Yea I feel like the Sunset Shimmer Equestria arch would never happen cuz they showed her going and then being like oh Twilights not here oh well there’s nothing else important for me to do in Equestria. Also in the Friendship Games commentary there was talk about Sunset wanting to go back etc. and the ending was confirming her returning but they scrapped it which would have made the film way better (least fav of egg movies, still like it but kinda boring).

With the counterpart though, I feel like that is more likely but probably being saved for when the show starts becoming stale as it seems like these geodes might be explored more and the crack in the statue. But “get the show on the road” did make it some like the show was gunna be them touring but it never happened. So maybe the direction will just be slice of life for now. I’m not complaining cuz I love the music! 

@Sparklefan1234 The writers said they decided she didn’t, just to make things simpler, but that’s boring.

@Misscellanio It’s such a loose end, though. Never say never!

(I like Friendship Games just fine. Most ambitious of the films IMO. Legend of Everfree is the one which bores me.)
