  1. This is kind of half question and half vent, but sometimes I see people saying that Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) aren't Christian, and it really confuses me. As a Latter-Day Saint, I strive to centre my life around Jesus Christ everyday. It just weirds me out a bit sometimes. :worry:

@J.T. But what did Joseph Smith teach that makes us not seem Christian?

Well, I used to be Evangelical Christian and It's not that in practice that Mormons are all that different from any other Christian it's that from their point of view the whole Book of Mormon is considered heretical. As they see it the last book of the Bible was the Book of Revelation given to John the Apostle.I know some in my family would go as far as to call the LDS Church a cult, though I think that to be a bit harsh.

Yeah, I can assure anyone we're not a freaky cult. We do commit a lot of time to our church though. I also have to wonder why people think God said that the Bible is the only book of scripture. I've read practically the whole thing and never saw that anywhere. The Bible wasn't even compiled until long after the books in the New Testament where written anyway.
