    VERY unpopular opinion: I think socialism is great.

      Well, socialism isn't an on or off switch. It isn't about if you want to be socialist, but rather how socialist you want to be. There are many services in America that are socialist (i.e. social security, police, fire department, et)

       

      Depending on circumstance, it's not only good, but necessary. Everything in moderation

      Exactly. People complain about socialism all the time while driving on the road, reading a book they checked out from the library, on their way to the park.
