In AFL, there's four goalposts and if you kick it in between the two big posts, it's a goal and worth 6 points but if you kick and it goes between the big post and the little post, it's a behind and it's worth 1 point.
Use this as an example.
Collingwood Magpies : 12.15 87
Geelong Cats : 13.12 90In this game, the Geelong Cats kicked 13 goals and 12 behinds and that adds up to a total of 90 points while the Collingwood Magpies kicked 12 goals and 15 behinds and that adds to the total of 87 points and that means the Cats win the game.
And when it comes to blowing leads in AFL, there's so many cases of it happening that it's hard to keep up, I saw a game where a team came by from 52 points behind to win by 5 points, it's called the Miracle On Grass.

Well, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are leading the competition and the Melbourne Storm was leading until a comeback from the Canberra Raiders got the Raiders the victory but the Wests Tigers and the New Zealand Warriors nearly choked their leads and they survived.
I think the Melbourne Storm will win the title this year, they've got so much talents and a great coach on their side and it's so hard to rule against them although you never know, anybody close could win it and this year is quite unpredictable compared to last year and other years.
