I guess they have similarities but I wouldn't say it's the same.The mask isn't really evil by itself, as in, it doesn't turn those who wear it evil the moment they take it. It binds itself to the wearer on the soul-level (in other word, you're stuck with it until you die and even after that you aren't free.) and brings up the wearer's dark side. So it doesn't make you evil, it just takes the evil you already have inside you and amplifies it until it takes over.
It also never literally takes over, since after it succeeds with the corruption, the wearer already does what it wants.
Also wearer isn't necessarily the right term because it's rarely worn after the first time, it kinda just floats next to the "wearer"

I just finished the first season of the newest She-ra, and it's not bad.
I mean, it's not a masterpiece by any means, but I'll watch the rest of it and probably enjoy it.
One thing I dislike though, the weird effect on the characters' faces, is it shading? blush? it looks weird to me and as much as I try to ignore it, it always take me out of the show when I see it.

I don't get the "is Pepsi okay?" jokes, I have never been asked that in my life, I just ask for Cola and I get whichever they happen to have.

Okay so I just read a quite the amusing police-report.
Apparently there was (about)150 people protest in Finland, though it isn't clear what it was about, the notice given to police about it didn't state it clearly, something about being against some restrictions, so police decided to ask people in the protest, but it didn't really help, due to and I quote (and badly translate) "The state and delivery of the individuals asked." -

It just hit me, disinfecting has to be quite effective in Equestria since they do so many things using their mouths and nopony gets sick
I guess Twilight used that walking on clouds spell again. 
I don't have much planned, to be honest, apart from watching F1. 
I especially like the parents' designs.
