    Apparently, my bro is all pissed off, because he bricked my parents 400 dollar computer with a new graphics card which we both thought would work! We're so super-f*cked!

      apparently we got a blue screen of death when we put in the card and a 500w power supply. We tried removing the graphics card, but still blue screen of death.

      It might be the driver thats the problem, start it up in Safe Mode. Press F8 right before the windows boot screen appears and navigate to Safe Mode and press Enter.

      Too late, my bro has a friend who can supposedly rescue all my family's pics... HOPEFULLY...

      My bro says he'll buy them a new computer anyways... I knew this would happen, I KNEW IT!

      This is why I have backups of MY pictures on MY ext. hdd.

      This is also why I buy OEM computers and don't screw around with them, so this kind of thing won't happen!
