I can't say I follow memes (I didn't know anything about Bowsette before seeing related posts here), but I'd say a lot of them get old pretty fast...

There are thousands of examples of characters turned into anime girls. With fairly recent ones being planets or web browsers. Bowser just had a surge of popularity but they ain't anything special. Just another one in the crowd. No idea why Bowsette deserves the popularity it has but also no idea why she deserves the hate. It's not like it's a new concept.

I mean, I don't hate Bowsette, seeing her all the time is just maybe a little old...  >.>
