are weird but not game breaking, like Rivet

      And most of payday

If the game isn't already broken, we'll jump (sometimes golf) at walls until we find something to break, and if possible, we'll mod the game until it does break. (I have broken both versions of Skyrim to such a state that they no longer launch :P )

I have no idea when it started, but at some point we just started testing the limits of games for fun, purposely spamming animations, doors or whatever just to see if something happens. Like the flamethrower knife in the picture, it was actually triggered by a specific set of actions that I found by accident while jumping around and smashing buttons :P

We're just using nvidia's replay-saving function, since it comes with the drivers anyway. :P

I believe we've played a little bit of payday, but not too much. :P

Interesting 👀 we're exactly the same in that regard. :D

but yeah, spamming animations and toying with doors and the like often hides a treasure. pinkielmao32.png
