I started embracing it after several people said my catpony looks like a dog (that's also why he's holding a paper that says I'm a Catpony) and I love both creatures, I just prefer cats.

In the current one it's probably that yeah, but in the old avatars it was also the snout

as the pony snout mixed with cat-nose really does look like a dog snout, especially since he doesn't have whiskers
