    I am guessing DVD sales were not good for the last few seasons of MLP FiM from Shout Factory, that they just stopped at season 7?

    I was kinda hoping to own seasons 8 and 9 on DVD.

    I ordered seasons 6 and 7 and Friendship Games from Amazon, gotta build up more MLP DVD collection :D

      I've been holding out for Blu-ray releases. I'm hoping that with how resistant they've been to releasing Blu-ray versions of the seasons, that we'll end up at least getting a G4 Complete Collection release in the format.

      I hope you are right.

      The last MLP DVD that was released by them was Hearts and Hooves, and that was in January of 2019.

      I don't know how far their license goes, and some of the older gen DVDs are out of print from them now.

      I have been buying them to support Shout Factory and Hasbro at the same time.
