Im going to fire up the server this afternoon and just build some stuff before the timelapse. I may even terraform the area a bit and tweak it. Anyone is welcome to join me. Including so long as he does his laundry Skype me if you will be joining me. This is a non-mandatory event

Then you are more than welcome to help with the timelapse . And, like I said, if you are avalible on thursday, you can always help design the buildings as well.

I can dig it. now here is the test: can you build one of these entire sky scrapers from memory in only 15 minutes?

So far it is looking like we will be doing the timelapse on saturday. Here is what this means: This thursday, anyone whom would like to help make the buildings for the timelapse may do so. We already have the town hall and a majority of the fort completed. All that remains to do are sections of the harbor, a few buildings to scatter about in town, some market stalls, and perhaps a boat or two. We are going to build all of these things before the actual recording of the timelapse on saturday. This is to ensure that we know what everything is going to look like, and it gives us a reference model for when we do the actual timelapse. On saturday, we will have our work cut out for us. All of the buildings that we have already made will have to be rebuilt by hand in the actual world. The area for the fort and the town hall and harbor is already laid out in spiderweb, which is invisible to our camera. Literally all you have to do is place blocks over the spiderweb (with a few exceptions) To sum up Thursday = optional building design and construction Saturday = Timelapse crunchtime. Build shtuff by hand hell yeah. If you have a link to this video, Id be more than happy to check it out! ^^

Just an update for anyone who missed it, we will be postponing the timelapse until a later date. I believe either tomorrow or thursday will work best. Let me know what times work for you on those dates, or if you would like a different date all together.

Today I thought is what we had planned for Unless this still doesnt work for people. if that is the case we can postpone until tomorrow, but I still need absolute confirmation from everyone!

Not from what Ive heard from a friend who has experience with such things. I will get to talk to him around 3 o'clock, so we will just wait and see.

I think we are going to aim for 3 EST, and that should line up with your 2 o'clock. I just need confirmation from everyone else then. From what I gather we should be set to go. Make sure to check the rules and stuff that I added for all of you in the OP. Hope to hear from you all soon!

Ok! Ill be posting the reference material and architectural guides soon and a few rules of the build. Also, caramba, I dont think we actually have to record the build as we are building it, but Im not to sure about that... We can figure that out later I suppose. And one last thing! Would anyone like to be on a Skype call while we do this? Could be fun, and then I could have everyone kind of talk at the end or something. Id like to make a closing bit and then post the video to my youtube channel.
